Not for many people it can be worthy, but for me it's simply about passion. I love to do it, and many people around the world, like me, it also need time in their day. It's a trade-off. For example, if I'm feeling bored or I need to take my mind somewhere else, I will go to the garage and start cleaning the engine bay or interior at any time I want. So, it becomes like a hobby.
If you have good cars, it's also good to take care of them yourself because 99% of commercial services that charge 400-700 do not care as much as you can by yourself.
It becomes economical when you have more than 2 or 3 cars.
