I always do the tutorials a bit slow. In that way is easier to follow. The option of changing playback speed is a really good function for music tutorials.

Ah ok. I understand. For beginners I recommend that you strum all the strings. The higher ones are the most important. The arrows mean the direction of the right hand. If it’s an upstroke or a downstroke. I recommend you to use youtube’s playback option for slowing down the playback speed. It’s really helpful

Do you mean low or dark? If it’s in standard tuning they should sound in the same pitch because I am in standard tuning. But if it sounds darker it could be the guitar, the strings or your technique. I use steal strings, they sound brighter than nylon strings. And I put more emphasis on the brighter strings when I strum.
