I've been diamond painting for a while now, your cover minder is cute, I'm disappointed they've got rid of the cover minder, it was the favourite part of the kit for me as well as the heart shaped container for the wax. .
Well done! You explained a lot of details that I wished I would have known about when I started DP about four years ago. My fav company is/was Craftibly and am so sad to see them go because I just loved their quality and art choices.
I guess that depends on preference! I prefer the Diamond Art Club thin metal multiplacers. I don't use the screw-in variety because none of my pens call for that. I think it's all just in personal preference. :)
Oh, rats! I was looking for mosaic rooster kits and was directed to Amazon where I couldn’t believe how "cheap (inexpensive)" a patriotic rooster diamond painting was. For $17 I thought it was too good to be true as I have NEVER looked into this craft. Figured what the heck that I could try it for that price. Unfortunately, I purchased then I came to TH-cam where there are a multitude of videos with lots of information regarding storage, waxes etc…which of course =$$$. Yours is the first one showing the quality of cheap to more expensive and just watching your first one from Amazon seems to be exactly what my pick is.☹️☹️. But it is what it is so hopefully the kit I purchased will turn out ok because it’s got beautiful colors.🤞🏼🤞🏼
No offense but my first 2 DAC, 1- square, can't read the tattoo on her arm, at all. And #2- round - had ll everwhere it actually ended up being most of the # didnt print well and too many poor sticky areas. So buyer beware.
Oh no! That's no good! I have never really had any issues with DAC, did you contact them about your issues? They are typically very receptive to feedback. What was the square piece you worked on?
@@rosesmith6925 Yeah I see what you're talking about. It's almost like if it had been done in rounds it may have translated that better but then the detail in the rest would be lost. Sometimes I hate when they select art that doesn't fit the render well. Like the recent Yuumei piece with the treehouse? In the render, you can barely make out a face of the girl sitting in the window. It just looks like a pair of round glasses and a dot for a nose. LOL That said, they can't always get it right but mostly they do.
Thank you, thank you!! I am just starting to just think about doing diamond painting. And, I am SO glad I found your video on what to look for!!
You bet! Let me know if you have questions!
The colors on "Paint The Moon" are goooooorgeousssss😍

I agree! The cover minder and washi were fun little extras! And I even liked the heart shaped wax container too! *sigh*
That was perhaps the most educational video a new diamond painter /crafter could have! 👏👏👏
Awwwww! Thank you so much! I am glad you found it useful! 🥰

I never got a chance to try them so I'm seeeeriously bummed. Thinking maybe I can find one in Destash somewhere...
Such a complete, well thought out video! I love it!
@@aleialaw thanks so much!!
Diamond dotz extravaganza kit with multi placers that are plastic - is that better than the Amazon ones with the metal. Screw on angled placers?

Girl math. Thank you
LOL Thanks for watching!
This does not open jars. We tried all kinds of jars none of them opened.
@brigittelogue6678 what kind of jars are you trying to open?
