Thank you so much, that has helped me so much with all the detail you went into and you made it so easy to understand. Do you recommend Diamond painting for those that need to wear reading glasses? I noticed the numbers to follow are tiny. Linda x
Why watch the videos your not going to do this, I watched them Cause I did not know how to do and it seems a little overwhelming but I'll give it a try
Your explanation was so clear and concise and you’ve demonstrated things very well. Often on TH-cam people go into too much detail before they even get started on what they are showing. I appreciate your clarity. It has me excited to try this new hobby. I’ve given some elementary age kids to my grandchildren, and they are already enjoying them. I’m looking forward to trying this out myself. Thank you for your clarity and help in getting me started!
I started diamond painting this summer to take my mind off of pain from shoulder surgery on my non dominant shoulder. It is so meditative it totally worked, less pain medicine! Instead of 6 months recovery it only took my 3 and a half months but I am still doing diamond paintings! I am on my 8th one I like the bigger ones. My first one was round then I switched to square drills. I listen to audio books while I diamond paint. So relaxing!!
When covid hit I decided I would start crafting I've made & gave away 90% of everything I have made countless Tye dyed shirts, wreaths, flower arrangements, wood work, jewelry making, candle making even paint pouring. You name it I've done it now to TRY THIS!!!!
Thank you so much! I purchased my first kit, opened it and was mortified at what I saw. It actually brought me anxiety and I was getting ready to run for the snack cupboard, but instead I decided to do a search on TH-cam. That’s when I discovered you! I was going to let it sit there and now I feel confident to start creating a picture that I think is so beautiful. Your video was so well explained and so detailed. I literally cannot think of a question for you. Thank you for taking the anxiety and headache out of this very economical and affordable new hobby. I’m elated! Again thank you. Liked and subscribed! ❤
I remember when my father was a miner he would collect beautiful pieces of crystals & opals & sit for hours and make coffee tables with peacocks (always birds) & sell them or give them away took him weeks
I tried this bc I was looking for something more relaxing than coloring (I have the kind of anxiety that causes me to deliberate endlessly over what color something should be) and I initially thought, "well, this is a cute design, but most of them are not for me, I probably won't do another project like this". Instead my husband saw it and asked me to make something cheery and welcoming for his office (he counsels at-risk young people) and it just sort of snowballed from there- now I'm completely addicted and I can't wait for the time of day when I get to listen to my podcasts and "paint".
Your voice is so calming and encouraging! I needed something for anxiety! Thank you so much! You are my first video I watched since my first purchase of diamond art today! I am actually doing it successfully thanks to you right now.
I've had my diamond painting all wrapped up from the day it arrived over 2 months ago now, being too nervous to even attempt to start it but tonight I took the kit out of its packaging and thought "You Tube" I'm so glad I did because your video has explained each and every little detail from beginning to end in order to get the diamond picture done, Thank you Claire and yes I am indeed going to begin mine as soon as I've sent this message , so excited to see the outcome of my picture now 😁
Go to Amazon and get you a organizing case. It comes with little containers and it helps so much with the drills. Correspond each container to each drill and write each letter, number, symbols, and etc. on the top of the container. Is your small round or square plain stickers.
I do that sometimes just depends my mood, usually I do the sky in a painting first. Doing the diamond painting is a stress reliever so whatever works - just works, one thing never touch the glue on the canvas with your had or sleeve! other than that go a head drive your sister and niece crazy. LOL
My boyfriends mom recently got into diamond painting and she sent me a kit through the mail, at first I was very intimidated but as a make up artist I love a challenge. I watched your video once I had already started and I’m so glad I watched your video! Using the opposite side of the pan to pick up multiple drills definitely save me some time!
I’m just about to open my first project and wanted tips before getting everything out. This is a great “how to” video. I appreciate the speed that you express yourself. Thanks for the explanation of what a “drill” is and other tips. Other videos assume the person watching knows all the terminology. Great video. Hope you show your finished project. Thanks.
How's it going? I just got the sunflower. It is small one to start. I am thrilled we can send in pictures and have then printed in the same way. What a fun gift!
I didn’t know what this was called so tried to look this up on Amazon and my searches said: 1: puzzle with beads 2: paper with beads 3: beaded paper 4: that cool puzzle with beads
My Mom just bought us a kit, (me, my sil, and my nieces) and they didn’t come with any instructions. I also noticed that my pen didn’t have the tip where I could pick up more than one drill, even though it looks exactly the same as yours. Glad I found your video! I was completely clueless as to what to do!
They don't usually come with a set of instructions. Normally on the painting/canvas part itself it will have your numbers/codes on it as well. I usually open up each bead pack, cut it's number off the now empty bead pack and I put that in a tiny little ziploc (they'll usually give you a handful of them with each puzzles, I bought a pack of them so I'd have enough and I reuse them with each painting) with the beads that came out of that particular plastic bag. Once I have all the beads in their own separate ziplocs, I cut just that top plastic protector piece on top of the painting once down the middle and once across so it's in 4 squares. Also when you unroll your painting at first it's hard to lay it flat so start peeling it like you're gonna take the whole thing off, but instead just peel it to the middle, flip it and do it to the other side. Then I start at the top left, then top right, that way you don't stick to your painting! Not sure if any of this was mentioned but I started explaining how I do them and couldn't stop, lol!
That was exactly the video I was looking for. Ordering a kit for a granddaughter but now I’m thinking maybe for grandma instead! Excellent job of instruction and very helpful tips. Good job.
I have only just found out about diamond painting today, from a colleague at work. I came to TH-cam to seek more info - because there is nowhere better to learn than from people who are passionate and willing to share. Thank you SOo much for starting AT THE BEGINNING(!) and taking the time to talk me thru all the elements of this type of crafting. I really, really appreciate your time and your willingness to share your knowledge & experience so far. Even down to cost, storage, tips & tricks, your video has comprehensively introduced me to diamond art. I am going to take a look at some pictures on Amazon now and choose one! Thank you again!
I found this video to get back into diamond painting, but 10 seconds in you said you normally do content about colouring books and I have never gone to the channel to check it out so fast ❤ this is exactly what I need right now, thanks so much
Thank you so very much! Especially the part about how to pick up spilled drills, ' cause I know I'm gonna do that first! I picked this up because I do cross stitch, needlepoint, crochet, bad paintings, colouring books and giant puzzles and I thought "You know, I don't have enough to do." I'm excited and really appreciate your beginners steps. ❤
I had to grin when I read your comment. It could’ve come from me. I have all of those same hobbies, on top of photography and creating greeting cards. There are some really lovely diamond painting cards. I’ve been making cards for about 20 years, but last year I made the diamond painting cards for Christmas for the first time and everyone loved them. My cousin told me in February that she still had hers (a snowman, so a winter rather than an actual Christmas motif) on the sideboard.
Bad paintings? What are those? I'm starting crochet with woobles and embroidery kits from local craft stores rn lol. I also have like 20 puzzle books 😵💫 I thought I was crazy
I've ordered my first Diamond Painting kit. I've never done something like this and am eager to get started, this video was great to watch on how to get started. Thanks so much!! Plus it was great to know that some of the “extra” equipment I’ve ordered (the plastic boxes & light table) weren’t an unnecessary expense. I would’ve never thought to cut the plastic coating into strips to keep from sticking to the canvas. Now I’m really excited to get started 😊😁
I got a kit for Christmas. I hadn't started it yet; looking at the tools through the eyes of a serious crafter, I knew that more/ better accessories would make it go more smoothly. I opted to order an accessory kit from Amazon. I'm glad that I did, after watching this. I have all the right stuff. Thank you!
highly highly recommend from one crafter to another, a more ergonomic drill stylus. I started out with the thin pink one that seems to come with all kits, and my arthritis hated me for it- I bought a swirly resin pen with a much thicker, contoured grip and although it took me a while to get used to the different handle, it's made a huge difference- I can go much longer without my hand cramping up. They are very inexpensive on Amazon!
I’ve been wondering about diamond painting. You have explained it so well! And you’ve given wonderful tips too. Thank you! I think I’m going to give it a try.
Wondered what diamond painting was. Google brought your video up in the search. I was really thrilled with how you explained what it was. The explaination of what was in a kit and how they are used plus the cross stitch idea what you should be aware as precautions in working. Your camera did a great job showing how a light box made it easier to see the symbols. The suggestions for removing creases, moving drills, and reasons for storing and using stick on labels on little storage boxes as well as slicing strips in the adhesive protective cover were really appreciated. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and hints.
I just received 2 diamond paintings from a sweet friend. I watched your video and now I'm going to start on my first masterpiece. Thank you for this very informative video!
I always write the symbol on the little bags the drills come in. So I don't have to look up which number is what symbol and can grab the right bag directly.
Wow! That's really good to know that the colors from Diamond Painting and Cross Stitching are the same. Thank you!! It's probably not common knowledge.
I've just bought a 5D diamond in Harry Potter. I've never done one of these before, and your tutorial is invaluable. I love cross stitch and I've been doing that for years. Thank you so much for your tips. Brilliant
A friend just gave me my first diamond painting.... all the beads, pen, etc, but no instructions. So.... came to TH-cam and you were my very first video on the subject! So thank you. You explained everything so well, now I can't wait to get started!!!
This has got to be the most thorough and thoughtful instructional and tip video on diamond art that I have seen yet! Thank you for covering all of the bases. You have a real knack.
One tip that's really helped me is using parchment paper! I kept having issues with the plastic film n my board getting dust n stuff on it while working on other areas so I seen people putting parchment paper on it befor they start the project n then take a exacto knife n cut a small area I usually do around 1 inch by 2 inch sections n it has been SO very useful n makes it a lot more enjoyable I'm actually using this as practice becuz I want to bring a old pair of UGGs that I was gonna donate n then thought well I could blind it out
I recently was put on bed rest and I’m trying to find ways to keep my self busy while also sitting and relaxing and I found diamond painting. My first canvas is coming on Thursday and I’m excited to try. You’ve explained everything so well.
Thank you , I was just planning to buy it. And I was wondering how to start it. Your video helped me . I can't wait to start it. Thank you again so much.
Thank you so much, this is my first painting and was getting a little overwhelmed over the amount od tools I received ❤ I am now working on my painting and you were a lifesaver
I have been diamond painting for a few years now. I'm currently doing a massive personalised one for a friend. It's a square drill full paste. Taking forever but I love it
Thanks for all your tips. My kit was provided without any directions and now I feel confident after putting these tips into practice. Thanks again from Deb in Australia.
I love the way she explained and show everything about Diamond Painting. Thank you for Tips and Tutorial it is so helpful specially to me because this is my first ever diamond painting.
Hi Claire! My grandma and I always do diamond art and we use tweezers. Now that I know how to use a drill pen. I just bought 3 pages to work on over the summer to relax from losing my best friend. I really like diamond art and this video helped me a lot. Thanks for posting this video!
I could listen to you talk for weeks!!!! Your adorable and I giggled every time you said the letter H.. so cute!! For reals though thank you I so want to do this!!
@@Oitswan Now wondering how other countries pronounce 'H'?! I live in the UK, and actually pronounce it 'aitch', but obviously have heard it pronounced 'haitch' by lots of people in the UK, especially the north.
Total newb here. I was getting so frustrated with the gems not sticking to my pen, but thankfully you helped me realize I wasn’t completely submerging my pen into the wax. Thank you!
I'm a nurse and for the past year and a half I've been working on a covid unit. It's the hardest situation I've ever gone through and I credit 3 things for keeping me sane; my husband, loud music, and diamond painting. All of the kits I've gotten are mandalas because I think they're absolutely beautiful, but also because I don't have to stress about placing the stones in a perfectly straight line.😉 I'm so glad I found this wonderful craft, but I have no idea what to do with all the ones I've finished...I'm starting to run out of room over here and I don't see myself stopping anytime soon. As long as covid is here I'll be painting with diamonds...🤷🏼♀️ Happy drilling everyone! It's one simple thing we can do to make the world a more beautiful place! 👍✌️💚🕉️
Thanks so much Claire for your handy hints - I love how you stay on track & don't go off on a tangent like so many others do! Very informative & straight to the point.
I know, I'm really late to this party...however, I did want to thank you so much for this primer on Diamond Painting. I have, just recently, seen the kits, but had no clue as to how it was done.
I've just received my 1st Diamond painting and super excited to get started. Thank you for your amazing tips in this video. You've explained and demonstrated very well. If there was a "love" button, you will most definitely receive thousands..lol, so here's me sending you "❤" button😊 Aloha from Hawaii🌺
Just bought some Diamond Painting kits from Amazon. I’ve never done them before, so wanted to find some tutorials. Yours is FABULOUS! Thank you for so many wonderful tips!
Its nice to watch and try something different sometimes. Then when you go back to your main hobby you feel refreshed and ready to start again.Nice clear, and concise tutorial. Thanks Claire.
This is a great tutorial video. I’ve just started this hobby and I fell in love with it! Since I’m left handed, I discovered that my method is starting on a corner, then working around and in.
I got into diamond painting during the pandemic. I’ve completed two so far and I find it very relaxing and very addictive. I encourage everyone to try it at some point.
Thank you so much! I have my first kit and am anxious to get started. Claire's manner and voice are so pleasant and very well explained as how to proceed. I received it as a gift, so was totally in the dark as to how to start. Now, I'm all set and ready to go.
Haich does make a certain amount of sense, though, even if it is wrong! :) As someone pointed out in pronouncing letters, nobody says feff for F, lell for L, mem for M, nen for N, rar for R, ses for S, woubleyou for W, or yai for Y!
I have been working on a 70cm x 65cm piece that I ordered with artwork by Nikki Burnette on it. Love doing these. This is my second one. 64 different colors! I do this when I’m not in the mood to draw or color, it’s a great calming hobby and the finished products are just so pretty! Thanks for sharing 😀
Thank you Claire I’m about to start my first Diamond painting although I’m an established crafter of more than 20 years on and off I started with cross stitching and now usually do card making, scrapbooking and 4d paper crafting. I’ve chosen the dolphins jumping over the moon. I only paid £2.00 shipping from Wish the actual kit was free so if I can’t get along with this new craft then I’ve not wasted a lot of money maybe that’s a tip for others. I’ll let you know how I get on. Take care. Xx🏴
Alison I just received my kit I've been a crafter for years anything from Making Jewelry to Mosaics to reusing various house hold containers, pine cones anything that can be reused to make beautiful art work. But I find Diamond painting a little overwhelming, I know its a big hit, but I will keep trying maybe it will grow on me, I did not know what I was getting into, a friend recommended and then I order from wish, great prices so if I can't keep up with it I have not wasted money
Thank you Claire for the video. I have two of the smaller size kits and yes they are quite relaxing. For me the one downside is I have cats and they are quite curious and even with the protective film I get cat hair stuck to it. On a funny note one of the laid across it and now I have fuzzy diamond art.
Michelle - Once completed, I wrap a little bit of tape on my hand and dab at the visible cat hairs and then use a soft toothbrush up and down the channels for a final cleanup. Learned that from another video - works great!
@@teresabeeson7593 Another video suggested using dryer sheets on the drills to kill static. I've discovered that wiping both sides of my plastic cover sheet with the dryer sheet (small box of Bounce sheets from the dollar store) has made a HUGE difference.
I have done a couple of these now and I am quite happy to keep the drill in their original little bags. I just fold over the top and use a paperclip to close them. I keep the little bags sorted by number in a small lengthy tray, works well! Also, after completing the paining I use a credit card to slide across the drills in between the grooves so to speak to align them. Have all of them framed and they look great!
I just received my first 2 projects!! So excited to get started, but i am an organizer freak hehehe gotta get those drills organozed before i start. Out to the $$ store for containers! Thank you
Thank you so much for this video..my diamond painting came today and I was so excited as I've been poorly in bed for 3 weeks with pneumonia and pleurisy so I've been desperate to do something to keep me occupied, sane, and relaxed to help take my mind off my pains ..I had absolutely no idea how to do it and it didn't come with instructions.. after watching your video I feel confident I can do this now and hopefully i won't muck it up now as it's my first attempt in creating this for a gift..you a star for making this video for anyone who's up for trying a new hobby and doesn't know where to begin . Mine also came folded and had creases so your tea towel tip was very much appreciated as this needs to be done before you start so that's something I probably wouldn't of thought of doing until after I watched your tutorial...so thank you again 👍☺️👍 right less chatter for me I'm off to iron my canvas so I can begin 💜
Thank you! Getting ready to start my first one and although I'm fairly accomplished at the "craft" genre, I was nervous about doing this. Your video was absolutely perfect to get me started!
I just started diamond painting about a month and a half ago and I quickly became addicted! LOL . I have not been coloring though because I've been spending all my time diamond painting!
Same here. I am just trying a square drill diamond painting at the moment. I have finished 5 round drill diamond painting kits but square drill take a bit longer as you have to focus that it's straight. Rounds is quicker cause you can just place the drill without worrying if it's straight.
If you take 2 of the green trays put your drills on it and take the 2nd tray bottom up push it down the drills will click and be right side up, making it way more effective when picking them up.
I got one of these diamond paintings like a year ago and just never took the time to try it. Today I decided to try it and came across your video. Thank you so much for the tips. I had no idea what I was doing. Now I am hooked. I absolutely love doing these.
Claire, you are such a wonderful teacher. You are clear and to the point, without a lot of unnecessary description. I am ready to start my first project, and I feel you've taught me all I need to know. Your voice and lovely accent are very calming also. Thanks so much.
You did an absolutely wonderful job of explaining this thoroughly! I’ve been working with diamond painting for about 4 months and I still learned something from your explanation. Great job!
I just got my first diamond painting and was excited to get started but a bit intimidated by the process and a few immediate questions (like how to get rid of the creases in my rolled-up canvas!) Your video answered all my questions and made the process look so easy! I'm thrilled! So, thank you so much for this informative video. Your accent is lovely and was a pleasure to listen to.
I bought a diamond painting kit 2 year's ago and started a bit but my life changed over the time and I couldn't do it so it was left and now I have the time and am starting it up again. I am feeling excited about it 🤗
Just started, to help with my burn out and stress. One of my clients actually taught me about this craft and I love it so far. Ty for this video it was perfectly made & really helpful. ♥️
I've been gifted a canvas, and since it's my very first time at diamond painting, I looked for a tutorial and I found yours. Thanks so much. It's a great, exhaustive tutorial. Cheers from Italy. Elena.
I've just bought my first one, looking forward to it coming this weekend. I love the video, very useful tricks, and tips to keep in mind. Thank you! :D
Thank you Claire. My first ever Diamond Painting kit arrived just now with no instructions/guidance so your vid has proved invaluable. Wish me luck (and patience). 😊😜😇
Claire, thanks so very much for all these wonderful tips and tricks! I really liked the one about the light pad! And the tip about using the drill pen's end tip to gather up more than one drill, is a real time saver! In addition, I especially liked that you cut your film cover in strips as you worked to make it easier to finish the canvass! This is a wonderfully detailed video, and I sincerely thank you for the time you put into it, because it certainly helped me!
I started literally just now and it’s a great way to spend ur time during quarantine. I’m just having a lot of trouble aligning the jewel but it’s okay as it doesn’t requires too much perfection on this project. :)
I've just been gifted two kits by my mother-in-law and this is the first video I clicked on. Your voice is so lovely to listen to, and the speed of tutorial is PERFECT for following along! I love the tip about cutting slits and referring to your dominant hand so you don't get drills stuck to your wrist!
I really love doing the Diamond Painting, which i've bought only from Diamond Dotzs at Mary Maxim online-store, and i'm addict to this because when you start the time flyes and it's been 2 hours i do that when i realized it's time to go the bed lol! I agree with you for the Light Pad, it's much more easier to work with this one because the square are very tiny so if you do it on day time no problems but at the evening it's another story! Thank you so much Claire for these links who i will check after and great review as usual!
Ive just recieved my first one i had a custom made one of a picture of my daughter..this video has been really helpful to getting me started on it, the light pad is a great suggestion, im going to buy one now..thanks for the great tips... Tracy x
What a super clear and to the point tutorial. Was glued to your video. I am a cross stitcher but internet proposed me these diamond kits and as I have never seen them I wanted to see the work behind. Also SUPER USEFUL to know that one can turn diamond canvas to cross stitch one, my eyes went like 🤩😍🥳 thanks again for all your tips 🙏 ❤
I've been thinking about diamond painting and I found your video really helpful. I suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis, Depression and Social Anxiety, so I've been looking for a new therapeutic hobby to help. I've already bought a few sets and I can't wait to get started.
Thank you Claire. I have watched a few videos about this hobby but as usual you explain things so well. Love your colouring so much and think I will love this too. Keep up the good work.

Why watch the videos your not going to do this, I watched them Cause I did not know how to do and it seems a little overwhelming but I'll give it a try

Sounds beautiful! Can you share pictures of your dad's work?
Wow,nice memory.bet they were beautiful.Never seen anything like you described.

Good job.
I was thinking of ordering for my granddaughter's 13th birthday.
I've ordered for grandma to (me ) lol and have a half drill to start it's a fairy for my two yr old grandaughter
My family enjoys diamond painting, so we ordered one for one of my grandmas, she has finished it yesterday :)
Hopefully, you ordered for your granddaughter and yourself and are enjoying quality time together while creating diamond art 😊
I just got one in the mail. I was so excited to find this video. It was a great informative video. Wish me luck 😁.
I found this video to get back into diamond painting, but 10 seconds in you said you normally do content about colouring books and I have never gone to the channel to check it out so fast ❤ this is exactly what I need right now, thanks so much
Welcome!
I started today my fist one and I absolutely love it
SO HELPFUL. THANK YOU!
Can yall pls follow daimond_paintingkw on insta
Brilliant
When I drop any drills onto the floor I use a sticky lint roller to pick them up, then remove them with tweezers. its a great way and so quick !
Thank you so much, what a compliment!
I just bought a diamond painting set and this tutorial was really helpful! Thank you so much!
Tfs I’ve just bought a diamond painting and wasn’t sure as the instructions weren’t very clear. Can’t wait now to start it x
Taking forever but I love it
are you the one making your own personalised pattern?
“Oh my god this is the longest shit iv ever seen”
what does full paste mean? do the personalized ones come with the drills? what can be done with any leftovers?
Where can One obtain “personalized kits” or are you just doing it freestyle? Thanks 😊
Thank you! I watched this before I started my first kit. You explained everything so well that I now have the confidence to get started!
Me too! Was adorable how she pronounced H!
That’s how we say it in England...
@@Oitswan not everyone lives in England 🙃
@@Oitswan Now wondering how other countries pronounce 'H'?! I live in the UK, and actually pronounce it 'aitch', but obviously have heard it pronounced 'haitch' by lots of people in the UK, especially the north.
Me too i don't know why
As long as covid is here I'll be painting with diamonds...🤷🏼♀️
Happy drilling everyone!
I have had a diamond paint kit for a year, but felt intimidated about starting it. After watching your tutorial I feel like I am ready. Thank you
Just bought some Diamond Painting kits from Amazon. I’ve never done them before, so wanted to find some tutorials. Yours is FABULOUS!
Thank you for so many wonderful tips!
Thank you Claire, this was my first introduction to Diamond Painting and I am now inspired.
You are a godsend. I bought a set and it didn’t come with any instructions. You’ve made it super easy to understand. Thank you!
My oldest daughter just got me a sunflower one! Can't wait to try. Also love the way you say "H". Letter H
Haich does make a certain amount of sense, though, even if it is wrong! :)
As someone pointed out in pronouncing letters, nobody says feff for F, lell for L, mem for M, nen for N, rar for R, ses for S, woubleyou for W, or yai for Y!
Is it just me or does any one else love her voice ❤💗❤💗❤
Yes, it's adorable!
My daughter bought me a dream catcher. Before watching your video, I was clueless. Thank you for your clear instructions.
Thank you. Simple to the point. No extra b.s.. Pleasant tone of voice. Great tips and advice. It's my 1st time too.
I bought Mike it offline and they didn't give me any instructions to it at all so your video helped a lot so thank you
Put a piece of tape over your sharpie numbers and it won’t get on your hands.
Great idea
or you can cover it with clear nail polish
I got my first canvas today!!! Can't wait to start on it!!!!❤❤❤
Have fun!
Michelle Stevens I was wondering that myself because I have Chihuahuas and I always have short little dog hairs everywhere 🤗😳😜
@@teresabeeson7593 Another video suggested using dryer sheets on the drills to kill static. I've discovered that wiping both sides of my plastic cover sheet with the dryer sheet (small box of Bounce sheets from the dollar store) has made a HUGE difference.
Yes!! I also find MY hair constantly sticking up on my cavas! Gross....😬
I literally lolled 🤣 fuzzy 5D art ❤️
I have done a couple of these now and I am quite happy to keep the drill in their original little bags. I just fold over the top and use a paperclip to close them. I keep the little bags sorted by number in a small lengthy tray, works well! Also, after completing the paining I use a credit card to slide across the drills in between the grooves so to speak to align them. Have all of them framed and they look great!
Fab tip!
Sad
Me too :D
Same here. I am just trying a square drill diamond painting at the moment. I have finished 5 round drill diamond painting kits but square drill take a bit longer as you have to focus that it's straight. Rounds is quicker cause you can just place the drill without worrying if it's straight.
@@highhopes151 I am working on my first square and it is definitely a longer process than round!
Lori Cooper i
If you take 2 of the green trays put your drills on it and take the 2nd tray bottom up push it down the drills will click and be right side up, making it way more effective when picking them up.
It also separates any stuck together!
Thank you so much!
I've been doing 2 inch squares, but I just bought a Starry Night large canvas, and wanted some tips. This is perfect - thank you!
Ok....I think I'm ready now!! Thank u! You've been the best tutorial by far. I've had mine since Christmas. A little intimidated. Lol. Here I go! 😁
Thank you! :D
thanks! i got one of these kits for my birthday, but it had absolutely zero explanation on the box. this was really helpful
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you Claire. My first ever Diamond Painting kit arrived just now with no instructions/guidance so your vid has proved invaluable. Wish me luck (and patience). 😊😜😇
You do this for your anxiety. I have bad anxiety and panic attacks and I’ve just recently just started.
Same I’ve got anxiety and stress and other mental disorders sometimes and this REAAAALLLYY helps.it’s also really fun.
I’m on my moums accounts
Starting my first diamond painting. Thank you so much for this tutorial. I was almost overwhelmed when I opened my package.
Thank you so much!
I wish I was still a high school kid, because I will invest my entire time doing this, without a doubt.
I’m a newbie on diamond painting. I’m having so much fun. I got me a cow picture it was calling out to me lol .
Mmoooooo
Meagan Johnson where did you buy it from
Amazon
Meagan Johnson I’m not trying to be annoying but what do I type on amazon and thank you for taking your time to responds

Thanks this the best tutorial I've seen for diamond painting. You have covered all the basics and more.
Thanks Trudie x
I have been so interested in trying this! Your video and all your tips was SO helpful! Great pointers and awesome information. Thank you!
Ive become totally addicted to these.
