How To Remove Stock Duckbill, Lexus IS 2010-2021

- This is how to remove the duckbill off a 2010-2021 Lexus IS F Sport. This will be the same for the Lexus IS 250, Lexus IS 200t, Lexus IS 300, Lexus IS 350, Lexus ISF. I replaced mine with a carbon fiber duckbill which I picked up on Amazon, link below along with the required tools.

Thank you. Yeah the stock one was way to simple plus I had to remove it for the wrap so that was a good time to just upgrade it
Did you notice any discoloration where the old duckbill was set?
After I cleaned the adhesive I didn’t see any discoloration luckily
When trying to undo the nut from the screw, I pushed to hard I think.
The nut is still extremely tight and now the screw just spins and I can't get the nut off. Any ideas
One of mine was already like that. It broke the plastic piece on the underside that holds the screw in place. I ended up having to essentially force the spoiler off and ripping it out
How did ur cover the holes completely mine didn’t it still shows it
Oh that’s weird, maybe they were manufactured differently
Same for me, the carbon fiber spoiler doesn’t cover the middle two holes, when you bend down you can see half of the holes exposed. Hope someone can help
@Roberto Flores find out the exact name of ur vehicle paint color and then order vinyl of same color and simply cut small rectangular vinyl piece and wrap the top of hole to ensure no eatter goes in and you can also put a pieces of viny from inside where the hole is to be safe
I have the same issue but I want a duck tail spoiler do u guys have any recommendations???
Do you know if this spoiler would fit over the stock duckbill or does it need to be removed?
The carbon one is shaped to fit directly onto the trunk
Kinda unfortunate for mine because, I have the same cb spoiler but the spoiler didn’t cover the holes like yours
Oh that’s weird and annoying. Is there any way to return that one and maybe order a different one?
