you can update this to 2022....I have a 2022 IS500 and it's the exact same way to remove the doors. The only critique is to better show how to remove the plug from the Keyless Door Entry sensor thing. It's very difficult and I think I almost broke it on the first door I did. but thank you so much!! this helped out so much!

Ok so what’s the secret to screwing the t30 screw back into the lock on the door handle? Came off no issue but I have tried all sorts of angles and I can’t seem to get the screw to align back with the lock on the handle. Drivers side door.
@@tylergrigsby8478 that’s weird. Maybe you have to move it around a little in order for it to line up properly
@@MTParadise I’ve tried. It doesn’t want to line up for some reason. I’ve tried all sorts of angles and pressures etc. I’m about to just take it in to a shop to have them mess with it. I’ve spent an hour trying to screw in this one screw
I need to repair/replace the interior handle on my 2010 do I need to follow these same instructions up to approx 3:04 and then hopefully I can just figure the rest out? I'm smart (ish) but don't normally do any car stuff. I do feel like I can atleast follow along with your great instructions to that point and then I can hopefully figure the rest out.. (unless you feel like doing another video lol.) Thank you for this video either way. Any advice?
I didn’t think to look at the interior door handle but I’m sure once the door panel is off, it should be pretty simple

Great video , was wondering if you could help with my is250 AWD 2006, my passenger front exterior handle when pulled it stays out and has to be push back in seems out of place , is this the same process for my car and would do you think is going on ?

The process is very similar. Either the handle is out of place or there’s a broken part the it’s supposed to hook into
i removed my rear passenger door handles to wrap my car as well. i accidentally broke the hook that holds the lock actuator in place. i bought a new handle that comes with the piece i broke but it’s all connected as one. how would i fit this back through the door with the hook on already? or is the hook able to come off itself and i can squeeze it back into the door handle after? please help, thanks!
I’m not sure I’m picturing the exact part. It’s been a while since I had mine apart but are you talking about the part that’s connected to the handle itself that goes through the door?
@@MTParadise it’s apart of the door handle assembly and is already inside the door panel. when you remove the door handles, it doesn’t come out with it. could i show you a picture of the part i’m talking about on instagram dm’s? it’s the piece that holds up the door actuator so that it doesn’t fall down. in the older is gen’s it’s a metal rod, but for the newer 3is gen’s it’s a plastic part now.

Put my door back together & the outside door handle doesn’t work. Can’t figure out what I did wrong, took it off 3 times…
It sounds like it’s not aligned to the plastic piece inside. There is a gap that the handle will slide into
Idk what I did wrong when reassembling the rear passenger door but it won’t open from the inside or outside anymore ☹️
It seems like the cables weren’t put back on to the backside of the door panel
@@MTParadise 🤦🏾♂️ dammit, I heard something click or fall while I was putting the door back on but assumed it was one of the plastic clips and was like whatever. It must’ve been one of those cables coming undone 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
I did this now when I installed the door handle af te r I wrapped it it was just jammed and now the door is locked and I don’t know what to do or who to contact for help any suggestions?
After I wrapped mine there was still plenty of room for the handles to move around. Are you able to go in through another door and open it from the inside? Maybe take it apart to see if it is lined up properly
Hey bro I had my door panel removed and now my remote start doesn’t work any help
That’s really weird. It shouldn’t have anything to do with that. Mine still worked even while my door panel was off. Maybe something else was touched like a wire under the dash or fuse. Hopefully it’s just bad timing with the battery in the remote
