Spider-Man: The Series | Smallville Style [Season 1]

- A couple things to cover here. For starters, I went as early as I possibly could in these actors’ careers to find films of them from their youth so I could visually portray my collaborator's emphasis on character growth through the different eras of life. As the series progresses, so will the characters, and each of them will develop into their iconic looks with time. I’d also like to note that some of the cast will either take a break from a season to prevent it from becoming stale with repeated arcs/story beats, or the more unfortunate route being that...well, you’ll just have to see what happens. This will result in different cast lineups every season, whether that be drastic or minor. Regarding the music, we agreed that ‘How to Save a Life’ by The Fray, while being an accurate depiction of Peter’s guilt and a fitting song for the themes of the show, is not in everyone’s best taste, as it is a very specific genre of music that doesn’t exactly appeal to everyone.

Nah bro. Those CW shows used to hit so different. My mom has the box sets for Smallville, One Tree Hill, Gilmore Girls, and Supernatural. Every holliday where siblings all go back to her house we end up watching like 3/4 of one of the shows because they play non stop between the holiday movies and music. 😁😁😁

Pretty much a Spider-Man version of Smallville, chronicling his career as Spider-Man from his teens to the man we know today.

I kinda think maybe the pilot episode would probably deal with introducing the main cast and core concepts. Then from their, the first two maybe three episodes could deal with Peter trying to find a job in the chaos of hunting down The Vulture. But, to be honest the season one promo gave me the impression that the pilot would end with Peter deciding to become Spider-Man. As opposed to Peter already stopping crime.
Mark Hamon as George Stacy is hands down the most perfect casting choice.
