Please share the link above with your social group, I really need all the help I can get, and good will. Thank you.
Finally I fixed my Artillery Sidewinder x1 to stop displaying the error heating failed system stopped, Initially I wanted to install a .6 mm nozzle which loosened the heat block from the heat break and the plastic started oozing in between the heatbreak and heating block. I attempted to fix the leaky heartbreak but the 3d printer could not read the temperature. Ordered new parts and thermistor and still the thermistor would not read the temperature. Found online to test the heating bed and the nozzle separately for temperature runaway protection, and if both separately cause the same message "Error heating failed system stopped" then a sidewinder x1 motherboard change will be required to fix it. But the pinouts for the sidewinder x1 motherboard are not easy to find.

My first problem ever with the Sidewinder was that it started heating up the Nozzle when I turned it on. I told the customer service my problem and they too send me a new bord.
I just found your video as I got the same error message for my hotend. I tried turning it on and off again but it didn't work as well as checking the cables.
Somehow my printer fixed itself. I wanted to try heating up the Nozzle so I had the exact error message to report and it just started heating as normal. I hope it stays that way.

On mine the sensor was not working, and a new Motherboard fixed it.

Thanks for the Video. Just encountered the Same issue. Did you had to flash the firmware after replacing the card?

      I do not remember.

You can ask support for that or actually get the firmware from artillery and flash it yourself.

There are a lot of issues that can lead to this error. In my case it was the thermistor that seemed out of place. I can't say that telling people that the issue is the motherboard is a public service. That's like someone saying their car displays an error message on the panel, and you say "you must replace your entire engine".

It is in the video Thumbnails that if s not the thermistor could be the motherboard. I think anyone would change the thermistor immediately.

I’ve had my new Sidewinder X1 for almost 3weeks and tonight while making a 24 hour print it has thrown the same error. When I received the printer I couldn’t print much because the glass bed had a significant dip towards the center. They are in the midst of sending another bed, but now I guess I’ll be reaching out to get a mother board now. I want to be excited about this good looking printer but if I’m honest it’s a pain in the ass. I would have purchased something else had I known it would be this unreliable.

I am truly sorry about your experience with the 3D printer. My bed has a slight dip in the center. I noticed that as well. Yea That error is quite frustrating. It took me a while until I figured it out. But I did reach in facebook groups to get confirmation to my suspicions, and then I reached out to support.

Thank you for making this video! My Artillery Sidewinder X1 v4 keeps throwing thermal runaway errors on both the heatbed and the hot end. I've had the printer for just over a year and this just started happening. This information will help me decide what to do next. Sounds like I need to replace the motherboard then?

That was my way to fix the issue. I purchased two motherboards just in case I damage one I still have a spare. Mine was still warrantied and support sent me a replacement one but I did not wait for them I purchased two as i figured out is the motherboard. I use new thermistors and with new thermistors i would get the temp runaway protection. I hope you re-sat the wires and everything before making the decision to go for a new motherboard. support was really helpful and they sent pictures for me to check is the harness that connects to the extruder might have a pin bent and that may not connect properly not allowing the thermistor to read. but if you have the bed as well that goes into runaway protection without heating the nozzle than it is mot likely the motherboard. There is plastic glue to secure the wires properly that is how i could not figure it out if the 3 wires are properly connected, because they came out with the plastic and i did not know precisely where they came from. Also I did find the motherboard info on another youtube video. but I doublechecked on Facebook groups before buying the motherboard. I hope you fix yours soon.

On my Sidewinder X1 the cable from the heating bed came out of the case. So I opend the bottom plate an secured the cable from the inside with cable ties. Seems to fix my problem for now.

I have the same issue with my old artillery, does anyone knows if there is a way to repair the component on the board that cause this problem? i have been told the only solution is to replace the entire motherboard.

    • @RoamingInterests
      @RoamingInterests  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

yea replacing the board and uploading the precompile firmware from artillery or buying the board from them unless you still have the warranty. or buy a newer board

Is your test print on Thingiverse? Wouldn't mind giving it a try.

Here I just published the tetrahex - you need to scale it down. it is quite large. www.thingiverse.com/thing:4775293

@@RoamingInterests Sorry, I got slammed, I've actually printed this (without resizing it down any) in PLA and PETG. Granted, I hadn't dialed in the PETG temps though and it was a new roll that I hadn't printed with yet. So, the PETG bridging was a bit ugly. Will probably send you an email with a link to the photos, didn't see any other way in TH-cam to direct message you.

I am sorry to hear you got a bad one. Did you figure it out what was the main issue you had with it? I have been saying for a while getting a budget 3d printer has a high percentage of luck factor. I have been dealing with a few issues myself but compared with other printers I dealt with seems to get the job done.

I just bought a used one that the Owner says it will randomly throw a Heater 0 error and stops the print. I am excited to work on this X1. I currently have a X1 and X2 and absolutely love these printers. I was thinking of going ahead and buying a 32 bit motherboard but still unsure of the advantages of the 32 versus 16. Thanks for this video!
