Something I noticed is that the head is actually the slightly more rounded version from the G1 season 1 cartoon rather than the more blocky head of the G1 movie.

@heroicnonsense1 my legacy g1 optimus prime finaly came its has stiff joints but its good and I'm saving up for when the pre order of age of the primes megatronus prime comes out
@ yeah megatronus looks great. I wonder if he’ll be a bit taller than the megatrons of that mold. I plan on getting him too. What about the constructicons - going to get them? I preordered amine already - had to get from a different third party bc Pulse sold out so quickly!

Earthrise was great during its time (minus the trailer), but glad to hear that you made the move to SS86 OP because he really is like you now know such an awesome figure! Right up there as a mini-Masterpiece imo! I bet you wonder how you ever held off now that you have him, right? 😉
Not my cup of tea. It’s hard to go to that from SS86 OP! For one it’s too small. It also seems cheaper in a way. I am hoping the other releases from that line are better and more in line with the SS86 line and other recent ones. I’d love to see that car ground soldier in the style of runamuck/runabout for example. There could be some really good hidden gems from that line so we’ll see! How about you?
@heroicnonsense1 I think I agree wholeheartedly. I and many others were expecting the devastation line would be repaints of figures like the earthrise coneheads and such. I was hoping to get a cell shaded kingdom mirage but if they're all gonna be these new molds with worse engineering than what came before I might avoid the line entirely.
Agreed…I’m hoping some retools of better figures or at least some of the new designs being nicer. So far - not very confident! We’ll have to wait and see…separately - if they make nemesis prime or any alternate version of SS86 OP - are you going to get those? I hope they do at least one repaint with the trailer…

Yes! I had recorded it already and only realized afterwards - I wrote the correction in the info section rather than re-record 😂 good lesson for next time to check everything! Luckily Siege is generally the same size as Earthrise though…
Its been years since this has been announced and most people dont have it yet. Depending where you sre in the world retailers dont even have these in stocks. And when they do they get scalped. Hasbro distribution sucks. CALLING OUT THE PEOPLE THAT PURCHASE SEVERAL COPIES FOR THEMSELVES TOO.
I hear ya. I recently missed the GI Joe classified Nemesis Immortal even though I was on right at the time it was released on Hasbro Pulse, same with the new constructicons though a friend was able to grab me Nemesis and I found the constructicons on another site. Most of the time I try to be on as soon as a figure is released and have multiple sites open of retailers who are selling it just so I don’t miss it - it’s extremely stressful. I hope you’re able to get it. I feel BigBadToyStore usually gets them for the US and Toy Snowman for Canada and have them for a while up for preorder/purchase.

I pushed off this figure for a while thinking I'd be content with earthrise but now that I have it, the 86 has to be my favorite figure
