I picked up a base black H6 (no rgb) and I'm replacing the fans (and filling it) with Coller Master mobius fans. Should be a massive jump from the NZXT fans air flow and static pressure.

Dumb question but there's nothing to stop someone getting the rgb variant of this case and replacing the fans at a later time right?

Im pretty sure you can do that - I just ordered a new pc with this case and i'm planning to replace the fans :-)

Hey, I want to put the Lain Li SL-inf on the bottom - what exactly did you cut off to make it fit?

Just the plastic of the Lian Li fan connector, the bulky one, and just used Kapton tape to tape the PCB that connects to the fan

Honestly I've been trying to find a good full glass panel with no bar on the middle case so I could see everything in my pc. I'm interested in the phanteks nv5 however that is too big for my liking. Was wondering if i should instead get an h6 flow instead.

I wasn’t to sure on exactly what you had to do with the uni fans, did you completely cut off cover that goes over the cable?

Yes that is exactly what I did, there are 4 tiny screws that hold it place, removed them, cover goes off but you still need to cut it to release it from the cable itself

If you’re using the RGB header on your motherboard you have to control them from your motherboard settings. If you’re using a NZXT controller you have to control them from the CAM software.

It will do fine with included fans. No need for extra fan on the rear side. If going with AIO they come with fans for the top. If going with tower cooler then no extra fans needed.

According to the internal nzxt airflow test, there's:
35°c for gpu - 42°c for cpu = (included 3 fans + cpu cooler)
33°c for gpu - 44°c for cpu = (full fan set up)
worst full fan set up cpu temps because of top fan pulling out fresh air from the front top one before air reach the cpu
so maybe invest those extra fans on a better ram or storage and later upgrade on aio or full fans at least for the looks (depending on your build) c:
