Good grief mate 20hours per video?! I usually spend between 5-10 hours depending on how shooting goes and the difficulty of what I am explaining. I am happy that I found you so early and have gotten the chance to watch you grow. It has been a wild couple of years and heres to more mate! Be well mate and don't forget to have fun!
Yeah, just the Scripting process is like a 6 hour process, and recording my audio separately to the video means that's a 2 hour addition, plus the 4 to 6 of recording the video. Then there's all the editing. So 20 hours a video is a pretty conservative estimate honestly. Thank you for sticking with me all this time.
@@PerspectiveEnd Your welcome mate. :) I enjoy your "Perspective". lol You have helped me to steer clear of many a terrible figure. I hope my channel has helped you from time to time as well.
1, Once again, happy 2-year anniversary. 2, I haven't seen much of BW Season 2 (I stopped watching after Dinobot's death for a while because emotional damage), but I LOVED the Transmetal designs, and Megatron's is my favorite. I'll definitely pick this up if it gets re-released. Maybe it'll even be my first third-party figure.
I’d love to see how they handle Rampage with how the treads work. I need a Rampage for my BW display, and if it’s the same size as that figure, it’d probably scale well with the Kingdom lineup
7:00 not sure if everyone already mentioned this, but this part is meant to be the projector that he uses to show the original decepticon megatron's massage to ravage. That's it, nothing special. Lol
Yes sir it's been a good 2 years in deed. Dam it feels like yesterday when I first saw the toyworld devastator video which was I'm my recommendation. Anywho keep going on what you do because we enjoy it. :)
Dude You're nearly at 1 Million subs, there's no doubt you'll make it even if you ask for subscribers. I obviously didn't have the OG Beast wars toys but it looks like they started it from scratch.
Congratulations oñ your current success with your channel. I stumbled upon it when I was looking for reviews on takara's dai atlas and after that I subscribed. You're one of the few that actually interacts with us and your content is informative, insightful and hilarious 😅. Also I want this figure. This looks fantastic!!! Hopefully Hasbro gives us this.
So, Transmetal Megatron is my favorite Megatron design, and I really want to get a figure of it. I’m very tempted to pick this up now, but I don’t know if I’ll have enough funds for it. I’m very happy for everyone who does get this; it looks absolutely glorious.
It's a shame I find out about this figure when it's now impossible to find for sale. I love transmetal Megatron. My favorite of his 3 designs. I hope we either get a legacy version or a reissue of the original toy
The part with the Golden disc fragment for his tail is supposed to be the camera where he showed Ravage the Video of Megatron that made him join his team of predacons. I may suggest a Part seperator to open it to get the camera out
You forgot to mention the best benefit about this figure. It's a Transmetal Megatron that won't break due to Gold Plastic Syndrome. Also the head in his chest is supposed to be his Dino head. It's supposed to be in-laid to give it a techno-organic look. It's also sorta a similar situation to Dinobots chest head. As both are work arounds to achieve particular looks, while dealing with the technology limitations of the time.
Its not supposed to be his dino head. Its just a design choice. I went back and watched a clip from the original cartoon and Transmetal Megatrons’s dino head goes onto his back underneath his turbines in robot mode.
Ah yes, this version is not gripped with a lethal disease. I don't think that's true, because in the show it always clearly went onto his back, and they look NOTHING alike.
@@PerspectiveEnd A good point, but I would counter by saying you must look at it from 2 perspectives. The perspectives of the toy designers and the show runners. From the toy designers point of view, the head chest is making use of a faux part to communicate that part of the Beast head forms the robots chest. A case of trying to display alt-mode parts in the robot mode, in order to communicate some interchange. The faux part is also a way to communicate this interchange while keeping the cost down and the design simple. As desing the head two integrate into the chest like that would be complicated, and maybe risk the structural integrity of the figure. So then it is much easier for the toy designer to simply hide the real Dino head behind the figure in robot mode and cover it with the turbines back kibble. Now, from the show runners perspective, they need to ensure the design on screen is as accurate as possible to the toy the show is trying to sell. The thing to know about season 2 of Beast Wars (which introduced Transmetals) compared to season one is the newer designs of the characters are far more toy accurate compared to the designs in season one. This likely due to the fact the show runners only had early concept designs for the characters during the development of the first season and had to find ways to make them work, since they had deadlines and likely assumed Hasbro wouldn't alter the designs as they finalized the toys. However, the reality of manufacturing toys required those designs to change slightly when they hit retail. This leads to a weird situation where many of the transformations in season one look more organic than the season two transformations of the techno organic Transmetal characters. Since characters in season one like Dinobot have transformations where their cg model is warped in places to hide the obvious object clipping that is being done to emulate transforming from one form to another, as the show runners simply didn't know how the final Dinobot toy would transform during that stage of show production. This was not the case in season two. As the show runners likely had access to near final prototypes of the toys that they were expected to advertise via the show. This meant rather than guess how the toys transform, they could just see for themselves how the toys transform and make the cg models emulate that structure. Which would be easy enough as the toys are 3D objects, and the cg models in the show are designed to emulate 3D objects. This became a win for the show runners as they could spend less time guessing and more time doing which likely helped with deadlines. This also meant they likely didn't worry much about if there was some incongruity between how a character looked vs how they transformed. As their task was to be toy accurate not worry if the designs make sense. So that's my reasoning for the Dino chest claim. The toy designer wanted the dinosaur head as a part of the robot mode and used faux parts to achieve that while keeping costs down even if it comprised the design. The show runners emulated that compromised design when developing the second season as it gave them two benefits. Removing guess work and making the character as accurate as possible to the toy they were advertising. Sorry for the long essay. I just felt it important that I explained the reasoning of why the design was not changed much when going from toy design to character design. I'll also add that I don't have all the facts on this matter so some of this info could be wrong as it is mostly speculation. If anyone has any information that can correct any of my claims if they happen to be wrong, then I am open to feedback. Edit: I should add one clarification to this that I didn't add initially because I got wrapped up in writing the text. The head piece in Megatron's chest is supposed to be his Dino head, but it is also supposed to be a warped version of said head. The point of the Transmetals in Beast Wars is they are a mutation of organic and mechanical. Their mutated metal is suppose to have some organic properties. From this we can assume their metal skin also now has organic properties. Organic skin is more flexible than metal being able to compress and stretch. So that likely means the skin of the Transmetals can also compress and stretch, warping parts of their bodies to make new shapes. For Megatron this meant his Dino head warps to become apart of his chest while still keeping his chest in a humanoid shape. Which results in a cool mutant like look for the Dino head chest. This is what I believe the toy designer was trying to communicate to the end user while working within their budget limitations. Sorry for making my essay even longer 🙃
Welcome to another Marcy reviews. Today we review the cooler Skids, Burnout. Burnout is literally just a cooler version of skids, his head sculpt is amazing to me and the auto bot logo not being outlined in white making it blend into the back makes him look more menacing and I love it. His transformation is just skids and since I love skids transformation I love it. The altmode is skids but black, it’s good. This concludes another Marcy reviews
As someone who really likes the first transmetal Megatron design, I hope to get this figure one day even if I don't collect masterpiece style figures (just yet). Plus this looks to be a better alternative to getting an original transmetal in decent condition. And lastly huge congrats on 8k so far perspective, ever since I found your channel from the cybertronian bumblebee review (the space manray one), you've been one of the latest reviewers I gladly watch or binge watch from time to time to either hear about a new figure or to just to be entertained or share an opinion or two, here's to a bigger sub count in the future and many more happy and satisfied viewers and subs! Now please get some rest. :)
Hey is there a better time to start than with this thing? Thank you so much. Really? It feels like so much more recently I started seeing your comments pop up. Thank you, I won't be taking a break but I will be taking it easier.
Hey man, It’s really awesome how dedicated you are to your channel, I really like getting all these consistent videos from you! But if it’s taking a toll on you personally, by all means, take a break. I (and hopefully everyone else) won’t complain.
the panel on the disk fragment flips up from the front like mp laserbeak's camera and is a projector , it was used to display a hologram of the contents of the discs and the disc fragment
Always loved transmetal megatron. Especially because he’s the only version of him to have all of his limbs without a dinosaur or dragon head or a weird furry body that I don’t like to think about.
@@PerspectiveEnd I love that you review with 100% your opinion. Other guys kinda glance over issues but you just call out things like with the excessive paint on that one devastater you have. You will call a bad figure bad without trying to justify it, and I think that makes you amazing.
I preordered mine and i`m stoked after having Skateboard gorilla, Leopard commander and their ravage. its apparently supposed to arrive in October. I have seen a number of people on other platforms with parts broken though which makes me concerned. One persons head balljoint was outright snapped off and quite a few apparently have had the Strut where the front wheel of the roller skates somehow snap off. That portion where the Spring is mounted is actually just a plastic cylinder and a small one at that. I`m thinking ether the spring might be putting too much tension on it or maybe they have been pressing down on the figure with the skates deployed making that part snap. I guess i just have to pray that it comes intact and i use kid gloves.
This is the last video of yours I'll he here to watch the day it drops as I'm off to TFN on Friday and not back until very early Monday morning, but I'm excited to see what the new ideas for a Friday video brings!!!
Congrats on two years! 🎂 Are there any other beast wars reissues you'd like to see (other than characters or forms that appeared in the show)? Personally, I'd like to see Transmetal Terrorsaur, because he looks cool, or Torca, because GPS ruined the figure.
Congrats man I’ve watched your channel for a while now and it’s been amazing to see you improve and grow in subs and content. Congratulations 🎉. Also on a semi related note I am hoping hasbro does characters like this Megatron with the excellent chrome or metallic paints.
I must confess that even though I am a G1er and not a Beast Wars, nor Transmetal child by any means (I was a teenager not interested in TFs or any toys by then), this figure is gorgeous to me... The first review I saw of it leaved me with a dropped jaw... The details, the paint, the quality; this figure is everything that a masterpiece should be!
@@monster-mecha_enthusiast_2002 no, I mean, it's just that by the moment BWs was out, I was thinking about dating chicks and skating instead of playing with TFs or watching cartoons you know... I was busy with grown man stuff! 😅
Have you tried going back and watching the show, Everyone I've ever convinced to do that was happy with the decision to do it. It's a Great show. It's all on youtube for Free in 4K. And yeah it's a Gorgeous show.
I gotta say it kinda hurts to see all these youtubers sub counts just exploding after they've been on the platform for a year or so. You've been here for less than half the time I have( I believe I'm nearing 5 years) and your sub count is more than 10 times mine. But don't take this the wrong way, I wholeheartedly support your content and enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work.
I have always loved this design, but I have a guilty pleasure for the season 1 design, and also if beast wars took place on cybertron, what would you think the maximals and predacons should transform into, and would like to see a toy line based on this concept. Sorry for this comment being long.
Guilty Pleasure? GUILTY PLEASURE! The original Design also kicked, ass what's guilty about it. Cheetory would probably be a car or mortorcycle, Tigatron definitely a car. Rhinox would be a Semi. Primal either a Pickup, or Helicopter. Rattrap would probably be a moped. Airazor would be a jet. And Dinobot would probably be a tricked out Hog. As for the preds, ask me again in another video, gotta try to drive that engagement.
@@PerspectiveEnd I meant to say season 1 beast megs is a guilty pleasure for me, because I actually love his season 1 design more than his season 2 design, but the design I hate most is his dragon mode.
This is definitely the best transmetal on the market and I hope transarts does a tarantulus, depth charge, or rampage next cause 1 I don’t see hasbro doing those characters anytime soon and 2 ooga booga big chrome crab be cool on desk
I’ve been watching you for a little bit and your videos are entertaining I do have a wall of Megatron I do have that Megatron but I’m not going to lie my favorite Megatron is the mega tank
I finally got the legacy Motormaster and I love it. Some people don’t like calling it commander class, but it’s better if you look at is as commander class menasor with stunticon DLC
That’s a beautiful looking figure. TransArts are definitely nailing the TransMetal forms of the characters. Makes me wonder how they’ll do the 2nd TransMetal form of Beast Wars Megatron. Although I’ve heard the one from Jiang Xing is a pretty solid figure that looks challenging to top. Heard of that 3rd party Beast Wars Megatron figure before?
WingedDragon is extremely impressive but his main downsides are a very high cost (>$200) and the fact there's nothing for him to interact with that's the appropiate size.
@@enrique6335 WingedDragon appears to be of standard price of most MP figures. And it can interact with other MP scaled TransMetal figures, official or not. So I don't think that's that big of a problem.

@@monster-mecha_enthusiast_2002 damn, I almost forgot there were douchebags on here too. So, how's your day going?
Thank you so much. Glad you and I don't always have to agree to enjoy each other's perspective.
You make my Day about 100% Better.
I hope my channel has helped you from time to time as well.
ah a transmetal megatron for the two year anniversary. an excellent choice yessss
Well it wasn't Transmetal Megatron for the two year, but it was a Megatron either way.
Thank you so much sorry for the late response.
Dinobots death is truly that PREMIUM emotional damage.
This figure really puts the alpha in, alpha and omega, the beginning and the end, that which is, which was, and is yet to come
I'm not sure what that means but OK!
I liked that bit of stop motion close to the end it was a nice touch 👌🏼
Thank you. I always try to do a little of that for BM Megatron, just to do my impression.
@@PerspectiveEnd yeah I like that
Congrats on two years and 8.5K subscribers. Here's to 20K in 20 months.
Thank you so much!
speaking of taking the original moulds and upgrading them.
the untapped market such a line would provide for an mp style animated line.
I’d love to see how they handle Rampage with how the treads work. I need a Rampage for my BW display, and if it’s the same size as that figure, it’d probably scale well with the Kingdom lineup
I hope they also go into the toy only Transmetal Characters cause otherwise they are quickly going to Run out of Transmetal figures to work on.
Fitting this is the first vid with stop motion in it, given how many of your follower shout outs are stop motion animators. Well played good sir.
I did a Stop Motion in other BW Megatron Reviews.
@@PerspectiveEnd fair enough.
2 YEARS??? ALREADY??? God damn time flies fast!
I know right! Also saw one of your Videos got 17K views congrats man!
@@PerspectiveEnd Thank you so much!
7:00 not sure if everyone already mentioned this, but this part is meant to be the projector that he uses to show the original decepticon megatron's massage to ravage. That's it, nothing special. Lol
I think one person did mention that but it may have been through the Discord. It's just too bad it won't pop out on mine.
Want to get this one. Finally a transmetal megatron that doesn't fall apart like the original
Indeed, GPS you evil bitch.
Yes sir it's been a good 2 years in deed. Dam it feels like yesterday when I first saw the toyworld devastator video which was I'm my recommendation. Anywho keep going on what you do because we enjoy it. :)
Thank you so much. Man it was forever ago that I made that now.
It would be cool if they ever did this again one day. And I'm glad to have you around.
So, Transmetal Megatron is my favorite Megatron design, and I really want to get a figure of it. I’m very tempted to pick this up now, but I don’t know if I’ll have enough funds for it. I’m very happy for everyone who does get this; it looks absolutely glorious.
I hope you can find the funds at some point.
From the first time you replied, I knew you had the "touch". For real thank you for all the content. Get some rest my friend
Happy to have done it, and thank you so much.
9:41 as a stop motion animator, that was done pretty well
Which is funny because bullshitted that so hard. That's just 3 frames that I used over and over.
@@PerspectiveEnd I reuse frames all the time it’s all good
It's a shame I find out about this figure when it's now impossible to find for sale. I love transmetal Megatron. My favorite of his 3 designs. I hope we either get a legacy version or a reissue of the original toy
A masterpieces worthy of the name masterpiece without being a masterpiece
Indeed.
Megatron is the best transmetal design, no debate, no questions. Glad to see he finally has a good figure to represent him.
What about Tarantulas?
@@PerspectiveEnd Distant Second.
Happy two year Anniversary
Thank you so much!
The part with the Golden disc fragment for his tail is supposed to be the camera where he showed Ravage the Video of Megatron that made him join his team of predacons. I may suggest a Part seperator to open it to get the camera out
Interesting. I see.
Glad you’re happy 😊
Thank you!
Isn't Burnout supposed to be a Woman?
@@PerspectiveEnd I don’t know. Now I feel guilty for misgendering it (I think I’m projecting).
it was an honor being here today
Glad to be here with you.
Hey man, It’s really awesome how dedicated you are to your channel, I really like getting all these consistent videos from you! But if it’s taking a toll on you personally, by all means, take a break. I (and hopefully everyone else) won’t complain.
Well I won't be taking a break, but taking it easier will be nice.
the panel on the disk fragment flips up from the front like mp laserbeak's camera and is a projector , it was used to display a hologram of the contents of the discs and the disc fragment
I see, I couldn't get it to move out but that's something like what I thought. Thanks for the tip.

Noice, I love the Transmetal forms in Beast Wars, Optimus Primal's Transmetal design's my favorite :)
As an adult I miss the original forms, as a Child... OOOOhhhhh Shiny.
i think that bit on the golden-disk tail piece is supposed to lift up like in the show, where it projected the OG megatron's message from
Yeah, mines stuck, thanks for the heads up.
Always loved transmetal megatron. Especially because he’s the only version of him to have all of his limbs without a dinosaur or dragon head or a weird furry body that I don’t like to think about.
Yeah this is only the non Crippled version of Megatron.
Best TH-camr on earth don’t try and change my mind
Hey man, I love you content. You have a way of approaching the figures that I love. I hope you keep growing steady or better.
Well thank you so much, but what is this way I approach figures that you love?
@@PerspectiveEnd I love that you review with 100% your opinion. Other guys kinda glance over issues but you just call out things like with the excessive paint on that one devastater you have. You will call a bad figure bad without trying to justify it, and I think that makes you amazing.
I do mostly use your videos as a podcast, the visuals I’ve always considered an extra
That's what I was thinking. Probably more prevalent than I expect.
Man, Beast Wars Megatron would be the absolute best dad to have as a kid. He would never be able to tell you no.
He says No 54 times in the show. As opposed to 166 yesses.
You knew that off the top of your head, didn't you
I preordered mine and i`m stoked after having Skateboard gorilla, Leopard commander and their ravage.
its apparently supposed to arrive in October.

Don't even play along, but thank you.
Congrats on two years! 🎂
Are there any other beast wars reissues you'd like to see (other than characters or forms that appeared in the show)? Personally, I'd like to see Transmetal Terrorsaur, because he looks cool, or Torca, because GPS ruined the figure.
Congrats man I’ve watched your channel for a while now and it’s been amazing to see you improve and grow in subs and content. Congratulations 🎉. Also on a semi related note I am hoping hasbro does characters like this Megatron with the excellent chrome or metallic paints.
I don't think they are going to, the TM2 Megatron kind of proves that, but we can both hope.
And thank you so much!
Look I know you're just saying that to hurt my feelings?
But as a Beast Wars fan, I'm not offened by your petty G1-ness lol 😂
@@monster-mecha_enthusiast_2002 no, I mean, it's just that by the moment BWs was out, I was thinking about dating chicks and skating instead of playing with TFs or watching cartoons you know... I was busy with grown man stuff! 😅
Have you tried going back and watching the show, Everyone I've ever convinced to do that was happy with the decision to do it. It's a Great show. It's all on youtube for Free in 4K.

@@PerspectiveEnd I've seen some chapters of Beast Wars and I like 'em but the whole furry animals TFs concept is not my thing I guess
I gotta say it kinda hurts to see all these youtubers sub counts just exploding after they've been on the platform for a year or so. But don't take this the wrong way, I wholeheartedly support your content and enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work.
For me it only hurts when it's like "You made the account and got like 50K before uploading your first video didn't you."
4:03 I think that's meant to be the dino head it doesn't really work but I could be wrong
But in the show it clearly flips around to his back.
This does look fucking phenomenal
It's so pretty.
What do you think about a movie about the Rainmakers ?

I hope they also go into the toy only characters cause they don't have a lot more room to go if they don't. Not too many TM figures in the show.

Man I don't see how anyone can argue it's not a Commander, it makes perfect sense as one.
Also he should have that weird, retractable skeletal tentacle thingy he used to swipe G1 Megs Spark.
That would be a cool addition.
@@PerspectiveEnd What even was that unsettling thing supposed to be? Megatron's spinal cord mutated from Transmetalization?
It a shame it doesn't have the rubber ducky from that one episode

I always thought that it was Dino head on his chest
Nope, you actively see it go into his back in the show.
I think you were right about your prediction Re kingdom. You look at inferno and tarantulas and transmetal 2 megatron and they are clearly better than rhinox and scorponok. They definitely tried to cram those figures.
Also I bought scorponok for half price and he’s alright, I’m happy with him for what I paid
I also tried to find tigatron aka the figure of the year since he was 15 aud off but all I found was just rhinox. He clogged up all the voyager figures the store had. Anyway enjoy your day, and get some rest if you need :)

Transarts is kind of an unsung hero of the 3P industry, mostly because of how obsessed wirh G1 it is I guess.
