I love it. I've always loved the lord if the rings hobbit homes. I know it's not the same but it reminds me of that same feel. So cozy. I did check your schedule for booking. Definitely not this year as my year is already planned via work schedule. My vacation time doesn't fit your schedule this year. We would have loved it! Its a lovely place for sure.

My Grandma's old home. I have many great memories of this property, having lived here for 6 years and am thrilled it is being loved in the way it deserves. I'm happy you feel the home is alive too. Really like what you did with the garage area (Now a master suite) The glamping backyard is epic. May you find all the blessings of the hidden valley.

The atonement for it is by feeding ten needy people from the average of what you feed your families, or by clothing them, or by freeing a slave. Anyone who lacks the means shall fast for three days. That is the atonement for breaking your oaths when you have sworn them. So keep your oaths. Thus God makes clear His Revelations to you, that you may be grateful.

I took my partner Schiff here for a surprise 4th anniversary trip! They were wonderful. I sent a bunch of pictures and twine out in advance and they strung them all up for us before we arrived! Schiff couldn't believe their eyes :)

You would love the old lighthouse where my painter parents live. The lighthouse is located on a small island in the Mediterranean Sea. It's absolutely gorgeous with just a population of 30 - ish people who are adorable. It's like I'm visiting some old little salty and sandy world in the summer. So strange. But absolutely beautiful, it's keeping my favorite memories of my childhood.

I have lived the past 28 years with severe chronic nerve pain wracking my body every minute..of EVERY DAY…and I have come to the conclusion that I desperately NEED to go someplace (like THIS) for some quiet (possibly) REST for my broken nervous system and body. This place feels so ideal as a very, very QUIET, peaceful, restful, indescribably fantastical creative place for me to rest my broken body and my super tired out mind.
THIS is my goal for this next summer!!! I absolutely HAVE to stay here before I’m expired. I think Washington state is so gorgeous too so what a treat this will be!! The last time I was even on a trip to the mall was in 2010. This is 2022. This is how chronic pain and illness can shut your life down. Thank you for this video or I never would have come across this awesome home!!! ❤ 🤗 See you next summer Snow White home!! 😁
It's like a movie set! The forest itself looks magical, too. The original owner and builder must be an amazing individual we could all learn from. I appreciate Liz's tour--her knowledge and passion show that she's a fit owner and manager of this dreamy property. And from that I know we truly can manifest our dreams.

I remember seeing video footage years ago showing this home being built. Had interviews with the builder/designer. Might be on utube somewhere (??) Going to search this out....

I remember when this home was on the market when we were looking for a home. I am so happy to see a family enjoying and loving the home. It's definitely right out of a children's storybook and even reminds me of a home from The Hobbit movie. Love how you decided to do the AirB&B so people can appreciate and experience your lovely home. I may have to check it out one day! 🙂

40. It is We who will inherit the earth and everyone on it, and to Us they will be returned.

52. And We called him from the right side of the Mount, and brought him near in communion.
53. And We granted him, out of Our mercy, his brother Aaron, a prophet.
54. And mention in the Scripture Ishmael. He was true to his promise, and was a messenger, a prophet.
55. And he used to enjoin on his people prayer and charity, and he was pleasing to his Lord.
56. And mention in the Scripture Enoch. He was a man of truth, a prophet.
57. And We raised him to a high position.
58. These are some of the prophets Allah has blessed, from the descendants of Adam, and from those We carried with Noah, and from the descendants of Abraham and Israel, and from those We guided and selected. Whenever the revelations of the Most Gracious are recited to them, they would fall down, prostrating and weeping.
59. But they were succeeded by generations who lost the prayers and followed their appetites. They will meet perdition.
60. Except for those who repent, and believe, and act righteously. These will enter Paradise, and will not be wronged in the least.
61. The Gardens of Eden, promised by the Most Merciful to His servants in the Unseen. His promise will certainly come true.
62. They will hear no nonsense therein, but only peace. And they will have their provision therein, morning and evening.
63. Such is Paradise which We will give as inheritance to those of Our servants who are devout.
64. “We do not descend except by the command of your Lord. His is what is before us, and what is behind us, and what is between them. Your Lord is never forgetful.”
65. Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them. So worship Him, and persevere in His service. Do you know of anyone equal to Him?
66. And the human being says, “When I am dead, will I be brought back alive?”
67. Does the human being not remember that We created him before, when he was nothing?
68. By your Lord, We will round them up, and the devils, then We will bring them around Hell, on their knees.
69. Then, out of every sect, We will snatch those most defiant to the Most Merciful.
70. We are fully aware of those most deserving to scorch in it.
71. There is not one of you but will go down to it. This has been an unavoidable decree of your Lord.
72. Then We will rescue those who were devout, and leave the wrongdoers in it, on their knees.
73. When Our clear revelations are recited to them, those who disbelieve say to those who believe, “Which of the two parties is better in position, and superior in influence?”

The builder of this home has a beautiful magical imagination. All of the dreaming, money, planning and hard work that went into this unique place. I know it must have broken their heart to sell it. How blessed and fortunate to pack your belongings and just move in. My imagination is in full bloom of the things I would do to make this place even more magical. The kids must love it here and I bet they have all kinds of friends who want to visit. Thank you for loving it I know it means a lot to the original owner/owners.

I saw the video for this house when it was empty and for sale. I was blown away by how magical it is. As a very young girl who loved (and believed!) stories about the fairies and goblins who lived in the woods, etc., living in that house would be an absolute dream. Kudos to Liz and Jacob who have done an amazing job with what they have done with the place. It would be very interesting to know more about the man who built it, and HOW he built it. Such an amazing house!

Over the last two years I have watched thousands of hours of TH-cam videos on almost every conceivable type of living. From boats, yachts, trains, mansions, plus on traveling the World. Enjoying cooking shows on all styles and types of cooking not to mention discovering undersea worlds in the abyss and the animals that surround us there and on land.
I also find plays, musicians, performances, favorite actors and magicians. My friends get upset with me for spending so much time on TH-cam.
I am disabled and it is doubtful that I will ever have the wealth nor the health to have the ability to see the amazing things I have seen.

Sooo stunning! My only gripe is that I wish the builder had left all the wood a natural finish instead of the super glossy finish it has now. But that’s just my personal preference. LOVE how the family decorated the space, it seems like they have made the space perfect for their family💕

When I was younger my mother was friends with the couple who created this exact cottage home. My mother's friend's use to run it as an Air Bnb. I have memories of my younger self running threw the cottage with my siblings and visiting on Easter, for a quite an enjoyable Easter egg hunt. Oh how the memories are rushing back.

I am a guy who has a huge affection for ultra modern homes and furniture, but after going on an Around The World Trip a while back and seeing the magnificent old world castles, houses (Some very similar to this one) and many other structures from a time period long ago I also began to have a great appreciation and love for those as well.
This house and the Air B&B accommodations they have made for others to be able to stay there and take in it's hand made beauty, along with the lush outdoor surroundings are really great.
I may even stay there myself sometime in the near future.
Tbank You for sharing this really whimsical house that transports you back to a time when technology wasn't even part of language yet.
Don't get me wrong, beacuse I love tech stuff, but there comes a time when you should just shut it off for a while and enjoy life for a period of time without it, and this is the perfect place to do that.

One can have their vehicle put on a boat and shipped from say Alaska to a Russian port such as Vladivostok. You would then meet at the port to fetch the van. From there, you can access the rest of Russia, Asia, Europe, etc. If one has the time, funds and patience, you can def travel the world by van and other supplemental means of transport when necessary.

As someone who loves taking little trips to airbnbs like this all the time, I loved the idea of the sauna for the tree house. I know a lot of people mentioned a little library or reading area, but I honestly think the sauna would draw in more vacationing customers.

I think the tree house would be great made up as a witch's, warlock hide away, it would fit the fairytale theme, put a little cauldron and books, old coloured bottles ect, so many things you could do with a magical theme... find a cpl of old straw brooms, to attach outside ect .Small herb garden outside even, spells need herbs, go nuts

Yes I like to see homes with character lots of tiny homes have cute storage and nooks but large homes can have character too it's practical if they have a large family most tiny homes would be too cramped children would only get a bunk not a room etc.

I first saw this house in one of first editions of a magazine about cottages. I live on the Olympic Peninsula, so it is very close to me. I also saw it when it was for sale. I really wanted it but realized it was too much work for me. My last house was too much for me. It’s good to know I can stay there for a short visit and for a short time pretend it’s mine. Loved it from the first time I saw it. I’m so happy it’s in good hands and will be well taken care of.

By accident, I came across this video in YT. I actually spent 1 night at their guess suite last fall, and I'd totally recommend it - it was a fantastic stay! The architecture and design is truly unique, and they have mindful details for decor around the room. Walking in the gardens and surroundings of the property is another perk that you get when you stay there, along with the grill and jacuzzi area. It was totally worthy, and a great experience for the eyes and the senses. It' so cool to see this house featured here! 🌳🏘🌲

You should Advertise as a Wedding Venue! WHAT A MAGICAL PLACE TO GET MARRIED! AND Have a unique and absolutely gorgeous honeymoon suite in the tree house! My granddaughter is getting married at the end of this year.. She would love to get married here!
I think the first thing that springs to mind about the tree house is how it resembles the Old Woman who lived in a Shoe's house. You could make it a bunk house for visiting children, so it lives up to the "had so many children" line. So you could make it look more like a boot and make a feature of it.
Such a wonderful home. Acquiring this home during covid had to have introduced a whole lot of fun in such difficult times. The very look of this home would make it fun to return to all the time.
In the intro it states they bought the house a few years ago, that would have been pre-covid, so its a bit confusing.

Even little old(er/ish) ladies recognize the home that they have been seeing their entire life. Even the saggy (looking) rooflines. What an amazing thing! Now (same house or is there similar around the globe somewhere?) I see what the inside looks like and it is better than I expected! Or hoped, maybe, as I had no expectations. Love the stairs and the rails and the stalactites and something else. And the bunks! What a FANTASTIC house!
Just saw this July 2022 and am blown away. First of all this couple are perfect. He is strikingly handsome and she beautiful. They fit this environment like they were meant for it. I imagine their children will never be happy anywhere else . So plan on having them home for a very long time .Luckily you have enough room to make this a family compound ,filled with children and grandchildren some day.Pure magic... literally what dreams are made of,

Well, some of the homes you featured before were way too crazy for my taste. But this one is just gorgeous. It was done very tastefully inside and out. Everything matches, very beautiful.

There's a fairy cottage-looking home in one of the neighborhoods within walking distance of my parents' home. It's not as set back within woods as your property; instead, it's part of a regular suburban neighborhood, but it looks like a fairy tale home from the outside. Just minus the Snow White woods, lol.
When I was a kid, my best friend and I would walk past it on our way to school, and we'd joke about one day we'd each find guys to marry and we'd all live together in that adorable cottage home. (Hey, as children, that made total sense to us, lol) Alas... I'm no longer that little kid and I don't get to live in that home, but it's still there and I love walking past it when I visit my parents, and I still dream about having a beautiful home of my own like that, or like yours, which is so magical and fun and cozy. Would definitely love to stay in your Airbnb someday! It has such a cool vibe, as do both of you! ☺
Reminds me of the old Fable cottage from Vancouver Island. The owner built it as his family’s dream home located on the beachfront in Cordova Bay. Sadly, they became bombarded by hundreds then thousands of curious visitors and it became so intrusive they had to leave the home and made it into a tourist attraction.
The Fable Cottage was located at the end of the road where I was born and raised! I grew up loving to visit the house and beautifully manicured gardens. I actually became a tour guide when I was sixteen years old and would tell hundreds of tourists from all over the world about the original owner and his family and how the house was constructed. The tour included explaining all the features of the home as I showed them around and gave a little history of the area too.
They added mechanical Nomes along a beautifully manicured garden path that told a story of how the house was built from the trees on the property etc. These little Nomes gave it all a real magical feeling.
The property eventually became too valuable to keep as a tourist attraction and they dismantled the Nomes and sold the house for a dollar on the condition that the new owner move the house to another location.
A man purchased it and moved it to Denman Island and last I heard he is continuing to put the house together and finish it. The grounds where the Fable cottage used to sit is now a development of new houses called the Fable Estates.
I will send a link to a Facebook post I found with photos of the souvenir book they sold in the gift shop. It’s got pictures of the house and the grounds. (As a side note on the last page of the book there is a wedding photo in the shape of a heart of my older sister Susan and her husband Grant!)
Absolutely magical home, guys! I just adore it. Immediately when I saw the Tree Fort a voice in my mind yelled,” SAUNA!” Imagine stumbling upon a Smokey/steaming tree in the middle of a cold,rainy day and then someone steps out of it and smiles at you. 🤗🤗
Have you considered creating an Atrium within the home? I also thought about painting or creating a faux stone/pebble floor throughout? Even a faux moss or grassy floor in the bathrooms, maybe? The ideas just came flooding into my mind throughout your tour. That wonderful home is indeed alive and organic. Very excited to see it, guys! Thank you so much for sharing this.

The Douglas fir with the fireplace built inside it would make an adorable, cozy little library. One or two club chairs, a few windows to help with air flow and maybe even a Mini Split to keep the air humidity free (for the books. 🤓). I would love to rent just that for a weekend!

Aloha, this reminds me of the A Frame home I had in Ocala, Florida on the outskirts of the Ocala National Forest. I had fixed it up so nicely and adored living there. As I got older and just couldn’t handle it alone any longer, I couldn’t believe how hard it was to sell! The Realtors and red tape agencies that have to inspect (criticize ) every nook and cranny. Believe me, EVERYTHING was up to Code. I poured my life and love and money into that house and was told,” It’s atypical.” So what? That’s what made it so special. The neighborhood Peacock would come by every night and nest in one of my trees.I miss that home so much but it was time to move on and the person who bought it for peanuts is really enjoying it now. I am very happy in my little Apt. in Hawaii 🏝

73. They disbelieve those who say, “God is the third of three.” But there is no deity except the One God. If they do not refrain from what they say, a painful torment will befall those among them who disbelieve.
74. Will they not repent to God and ask His forgiveness? God is Forgiving and Merciful.
75. The Messiah son of Mary was only a messenger, before whom other Messengers had passed away, and his mother was a woman of truth. They both used to eat food. Note how We make clear the revelations to them; then note how deluded they are.
76. Say, “Do you worship, besides God, what has no power to harm or benefit you?” But God: He is the Hearer, the Knower.
77. Say, “O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion beyond the truth; and do not follow the opinions of people who went astray before, and misled many, and themselves strayed off the balanced way.”
78. Cursed were those who disbelieved from among the Children of Israel by the tongue of David and Jesus son of Mary. That is because they rebelled and used to transgress.
79. They used not to prevent one another from the wrongs they used to commit. Evil is what they used to do.
80. You will see many of them befriending those who disbelieve. Terrible is what their souls prompts them to do. The wrath of God fell upon them, and in the torment they will remain.
81. Had they believed in God and the Prophet, and in what was revealed to him, they would not have befriended them. But many of them are immoral.
82. You will find that the people most hostile towards the believers are the Jews and the polytheists. And you will find that the nearest in affection towards the believers are those who say, “We are Christians.” That is because among them are priests and monks, and they are not arrogant.
83. And when they hear what was revealed to the Messenger, you see their eyes overflowing with tears, as they recognize the truth in it. They say, “Our Lord, we have believed, so count us among the witnesses.”
84. “And why should we not believe in God, and in the truth that has come to us, and hope that our Lord will include us among the righteous people?”
85. God will reward them for what they say-Gardens beneath which rivers flow, where they will stay forever. Such is the reward of the righteous.
86. But as for those who disbelieve and deny Our signs-these are the inmates of the Fire.
87. O you who believe! Do not prohibit the good things God has permitted for you, and do not commit aggression. God does not love the aggressors.
88. And eat of the lawful and good things God has provided for you; and be conscious of God, in Whom you are believers.
89. God does not hold you accountable for your unintended oaths, but He holds you accountable for your binding oaths. The atonement for it is by feeding ten needy people from the average of what you feed your families, or by clothing them, or by freeing a slave. Anyone who lacks the means shall fast for three days. That is the atonement for breaking your oaths when you have sworn them. So keep your oaths. Thus God makes clear His Revelations to you, that you may be grateful.
90. O you who believe! Intoxicants, gambling, idolatry, and divination are abominations of Satan’s doing. Avoid them, so that you may prosper.
91. Satan wants to provoke strife and hatred among you through intoxicants and gambling, and to prevent you from the remembrance of God, and from prayer. Will you not desist?
92. Obey God and obey the Messenger, and be cautious. If you turn away-know that the duty of Our Messenger is clear communication.
93. Those who believe and do righteous deeds will not be blamed for what they may have eaten, provided they obey, and believe, and do good deeds, then maintain piety and faith, then remain righteous and charitable. God loves the charitable.

Allah, there is no god but He, the Living, the Eternal.
In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
1. O people! Fear your Lord, who created you from a single soul, and created from it its mate, and propagated from them many men and women. And revere Allah whom you ask about, and the parents. Surely, Allah is Watchful over you.
16. And mention in the Scripture Mary, when she withdrew from her people to an eastern location.
17. She screened herself away from them, and We sent to her Our spirit, and He appeared to her as an immaculate human.
18. She said, “I take refuge from you in the Most Merciful, should you be righteous.”
19. He said, “I am only the messenger of your Lord, to give you the gift of a pure son.”
20. She said, “How can I have a son, when no man has touched me, and I was never unchaste?”
21. He said, “Thus said your Lord, `It is easy for Me, and We will make him a sign for humanity, and a mercy from Us. It is a matter already decided.'“
22. So she carried him, and secluded herself with him in a remote place.
23. The labor-pains came upon her, by the trunk of a palm-tree. She said, “I wish I had died before this, and been completely forgotten.”
24. Whereupon he called her from beneath her: “Do not worry; your Lord has placed a stream beneath you.
25. And shake the trunk of the palm-tree towards you, and it will drop ripe dates by you.”
26. “So eat, and drink, and be consoled. And if you see any human, say, ‘I have vowed a fast to the Most Gracious, so I will not speak to any human today.'“
27. Then she came to her people, carrying him. They said, “O Mary, you have done something terrible.

35. It is not for Allah to have a child-glory be to Him. To have anything done, He says to it, “Be,” and it becomes.
36. “Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path.”
37. But the various factions differed among themselves. So woe to those who disbelieve from the scene of a tremendous Day.
38. Listen to them and watch for them the Day they come to Us. But the wrongdoers today are completely lost.
39. And warn them of the Day of Regret, when the matter will be concluded. Yet they are heedless, and they do not believe.
40. It is We who will inherit the earth and everyone on it, and to Us they will be returned.
41. And mention in the Scripture Abraham. He was a man of truth, a prophet.
42. He said to his father, “O my father, why do you worship what can neither hear, nor see, nor benefit you in any way?
43. O my father, there has come to me knowledge that never came to you. So follow me, and I will guide you along a straight way.
44. O my father, do not worship the devil. The devil is disobedient to the Most Gracious.
45. O my father, I fear that a punishment from the Most Gracious will afflict you, and you become an ally of the devil.”
46. He said, “Are you renouncing my gods, O Abraham? If you do not desist, I will stone you. So leave me alone for a while.”
47. He said, “Peace be upon you. I will ask my Lord to forgive you; He has been Kind to me.
48. And I will withdraw from you, and from what you pray to instead of Allah. And I will pray to my Lord, and I hope I will not be disappointed in my prayer to my Lord.”
49. When he withdrew from them, and from what they worship besides Allah, We granted him Isaac and Jacob. And each We made a prophet.
50. And We gave them freely of Our mercy, and gave them a noble reputation of truth.
51. And mention in the Scripture Moses. He was dedicated. He was a messenger and a prophet.
52. And We called him from the right side of the Mount, and brought him near in communion.
53. And We granted him, out of Our mercy, his brother Aaron, a prophet.
54. And mention in the Scripture Ishmael. He was true to his promise, and was a messenger, a prophet.
55. And he used to enjoin on his people prayer and charity, and he was pleasing to his Lord.
56. And mention in the Scripture Enoch. He was a man of truth, a prophet.
57. And We raised him to a high position.
58. These are some of the prophets Allah has blessed, from the descendants of Adam, and from those We carried with Noah, and from the descendants of Abraham and Israel, and from those We guided and selected. Whenever the revelations of the Most Gracious are recited to them, they would fall down, prostrating and weeping.
59. But they were succeeded by generations who lost the prayers and followed their appetites. They will meet perdition.
60. Except for those who repent, and believe, and act righteously. These will enter Paradise, and will not be wronged in the least.
61. The Gardens of Eden, promised by the Most Merciful to His servants in the Unseen. His promise will certainly come true.
62. They will hear no nonsense therein, but only peace. And they will have their provision therein, morning and evening.
63. Such is Paradise which We will give as inheritance to those of Our servants who are devout.
64. “We do not descend except by the command of your Lord. His is what is before us, and what is behind us, and what is between them. Your Lord is never forgetful.”
65. Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them. So worship Him, and persevere in His service. Do you know of anyone equal to Him?
66. And the human being says, “When I am dead, will I be brought back alive?”
67. Does the human being not remember that We created him before, when he was nothing?
68. By your Lord, We will round them up, and the devils, then We will bring them around Hell, on their knees.
69. Then, out of every sect, We will snatch those most defiant to the Most Merciful.
70. We are fully aware of those most deserving to scorch in it.
71. There is not one of you but will go down to it. This has been an unavoidable decree of your Lord.
72. Then We will rescue those who were devout, and leave the wrongdoers in it, on their knees.
73. When Our clear revelations are recited to them, those who disbelieve say to those who believe, “Which of the two parties is better in position, and superior in influence?”
