I couldn’t believe my eyes when I discovered this house online and had to see it in person. For two nights, Mommy Oh and I stayed in their cottage suite, which has its own entrance so you get privacy from the main house. I give you a detailed tour of the room and our Airbnb host Jacob gives us a tour of the rest of the magical property. Turns out there’s also a glamping tent with its own hot tub, outdoor kitchen, and bathroom. Near the stone bridge is a mini tree house surrounded by a moat and pond, accessible by a wooden bridge. That was quite magical! I live in Seattle and didn't even know about it. I love all the wonderful details of the Enchanting Cottage--the hammered doors with hammered hinges; cobblestone walls, leaded windows, and fanciful architecture. Your nicknames for the stalactites (Dracula's teeth, trees, etc). That must have been fun to stay, to hear the owl hooting and rain too in the rain forest of the Olympic Peninsula. The only thing missing were gnomes and fairies. Lots of fun places to explore both on the property as well as in Port Orchard. Thanks for sharing. Jenny

I remember having a tour of the home and not sure if it was for sale or not then? But it was empty. It is lovely and cosy now. It truly is a story house. So unique. Doubt there is another like it!? #104!! I stayed in a BnB (not Air, though) like this is Spain, between Toledo and Malaga. Same free form design, with hidden grottos and an amazing shower that was just in the corner of the room. Had great coffee out on the courtyard, looking up at snow covered mountains (this was March). Everything hand done with a cool hot springs under the building. It used to be a mill, but now converted. Great vid! (Good place to listen to Echo and the Bunnymen!!! Yeah, that is me!) 2:22 So cute, Mina!

This is an amazing property. I clicked on it because I recognized it immediately. When it was for sale a few years ago before these owners bought it I followed the fire sale sign down a very long narrow primitive road through the woods. Not knowing what I would find. I came to the gate, parked my car and figuring no one was there explored the property. If course I was shocked to discover the enjoy fairy tale house. I never forgot the mysterious outing and am excited to see what the owners have done with the property. It was a bit run down at the time I saw it and they have really made it beautiful! 👌

I've always known there were enchanted places full of magic & beauty....and you found it for me, THANKS. As for the tree house, I can see fairies dancing and laughing in the light of a full moon. I can see the forest animals bringing gifts of fruits and nuts. You see, the island is a magical fairy realm that, if you are lucky enough, a fairy will gift you with eyes to see. Be sure to bring your dancing dress and shoes and a gift for the island. The gift can be a special rock, a little toadstool for seating, a little bell or something you've made from the forest. Oh well, time to end my dream. I'm sure whatever they decide to do it will be wonderful. They seem to have been touched by the fairies too!

It is unusual but very beautiful. Nicely built and different. Decor is also nice. Landscape is very serene and a peaceful atmosphere. I love how they have the rocks laid in yard and inside house.

This is an amazing property. I clicked on it because I recognized it immediately. When it was for sale a few years ago before these owners bought it I followed the fire sale sign down a very long narrow primitive road through the woods. Not knowing what I would find. I came to the gate, parked my car and figuring no one was there explored the property. If course I was shocked to discover the enjoy fairy tale house. I never forgot the mysterious outing and am excited to see what the owners have done with the property. It was a bit run down at the time I saw it and they have really made it beautiful! 👌

What a dream to be able to live and care for a property as magical as this cottage. The gentleman seems like an amazing guy and I was happy to feel like I was back home in the Pacific Northwest for just a little bit =) been a bit homesick and this place brought back a bit of sunshine into my day.TY
Thank you for a wonderful tour of this magical place! It's beautiful and you make me want to go there right now! I've always known there were enchanted places full of magic & beauty....and you found it for me, THANKS.
As for the tree house, I can see fairies dancing and laughing in the light of a full moon. I can see the forest animals bringing gifts of fruits and nuts. You see, the island is a magical fairy realm that, if you are lucky enough, a fairy will gift you with eyes to see. Be sure to bring your dancing dress and shoes and a gift for the island. The gift can be a special rock, a little toadstool for seating, a little bell or something you've made from the forest.
Oh well, time to end my dream. I'm sure whatever they decide to do it will be wonderful. They seem to have been touched by the fairies too!
