@@D0WnL0DeR not really, I still think the 490 Pro is superior in FPS games on the size of the scene, imaging and verticality. The only time I am prefering the iems is during summer time and when I listen to very good music. The rest of the time the 490 Pro are my go to. They feel very comfortable and easier to use most of the time. With the iems after 2 days of use I need to take a break due to the sensibility of my ear canal (and yes I had gone through a lot of tips until I found the best ones with these, spinfit w1). I would also not leave the headphone amp/dac aside, even for iems. I am not a fan of topping, as it is too flat for me, but I am still liking the 4.4 mm ending on my Fiio K7 BT.

Good lesson for new fps gamers in this video, notice how the audio section is nearly half the video. Doesn't matter how good your aim is with whatever high end mouse and keyboard, if you can't hear where the opposition is and communicate clearly with your team you are going to have a handicap.
Nothing compares to actually practice in the game you play. There are top players that still use wired apple ear buds, people put way to much trust in their peripherals lol
@@Triannosaurus it’s not really an apples and oranges argument. Would those top players get a benefit from using better headphones. Yes. Will the differences be as appreciable as someone who is worse at video games? No. Why? Because the top players have adjusted their game play to not be reliant on audio at all. Good for them. It doesn’t mean they won’t benefit from moving from garbage to not garbage audio.

Great video, Fresh! Man, I'm waiting for your review of Beyer DT 1990 Pro MK2 and comparisons to the HD490 Pro, the OG 1990 Pro, and 900 Pro X. As always, besides the gaming aspect, your audiophile review and comparison of 1990 Pro MK2 would be valuable, too, especially in terms of tonality (bass, midrange, treble, and timbre) and technicalities (soundstage, imaging, seperation, clarity, and detail retrieval). Happy Holidays, Fresh!
@FreshReviewsYT Great news and happy purchase, brother. Since majority of audiophile reviewers, like DMS, don't like and share any interest in brighter headphones or outright hate them (especially the ones made by Beyer), there's bound to be practically no in-depth and fair reviews on the 1990 Pro MK2. You're an honest and fair reviewer who don't mind brighter headphones. You also go in-depth in your reviews and comparisons. I value all these traits in your work, Fresh. That's why I can trust you to give the 1990 Pro MK2 its fair review, too. Thank you so much for the reviews throughout the years! I got the 7Hz Sonus on your recommendation, and it's so good in games especially CS2 (the only fps i play currently). I use Moondrop MC2 cable, and Moondrop Dawn Pro portable dac / amp with it. I love this setup. I have the Viper Mini and am trying to upgrade but I just don't want another "clone" of it. Hitscan Hyperlight, Scyrox V6 and V8, Lamzu Maya are all withing 1mm of its size. I just don't understand this market. I know people want a wireless Viper mini but razer won't do that so these companies are capitalizing on that opportunity. I just find the grip width of viper mini tapering down too much toward the bottom of the mouse. Maybe the hand feel of these mice are different and I'm just relying on numbers too much, idk. I think you should try Kinera Celest Wyvern Pro Black not the white one, it could be the ultra bugdet wall hack certified, it is much better than QKZ HBB and comes with a nice mic, very good for cosole players.
been using the neptune pro ever since you recommended it to me almost a year ago. absolutely love the feel of it, my favorite surface feel by far have you tried anything with a similar feel to the neptune but with more control? ive been suffering in tac shooters but am so bored of the surface of my zero
Bought the HD 490 Pro and WLMOUSE Fabulous Beasts x BEAST X this year because of your reviews and I love them. But there is one thing I'd like to ask - what sample rate should I use? My amp can go up to 384000Hz 32Bits but that makes spotify unusable so that's why I use 192000Hz 32Bits, should I keep the sample rate that high or are there any downsides to it? I'm playing CoD and CS.
The new jvc spiral ep-fx 12 are really good ear tips. For me they seal very nice similar to when I wear the spinfit w1 l. They maintain the comfort of the spiral dots ep-fx10 but provide a better seal and more bass like an updated divinis velvet. The eletech baraque tips are also good but the material is much softer and thinner than the ep-fx12 which I think are just an upgrade in every way over quite a few ear tips in my collection.
Do you have plans to review the 7Hz G1? I would like to know the difference between the G1 and the TRIPOWIN x 0DiBi: Vivace, to see if there is any difference in soundstage/imaging for gaming and comfort. Happy holidays! Cheers!
Love the wrap up style video! I'm curious if you were going to test the NiceHCK NX8 as it's been going around as another recommendation in the $200 price bracket
while i doubt anyone will see this, im looking to get new IEMs for competing in cs. have been on the TIN T2s since 2020 but i have always felt like im missing sounds from time to time - like im occasionally not hearing footsteps around me at all and have to be given call outs. so far, from my week long research, ive narrowed it down to the mangird tea pros, yanyin canon 2s. and the smigot supermix 4. but im not too convinced of one over the other cus everyone has said good things for all of them. if anyone could lend me their insights as to which they feel is better for gaming, i would very much appreciate it~!
Nice one fresh. Merry Christmas to you as well!!! Kind of hoping for that HBB PUNCH to be good for gaming😂😂😂 oh well. Just wanna share some information, Sennheiser hd560s is on 40-50% sale, but not sure in what locations. Just ordered mine for 99£. So should be on 99$ and 99€ in other region's. This could be one of the best price to performance for gaming on the headphones right now!
Hey Fresh, My daily driver (Xenns Top) the left earbud ended up dying on me (its like 50% of my right ear bud) so now I am in the market for a new daily driver. I am using my Yanyin Canon 2s currently, but I don't enjoy how it sounds compared to my Xenns Top, it has spoiled me quite a bit (Im pairing it with the Ifi Zen Dac V3). I am interested in trying out the kilo buck options (looking at Monarchs/FiiO FA19), I like to shop around for my FPS games, but mainly playing R6 at the moment. How is the tuning for the Monarchs/FiiO compared to the Xenns Top? Would you recommend those two as a decent upgrade over the Xenns, or does the Top/new Mangird Tea Pro option do enough at their price point that it makes the kilo buck range subject to more diminishing returns? Also sick TT sub 👀
I'm thinking I'll make the plunge then, in the quest for ever immersive gameplay the Xenns Top delivered very well, I am equal parts excited and terrified of setting an even higher standard 😅
Hey there, great video! Was just wondering if you could provide any advice, as I recently purchased your Arete's (great sound BTW). Was just wondering if you could recommend some eartips for them, as I tend to have an issue with the stocks. It seems as though I always have an issue with eartips in my left ear, and they always come out, no matter how small. Looking for some other tips to try out with these. Secondly, I was wondering what the best cable is that has a slightly longer length and doesn't tangle as easily as the stock cable does (mid and high price range is fine). Thanks for your time, and keep up the awesome work!
That Nuphy 75HE low profile keeb looks fantastic. I really want to pull the trigger, I only have a full size corsair k70 from like 10 years ago and a key chattering Ducky One 2 Mini that I hate.
Do you still recommend the Yanyin Canon II? I feel like I see a lot of split opinions about it. I feel like maybe the Tea Pro might be the next best thing? If EQing my Hexa's mean anything (up to 6khz), I much prefer the EQ of the Canon II.
if anything you can EQ the Tea PRO's low end to make it more neutral rather than warm if that's more your jam. I had the Tea PRO and loved it. Solid build quality with the metal alloy shell. Darker treble response as well. Canon II seems to be using custom BAs vs the Tea PRO that uses branded knowles.
@QuackyTV would definitely need to do that. EQing the Tea Pro to my Hexa, I found it to be very warm and not as clear compared to the Canon II. I think I'm just gonna go with the Canon II at this point. I've tried many EQs and cannot find anything with the same warmth and clarity. Plus I sometimes game on PS5 with my Samson mic as my output device for zero latency feedback so I kinda value not needing to EQ my gear for the best sound. Thanks for your input. The Tea Pro is definitely on my list now.
Amazing mouse. Really amazing. The xm1 was my old main and having two mice like the x2h and sora to swap to seemed to make more sense for me since I felt I’d be putting a lot of time on the xm2 again
@ I see, I loved the DAV3P but wanted something a bit lighter, kept seeing people say to try to Maya X and your review and it’s been perfect for me. Small mice really hurt my hands lol
Absolutely a great video from the 🐐 One question: Picked up the Thieaudio Origins and I enjoy the sound, but I'm finding a hard time getting adjusted to IEMs in general. I've experimented with a handful of ear tips (just got the W1s today, have yet to try), but man I just can't seem to make them feel comfortable that long. Ears start to get sore just around the 30min to 1 hour mark. Any advice on getting used to IEMs so they don't cause soreness, or is there just an adjustment period?
I was just asking you about the Nuphy Air 75He the other day on your other video. Thank you for testing and mentioning it here! Btw the Lamzu Maya X didn't make it??
Happy Holidays, Fresh! I'm curious what happend to the maya X. I saw it in a bunch of reviews for a month and everyone said it was amazing then it kinda disappeared? I expected to find it in best mouse of the year videos based on how everyone was talking about it
Exceptionally good mouse. It just made more sense for me to stay on things close to the xm2 because it seems to be what’s cooking for me. The vaxee and x2h are somewhat similar in their own way
I know this question can be asked on google but I would love to hear your opinion. What are the major differences between BA drivers and DD drivers (in my mind, I'm comparing IE 600 and FA19). Main reason is while I do love music, gaming is the most time-wise activity that I do while I'm free. Looking at your list, it's really tempting to sell my IE600 to shoot for the FA19. Hope this make sense and thank you in advance.
So, it definitely depends more so on the quality of the driver and how it is implemented regarding how it is going to affect sound in a unit, but usually you will see dynamic drivers either covering the low end, or covering the entire frequency range. I tend to like dynamic drivers handling the bass. Usually it comes off more organic, and natural sounding. BAs are said to be better at isolating sound and require less power than dynamic drivers. Usually why you will see more BAs in units that use them, usually X covering the mids X coverings the upper region etc. You can look at articles online regarding the specifics of how BA drivers work and how dynamic drivers work in creating sound. It is quite interesting!
Happy holidays fresh I want to ask something wich set of gaming peripheral do you recommend on a very very tight budget I mean iems, mouse , mouse pad , keyboard within a specified budget like mine around 60 to 70 $ And it is a also a great video idea
On a super tight budget I’d try to get something like a Scyrox v6 or l7 ultra used or another good mouse used. I’d get a cheap great pad like the Vaxee pc
for maining rainbow six siege, would you recommend the moondrop blessing 3 or the mangird tea pro? i recently tried out the 7hz timeless and wasn’t too much of a fan and the left iem stopped working on me after a week. i currently use the FIIO K11 dac amp btw.
xm2 had the worst quality in a mouse imo, while changing skates, mouse had a huge crack going from underneath the skate all the way to where your palm rest. DO NOT RECOMEND.
Hi Fresh, will buy simgot supermix 4 as per your recommendation. With it what dac i should get ifi zen dac v3 or fiio k11 r2r? Main purpose is fps gaming
Hello, I wanted to ask you, if you had to stay with one mouse pad, regardless of the price, only the best one, for g pro 2 DEX. which one would it be? Thank you.
@ and which one, soft, mid or xsoft?. today, are the fabric ones still ahead of the glass ones? would this be your choice in fabric? which one would be in glass? thanks a lot, I based my entire setup on your content and answers, you're a genius!!
How much of an upgrade is the S and A tiers above A-? In your review of the Monarch MK3, you rated it above the Xenns Top but now its below it. I'm looking at the MK3 for what I enjoy in music but also want to know how much the difference in gaming is (since the Xenns Top is considered as the smaller MK3). And especially since the Mangird Tea Pro sits in the A tier.
May have had a mistaken memory when I was compiling my tier list several months later. I think there are noticeable differences between the tiers still, but I wouldn’t spend hundreds more To go up half a rank unless you really want something in a slightly higher bracket. Differences of one full tier is greater
@@FreshReviewsYT Thanks, ended up going for a Monarch MK3 for 32% off MSRP. Should be a sizeable upgrade from my previous (Moondrop B2:Dusk) and current (Moondrop Dusk).

been using the neptune pro ever since you recommended it to me almost a year ago. absolutely love the feel of it, my favorite surface feel by far
have you tried anything with a similar feel to the neptune but with more control? ive been suffering in tac shooters but am so bored of the surface of my zero
Jupiter pro.
what are the cable and tips on the mangird tea pro? Cheers, love your content!
Nice watch Fresh!
Try the Stormbreaker CF from pwnage man. It's the best ergo mouse I've ever used.
Seconded, I have the Nacho colorway and it is hands down the best mouse I've used to date after DAV3 and VV3 Pro for us larger hand folk.
Default is ok! Most games don’t get very high but for music if you’re using a streamer that allows for higher definitely bump
It up!
Commenting for the first time to say that your watch is sick, it really suits your wrist
Thanks man!
you should try the penon liquers orange tips, felt game changing for me.
Thanks for the tip!
I love my orange wl fb beast x 8k it’s actually peak. Would you think the new final mouse is better?
Not at all. Beast x supremacy!!
Good to know!
I think so!
while i doubt anyone will see this, im looking to get new IEMs for competing in cs.
have been on the TIN T2s since 2020 but i have always felt like im missing sounds from time to time - like im occasionally not hearing footsteps around me at all and have to be given call outs.
so far, from my week long research, ive narrowed it down to the mangird tea pros, yanyin canon 2s. and the smigot supermix 4. but im not too convinced of one over the other cus everyone has said good things for all of them.
if anyone could lend me their insights as to which they feel is better for gaming, i would very much appreciate it~!
Nice one fresh. Merry Christmas to you as well!!!
Kind of hoping for that HBB PUNCH to be good for gaming😂😂😂 oh well.
Just wanna share some information,
Sennheiser hd560s is on 40-50% sale, but not sure in what locations.
Just ordered mine for 99£.
So should be on 99$ and 99€ in other region's.
This could be one of the best price to performance for gaming on the headphones right now!
Damn! You’re not wrong!
@FreshReviewsYT that means its 10x cheaper than 800s and 4x cheaper than 490 pro plus🙂
Hey Fresh,
My daily driver (Xenns Top) the left earbud ended up dying on me (its like 50% of my right ear bud) so now I am in the market for a new daily driver.
More diminishing returns for sure, but the fa19 is super nice
I'm thinking I'll make the plunge then, in the quest for ever immersive gameplay the Xenns Top delivered very well, I am equal parts excited and terrified of setting an even higher standard
😅
Damn Fresh looking fresh with the rolie, what's your job if you don't mind the question
Haha I try to keep a bit of that personal but I work very hard outside of YT
Great video. For headphones which would be your closed back of choice for gaming?
Didn’t try many this year. The jt1 was ok for a cheap option
For cables I recommend the Tripowin Moonshadow but it might be the same length. Eartips go for the azla sednaearfit asmr
@@FreshReviewsYT Thanks! I'll look into them :>
That Nuphy 75HE low profile keeb looks fantastic. I really want to pull the trigger, I only have a full size corsair k70 from like 10 years ago and a key chattering Ducky One 2 Mini that I hate.
@@SlickSniper3 it’s really dope
@@FreshReviewsYT I folded and ordered it. Can't wait!
Yea absolutely!
@FreshReviyewsYT Thanks! I'm pretty set on getting them at this point. I just wanted to make sure I didn't just throw money away.
IEMs are more than an FR curve. The tea pro is better. Get it.
Surprised the Lamzu Maya X didn’t make the list. I absolutely love the mouse and the performance and weight are fantastic
Which Headphones is extremely good for Valorant?
Nothing kept from Arbiter studios? What were the cons of the Akitsu? I love it
I mostly stick with larger mice as you can tell.
Absolutely a great video from the 🐐
One question:
Picked up the Thieaudio Origins and I enjoy the sound, but I'm finding a hard time getting adjusted to IEMs in general.
Definitely an adjustment period! They will become more comfortable over time. I will say though the origin is a bit larger than some IEMs
@FreshReviewsYT for sure they are. Even with smaller nozzle IEMs I seemed to struggle with them, but I'll try to stick these out. Appreciate it.
Yeah you might eventually be fine with IEMs but maybe never the Origins. This is why most giant "high end" designs I simply ignore.
@@jesh879 the letshuoer cadenza killed my ear 😭
That watch looks clean
Great video always fresh 😎👍, do you shoot your videos on the elgato face cam ? and if so how do you get it to look so good ?
I don’t! Only hand cam pics in gameplay
@@FreshReviewsYT oh what camera do you use for filming ?
I was just asking you about the Nuphy Air 75He the other day on your other video. Thank you for testing and mentioning it here! Btw the Lamzu Maya X didn't make it??
Great mouse but it just made more sense for me to stick in the same area as the xm2 since I rotate to a lot of mice that feel somewhat similar
@@FreshReviewsYT Understood, but it didn't even get a mention here makes me wondering if it's forgotten, lol.
The vaxee and x2h are somewhat similar in their own way
Only for R6, Tea Pro or Canon 2?
Another great video, btw.
I’ve tried the canon 2 and it was great. Didn’t try the tea pro but it should be relatively similar
Fresh Reviews with the fresh rolex 😎
Freshy fresh
Man,,, PC gaming it is a really expensive sport, indeed!
Anyway, that was a very great listing!
Ty!
Happy holidays fresh
I want to ask something wich set of gaming peripheral do you recommend on a very very tight budget
I mean iems, mouse , mouse pad , keyboard within a specified budget like mine around 60 to 70 $
And it is a also a great video idea
On a super tight budget I’d try to get something like a Scyrox v6 or l7 ultra used or another good mouse used. I’d get a cheap great pad like the Vaxee pc
Hello Fresh! Love your videos! May i ask, why did the hana not make it? Love to hear your thoughts on that
The Hana is a great pad. I prefer the texture and speed of tekkusai’s beast personally
my guy flexing rolex on me mayne gawd damn lol. jk its good to see brother doing well
Did you get a chance with Fiio FT1 Pro
I haven’t yet
Love your videos ❤ . Are there any mouse reviews on your channel which cost under $100. I was looking for that may cost around $50-$80
The mchose l7 pro is great and the hitscan hyperlight and Scyrox v6
Do you think the Mangird Tea Pro is enough of an improvement in gaming over the Kiwi Orchestra Lite to justify the upgrade?
Yes
for maining rainbow six siege, would you recommend the moondrop blessing 3 or the mangird tea pro? i recently tried out the 7hz timeless and wasn’t too much of a fan and the left iem stopped working on me after a week. i currently use the FIIO K11 dac amp btw.
or if you have any other recommendations mainly for siege gaming in this price range
Tea pro
Or canon 2
xm2 had the worst quality in a mouse imo, while changing skates, mouse had a huge crack going from underneath the skate all the way to where your palm rest. DO NOT RECOMEND.
Hi Fresh, will buy simgot supermix 4 as per your recommendation. With it what dac i should get ifi zen dac v3 or fiio k11 r2r?
Main purpose is fps gaming
Haven’t used the r2r
Hello, I wanted to ask you, if you had to stay with one mouse pad, regardless of the price, only the best one, for g pro 2 DEX. which one would it be? Thank you.
I’m testing the key83 from artisan now. Nice pad combo with large mice
I think there are noticeable differences between the tiers still, but I wouldn’t spend hundreds more
To go up half a rank unless you really want something in a slightly higher bracket. Differences of one full tier is greater
@@FreshReviewsYT Thanks, ended up going for a Monarch MK3 for 32% off MSRP. Should be a sizeable upgrade from my previous (Moondrop B2:Dusk) and current (Moondrop Dusk).
Main mouse? My virtual friend.
When you lay back and relax to watch movies and play single player games, do you use headphones or iems, if so which ones?
I either stay on the tea pro or swap to the hbb punch at the moment
@FreshReviewsYT And you use these over any headphones?
Has the Maya Fnatic not stood the test of time? Thanks Fresh
Amazing mouse. It just makes more sense for me to keep in line with things a bit similar and the sora x2h and xm2 are easy crossovers
Thanks fresh happy hols !
Nice vid! Would you recommend using hd490 pro with hifimuse m5 ultra? Is it enough power to utilise the headphone optimally?
I actually haven’t tried yet to see how it sounds
😎👌
quacky!!!!!!!!
I bought the Beast Max 8k from WL and LMB has had a tight spot at the beginning if the press. It's really hard to press the first time and makes a louder click. I emailed WL and got no response. I like everything about the Beast Max except that. Since they "Ghosted" me on the support I will prob stick with Pulsar as I have had good luck with them getting back to me if I have an issue.
Damn hate to hear that stuff
Do a watch collection video I like you tastes
Is there any company on the market that makes magnesium mice for claw grip yet? (shapes like lamzu atlantis or sora I like it but want to try magnesium but can't seem to find one similar)
You’d maybe like the Noah
@@FreshReviewsYT All right guest I'll check it out.
Can you suggest an upgrade from gpxsuperlight for relax claw grip in the op1 and xm2 4K price range
The gpx superlight 2 still performs very well
Have you tried the PMM Cyber 4.1?
I have! I believe I have a review
I enjoyed it

Just wondering, will you be doing a review on the recently released Padsmith IEMs?
Should be yea
@@FreshReviewsYT Looking forward to it! Honestly you're my go-to channel when looking for gaming peripherals, considering your history in gaming and your expertise.
I admire it, please keep up the great work :D
how's the blue on the wraith compare to the vaxee E1 blue? Good match? 👀
The wraith is lighter. Not a bad match though if you want to go blue on blue
Let me borrow that watch for a little bit!
Haha
Hey ahm, why you didnt put the Fnatic maya in this video i thought it was your main mouse? Any issue did you see?
Hi Fresh, would you recommend the 560s or crinnacle zero blue strictly for competitive FPS? Or is there another option that’s better in the sub 200 range
Depends if you want headphones or IEMs
@ i am fine with either, I am just concerned about having the best competitive advantage in terms of sound quality and pinpointing footsteps.
Nice video, what’s ur hand size for reference
Smidge over 21.5
Do you have any plan to review the Blon BL03 II?
Yea
What grip do you use? I have the new ulx competition in medium but I'm waiting for the op18k in wireless.
I use a hybrid fingertip palm but mainly finger tip
whats better gaming iem for you, mangird tea pro or xenns mangird top?
In gaming they're about the same. He prefers the tuning of the tea pro for everything else.
Correct yea!
Could you mention which skates are you using with The Beast by Tekkusai?
The skates that come with it are great. On glass I tend to use obsidian jades
Yo Fresh have you tried the porta pros for gaming?
I haven’t
