Welcome to PART 2 of my skin journey story and how I cleared my skin ~series~. I will be answering frequently asked questions about taking isotretinoin, the side effects I experienced, how much is accutane / acnotin etc and also questions about the Aivee Clinic how much, price list, worth it? etc.
Please note that I did not talk about other possible side effects of isotretinoin since I did not experience them. I highly encourage you to read up about the drug before taking it, talk to your derma if it is the right treatment for you.

ate during times na super dry skin mo, try VMV hypoallergenics lotion nila. mahal sia ng kaunte sa regular brands pero sobrang gentle at effective especially sa dry at sensitive skin. Di rin ako derma pero it's worth trying kasi suitable for sensitive skin sia

Annelle, I currently have the bleaching cream but I only tried it twice, kaya lang di ko na inulit kasi sobrang pula paggising ko ng umaga tapos medyo makati siya at swelled up. Is that normal? Also, how many bleaching creams did you have during the whole course? :)))

Hi Marielle!! I only used up one container of the bleaching cream. Parang hindi ata normal yung makati and nag swell haha sa AHA ko usually naffeel yung makati/mahapdi and redness but I think it's the AHA that helped me with the scars + some bio oil! @@ryoonahamdan2031 nooo you cannot go through it without seeing doctor because the drug is very serious and it needs to be closely monitored by taking your blood sample and urine every month.

Same experience way back in 2016. But they recommended laser treatment as early as 3mos into the meds so I decided to stop going there(laser treatments are SO expensive- it was 15k per session, and I needed 10 sesh dw huhu). I started taking otc pills as recommended by another derma, and they helped me A LOT in less than a year.
advice: always go to a good dermatologist.

@@AnnelleLansangan hi! does your derma recommend having laser during or after taking the isotret? mine wanted to do it weekly but im scared baka pagkatapos ng laser mag purge na ako. i will only undergo 6 sessions kasi mahal

Hi po, ask k lng nung natapos mo ung pagtake ng isotretionoin, bumalik p b pimples m? Ung iba kc need mag 2nd course kasi bumalik. Ako 10 months ako nagtake and then after 1 week post sa iso. Nakakaroon nko ng mga maliliit na bumps, sana po masagot
Hello! Hindi na ako nagkabreakout like before ulit nung nag stop ako. Pero paminsan may pimples rin like pag hormonal or may new product na triny tas hindi hiyang sa skin. Mostly maliit lang, di na cystic tulad ng dati.

Hello po idol, asking po noong magaling na pimples mo at hindi ka na nagkaka pimples after 8months until now po ba nag take ka parin po?, kasi nabasa ko sya 3 months lng sya pwede i take kasi po pag nag sobra tatamaan ka po sa liver po.
Hello!! No na, I only took it during the recommended duration of my doctor which was more than 3 months. Best to consult with your doctor para tama yung info and para makita if isotret is for you :D

You have PCOS too? Im on Sprinolactone and Yaz (OCP). I cant completely cut off dairy; just milk,cheese and eggs. Meat? I cannot. Just cant. Thanks for the info. I might visit the clinic once Im home for vacation. Aside from meds, we also need physical treatment🤍

Hii! Yes but I think it was because of it being super dry and also other meds I was applying on my face at the time like the AHA. You can check my skin journey video to see more pics.

8 months in 2017. Hmm I only started trying new ones around 2018 but I've always had the cleanser from Aivee up until now even if I try other brands, the cleanser is something that I will use forever haha

Hello! Depends on the dosage prescribed by your derma. 1 capsule is 10mg in my case and when I was on 30mg, 3x a day na ako nun.

2nd day ko pa lang ngayon mag take ng Isotretinoin for my Mild Acne . Waaah so wala munang iinom ng alak weekly😂🤦🏻♂️ byebye muna Gside at Enroute😂 so far unang side effect kong naramdaman ay mabigat at medyo masakit sa ulo. Pero tanong ko lang nag lab tests ka rin ba para sa dugo,at liver mo at lipid test? Thanks🙂
Yes wag na muna alak tubing nalang para safe!! Meron namang San Mig ZERO! Lasang beer pero hindi siya beer hahah Hindi ako nag take ng any tests prior and during isotret kasi hindi ako nasabihan ng derma na needed / recommended pala :D

Hi Kyla! I used the sunscreen foundation from Aivee and switched it up with the Biore Aqua Rich Watery Essence one -- I used this also on my arms / exposed areas! :) Wishing you all the best on your journey!! You can message me if you have any questions :)

Bamonte Adedebayou😂 hmm as for me, hindi na sila nag require ng labtest. i went there last yr sept 2020, dr consultation fee was ranging from 700-1500 i think? depende if si dr aivee yung gusto mo mag check sayo. but i think it doesnt matter na. the dr just recommended the right facial for me & they prescribed antibiotics for my acne. some cream, toner, and cleanser too. yun yung mahal tbh

Hello!! Yes nawala siya mainly because of isotret and cutting dairy from my diet. During the entire course of isotret, I only had facials twice then parang once a year lang after that. Actually buong 2020 no facial hahah

For me its all worth it! They really helped in improving my skin. The cleanser also is reaaally good. 4 years ko na rin siya ginagamit, even if I'm trying out other facial washes from other brands, the one the The Aivee Clinic is just here forever hahah
Isotretinoin made my skin 3-4shades darker plz help me in how many days it takes to fade (this is isotretinoin's side effects)😢plz anyone helps me !!!

Hello! You can ask your derma to check if you're a good candidate to take isotret. Hindi kasi siya for all cases of acne :)

Hi Catherine!! From Dove shampoo, I switched to a more natural one like human nature and if I had no choice / no natural shampoo, I'd dilute the shampoo so it's not too concentrated pero ang hirap talaga magkakahairfall ka talaga even after the istotret course, took a while bago nag ~normal~ hairfall ko! Hang in there!!
nakakatakot lang kasi pang 2nd month ko palang and grabe na ang hairfall ko good thing I don't need to wash it everyday kasi dry nga ang scalp the more I washed it kasi the more hairfall and it's just making me sad and nervous at the same time..but knowing your experienced about it gumagaan naman ang pakiramdam ko na hindi lang ako ang nakaka experience nito..nways, thank you so much for answering my questions..Godbless :)

Hello!! My eyes didnt feel super dry but I experienced photosensitivity so I was wearing sunglasses indoors haha it was gone after taking the meds! Ask your derma about optive eye drops :)

Hii! After stopping in 2017, it was MONTHS before I had my first pimple again. 😬 I haven't had any major cystic ones since then but I do get small ones lang usually on my forehead.

It's my 15th day of taking isotret and have been binge watching every isotret video and I'm wondering if they never made you get blood tests? (since you didn't mention it) cause my friend who also went to Aivee told me they never required her to take blood tests whilst in other videos they say it's a must as the drug's heavy sa liver 😅also thank you for this! Helped me not get so sad out about the purging 😭😭😭also I feel you on the itching....it was SO HARD not to scratch huhuhu
Im also on isotret with bloodwork 40mg per day 10 months 2nd & 3rd week purge Grabe the stress and pain sa pimps but 4th week nagclear super fast. I suggest use a facial wash na super gentle + toner only + sunscreen. Bloodwork is v important. My cholesterol went 250 on the first month (pang lola na cholesterol) i was prescribed with Rosuvastatin for it
@@carminaramos3183 I’m scheduled for my second blood work on the 16th so hopefully ✌🏻and I stopped using toners as I can’t find anything that works for me so if you have any toner recommendations, would be highly appreciated 😭 also yes the purging!! I’m just trying not to get sad/stressed about it pero parang every time I take progress pics hayyy 😭

In my case, yung isotret nakahelp rin sa chest and back acne ko! But in general, adapalene gel siguro will work well rin for the back :)
