For me the fact that you can interchange your 18V power-tool batteries with the vacuum cleaner is a true game changer, you can even buy good, inexpensive 18V bosch batteries online.

Noticed on the rice test that the Roidmi and Bosch both had rice remaining in the head that got dropped back down to the floor when they were lifted whereas the Dyson did not. That plus the storage capacity Id say the Dyson is the winner aside from battery life.
Except on wood floors the Dyson spits food like rice all over the place and needs replacing every 18 months on average in large house ... haven't used the other 2 so can't compare in these 2 areas 🙄

We've been reviewing for ages now and the Bosch is slightly winning - it's not made in China, we already have 3 of the batteries for garden machinery, as well as 2 Bosch Mowers and a Recip saw and Strimmer and we absolutely love the Bosch After Sales..brilliant
Good review. It seems the Bosch sits lower and therefore it's suction seems stronger. I'd have liked to see a dust and dirt comparison. It's the dust and dirt I want out of my carpet. Bosch pushes because it sits lower. Thanks and I'll purchase this week based on your TH-cam and reading some reviews.

The mag bracket is cool, but only the Dyson and Bosch will auto-charge when you cradle them. The RoidMi leaves a dangling power cord. Bit of a shame but I get why it's that way, they save a bit of cost on the bracket (and hopefully pass the savings on to the consumer).

I've hard both the bosch and a Dyson v8, and the difference is miles apart, Dyson is sooo much better
Great video. How about the filter comparison? Which one needs to be replaced or cleaned frequently?
On the whole washable filters are standard on vacuums now, and we normally recommend washing at least once a month. Don't forget to make sure it is completely dry before putting it back into the vacuum
Hi love your vacuum review I am still thinking about replacement of my DC 35 dyson as the dyson is letting muck out as soon as you stop cleaning it's the flap in the bucket is stuck again do theses new ones do the same

Who cleans up cornflakes with a hoover? You just brush them up first and then hoover the small bits left behind. It's like when one watches a match between two teams one knows nothing about, one picks one and sort of becomes a temporary fan. I became a Bosch supporter during this video ) On a serious note, I wonder if it is possible to rotate the main brush on the Bosch 90 degrees around the axis of the pipe? So that it were possible to vacuum under quite a wide and low bed and having the motor and the container part parallel to the floor.

Btw, the brush doesn't rotate 90 degrees, and it causes some minor problems

I ve had issues straight out of the box with my Bosch. Battery only lasting 10min on max, Faulty Battery or issues with the machine?? Nice review, might have bought differently if I had found it first
On turbo they say that it can last 5 min, 10 min is great. On normal use 30 min. So its ok.
3 questions please. What is the charge time on the dyson and can you remove the battery for charging. Lastly do you have to hold the power button in while using it. I noticed you did when doing the dB test.Thank you.
The charge time is around 3-4 hours to get it fully charged. The battery doesn't need to be removed for charging purposes, it will just stay on the vacuum. You do need to hold down the power button whilst using it.

You should state correctly that run times are UPTO not that it’s runtime is. So the Dyson has a runtime of up to 30 minutes depending on what setting and if a non motorised tool is on or not. The V7 gives 20 minutes with the cleaner head on.

We sell a lot more of the Dyson compared to the Bosch and Roidmi.
