- Remaking iconic Minecraft mini-games with terrible ideas. Mini-games have always been a very important part of the Minecraft experience, so I decided to remake some of the most iconic and classic ones with terrible twists and ideas to make them even more hilarious and funny!

I have been coding on diamondfire for about 5 years now and I never knew you could hover over the book in your inventory to see what you need to put in the chest.

Something funny that was left out of the video was that me and Rat were on the same team at one point and he was questioning someone’s use of honey blocks to bridge with and broke it, not realizing I was standing on it, and just watched me fall to my death saying “oh sorry”

This is actually really cool, its like scratch but in Minecraft. I don't like scratch except for teaching people very basic things, but I just think it's smart to use Minecraft as a base and then do a sort of scratch like coding thing inside of it. Honestly I think this idea is genius.

Minecraft is based on Java. JavaScript is an entirely different language and - confusing as it is - you absolutely do not want to get them confused.

I remember the built-in minigames on xbox 360 minecraft, it was always so fun to play them with friends. Unfortunately they got removed in vesrion 1.13.
yeah bro i really miss those but i played them on ps4 and since i basically never use my ps4 and i didnt sync my microsoft account to minecraft i still have access to the old console version and all the minigames :D so yeah if i have people round and wanna play mc with them i just use the old version of mc on ps4 since its just i prefer it so much more than stupid bedrock edition. obvi i love java edition but console edition was fantastic.

This is truly the single best ad for a minecraft server
I was expecting a video about only playing the mini games, but when you started covering command block functions my hyper senses turned on simply for the enjoyment of hearing fancy words.

the reason that could be picked is that it allows you to clear a large area pretty quickly, at the penalty of accuracy

Ok, but the inaccurate spleef is actually legitimately great. Sure you could be screwed over by random chance the whole game but this is reduced by having multiple layers. Plus popular games such as poker also have a major luck factor but still maintain a huge following. You want to maximize the time your opponent is in your dig aoe while minimizing the time your in their’s. In addition the aoe’s intensity is dependent on how many blocks are missing within its range. The result is a game that feels hectic but actually has a ton of positional strategy and requires quick assessment of a complicated situation to be consistently good at, but will also allow newer players to succeed occasionally through random chance. It is actually a really great idea you stumbled into while looking for terrible ones.

As a DF coder, I am genuinely amazed to see youtubers actually play on a server with a small community, and actually have fun watching ppl play their games.
God bridging with sand was the best part of the video (talking only about player behaviour)

As someone who is now known in the diamond fire community because of learning of the server from this video and learning coding from it thanks
I remember playing the server before and really want to do it again if I didn't have the problem of only being able to run older versions of minecraft, (1.12 and such) However I'm getting to use a new computer soon so I might be able to do so
The inaccurate snowballs are just hyper nuke snowbombs, they aren't inaccurate in any way

It would make more sense if you teleported the player 2 blocks up or down instead of applying velocity, since usually the rubberbanding doesn’t give you any velocity.

theres just one thing they can add to the coding system (i dont know if this already exists, this video is 9 months old).
in normal coding, code in brackets {} is indented
they could do the same with making code go 1 up in the Y axis.
