Nice that those Slowdive EP's are available. Love their version of Golden Hair & the " Blue Haired " live video is great. The 2 tracks Ray plays on are my favorites on Los Angeles Nausea & The World's A Mess It's In My Kiss. The 2nd album is my favorite. Saw The Chameleons last week. They did Strange Times ( but not the Ep included on the cd & initially LP ) & a few songs from the debut as an encore .. Monkeyland & Second Skin.
I don't know the Chameleons' music. Wild Gift is a great album, but I think prefer their 3rd and 4th, not by much though. Golden Hair sounded great live, one of the highlights of the show.
lol, be careful of rabbit holes Mike, they will drain your wallet. Cutting back is not easy, I think I have been, but then maybe I haven’t lol. Hahaha on PF, welcome to the why the hell did I need that club! Too funny
I guess I could justify the DSOTM purchase because it truly is one of my all-time favorite albums. Didn't "need" this copy, but really wanted it, so there you go!
Hey Mike I’ve got that Slowdive 5 drum & bass remix EP. Got it for a quid ..it’s ok but hardly essential. I’ve tried with X...& I’ve given up now..we’ve all got those bands haven’t we? 😊 I was in Brighton Saturday & lots of original 90’s pressing starting to hit the racks. I saw Boo Radleys second & Heaven & Las Vegas amongst a few others....just out of my price range unfortunately!
Would love an original pressing of Heaven or Las Vegas. Sorry X hasn't clicked for you. I feel that way about certain bands too, like The Clash or Nick Cave.
I listened to some Stereolab the other day since your music taste made me curious, and I wasn't disappointed, it was a pleasant experience. It is actually sequenced music, some of their songs sound as if Kraftwerk were hired to write a soundtrack for old French movies...
I watched and subscribed on the sheer awesomeness of your Stereolab wall. Great content. We like the same music
Thanks Albert, appreciate the kind words!

Cool, glad to hear you liked them, they have so much great music, very prolific band. Thanks for watching!

As usual, there are a few records that I am not familiar with. I still don't have a vinyl copy of X's Los Angeles. Maybe some day . . .
