This video is for vehicles that do NOT have LED taillights so you do not need a power wire or any battery connection.

Well this doesn't need a power wire, so it's definitely a bad video if you're looking at the wrong install. Your kit has a power wire because you have LED Tail Lights. In the title is says "Except w/LED Tailights"

For reference, the kits for newer Kia Soul models with or without LED Tail Lights both have power wires. They just don't have any updated videos.
