Never considered this, will have to try it now. I don’t need so many, just want to be able to share favorites with friends. Liking those rapid rooters. Thanks for sharing the possibilities.
Great job!! Many people think this green tips as you call them can't be rooted and they are wrong, this method is use for many other trees. I have seen an agronomist here doing orange and lemon green tips or cuttings rooting, and they are the best for this rooting method.

Super! Please do a video when you make your airlayers. I am planning to use quart zip lock bags with sphagnum and perlite. Ross, the fig boss has a video. When they're young and green, he just snips off a couple of leaves along the stem and slits the zip lock and wraps it around without scoring the young branch. I am also planning to keep the tips up at 45 degrees. Mine die if I lay them flat along the ground.
there so m any way you can do this i thought i would show a few.. and show what happens with green wood.. your best just to put dirt on green wood and not score it or Gurdal it
I watched Dan Foster's videos on this too. I noticed that he leaves one big leaf while you cut them into a small square. Any reason for cutting them back like that or does it even matter? Just wondering.
i did that to help it not suck up so much moisture to help maintain the big leaf and the leaves was so big they would all fit in there with large leaves.. thanks for stopping by
