Video made 5 yrs ago so I’m guessing you’ve figured the cub 22 out by now or have moved on from it. But just in case, these are reliable. I use mine every year and about the only thing that breaks is the pitman arm. Couldn’t tell if the flat metal piece was broken at first part of video. If not, then the knife bar is set too far back. That metal piece should be straight with backward pressure on knife bar. Also, you can get a double knife section to put on end of bar to help with clogging at the end. IH made a triple section for that, but I don’t think you can find one now.

If I were you I would look for a pull type one
That's what I'm thinking, that and haybines are getting pretty cheap around here too. So we'll see what I can find.
Remove the knife plate and take it to a local blacksmith. We are legion. 5 minutes to heat, straighten and heat treat.
