There was a game called "Angles Fall First" where you could fight in space, on the ground and also board ships and try to take them. The game never took off, but god damn it was super fun. It was a functioning version of what you could do in Battlefield 2042. I would love that in HD2!

With regards to collab events, I would prefer a more expensive warbond over what they did this time. Just give us all the gear over 3 pages with some Super Credit refunds as usual. People can grind to 2k over time and not have to worry about FOMO
When they started talking about the helmets. That was something they wanted and planned on putting into the game. Different huds depending on the helmet you were wearing.
I will tell you the number ONE thing I would like to see in 2025: them integrating cross-play game continuation. Where I can log in on my PC and pick up on the same account I have on the PS5. They said they had started to develop it, but then tossed it out because they didn't think anyone would use it. That's crazy. If you have cross-play, then you should have cross-platform continuation.

One of my favorites vs Bots is: Primary: Plasma Purifier Secondary: Senator Grenades: Thermite Strategems: Recoiless Rifle Strafing Run 500 KG 120 or Orbital Laser Armor: Heavy Armor with Siege Ready passive (to increase ammo for the Purifier. I feel like this Armor helps me handle a good anti-tank role for my Fire Team. Anyways, thanks for the content, guys.
Ship to ship combat is badass, and so is bunker buster. The common thread is confined space which would have interesting impacts on weapon and stratagem choice. Supply pack might become standard.
I still say the movie is gonna be nothing but bugs, then credit roll, then the after credit scene we see glowing red eyes and hear binary speak. I also say it's gonna have a "girl boss" who's going to ignore orders from Brasch and will "save the day" because of it.
My pipe dream for the next year is bring back the level music from HD 1. In the first game the music changes depending on the level you dive on and changes depending on faction. Will be crazy to have a multi faction theme as you fight 2 factions or have a different theme when you defend a planet from invasion.
I can see a lot of big or small celebrities just dying right away or extremely injured. Or a story of General brasch or John helldiver Gameplay wise, yes i would love cross faction or just more missions
Loved the show guys! Keep it up. Meridia was peak. I have a potentially controversial idea for making Requisition Chips and samples relevant again. Many of the weapon buffs we've been getting are putting them into god tier. For example recoilless rifle, anti-tank emplacement and orbital laser are almost too powerful. However I don't want them to be nerfed. What if these OP weapons were what we have to use slips and samples to replenish? For example: instead of unlocking recoilless rifle or anti-tank emplacements one time and be done, you have to pay a lesser amount to unlock a limited supply of the item. Let's say 10,000RS for 3 loadouts of recoilless ammo, 15000RS per exo-suit and so on. Orbital bombardments would costs a comparable amount of samples. This would do several things. First and simplest it would give you a reason to collect samples/slips again. Second it would force you to be more strategic when picking your loadout. Another aspect of this system is that Arrow Head could make truly awesome weapons and stratagems without breaking the game. Everyone's been wanting a bigger version of the 500Kg but that may be too OP in the current system. But what if you could buy 1000Kg bombs but at a premium price. You can't just fling them around, you would have to use them judiciously. The last way that this could benefit is that if a weapon or system were too powerful the price can be modified to "nerf" the weapon without changing the weapon itself allowing for an alternative method of balance. This system could be implemented within the story line of the Helldivers Universe. The Department of Requisitions is having a budget audit and implements the system due to "fiscal necessity" or some similar idea. I'm not sure if the community would go for it but I would like to see something similar to this system implemented. I would also fit nicely into weapon customization. Anyway nothing but love for this game. Thanks for the great show!
Send in a celebrity cast and we see them planet side, then and each one gets picked off by a reinforcement drop who ends up being our main cast. Keep the helmets on, make it like Saving Private Ryan, make the launch sequence exactly like what it is in the game (same shots, same score: Cup of Liber-tea), NO LOVE STORIES, show us benefits and repercussions of losing an MO or a planet in the galactic war (like if super earth, defends or liberates a planet, and the divers hear a broadcast of victory the morale boost is what makes them fight harder and take riskier chances), And also in the drop pod (if we see inside it) have there be a visual screen or a broadcast over the comms of just the “tips and tricks” that we see at the bottom of the screen when we drop in. These are just a few of my ideas lol

What they could do though is run two separate missions of squads of 4 and each will have objectives that affect the other... maybe one mission has like crazy spawns but the other mission takes out a dropship center or something like that and those spawns calm down....something like that, still make the main objective completable though either way
The game engine seems to be Arrowheads biggest enemy atm. They can't do crossplanets, multiple exos, certain weapons had to be scaled back all because the engine literally breaks. This is what happens when you use a game engine that died.

I would love for Paul Verhoven to direct this, but he is very old and I know it's a pipe dream. As long as they do it justice, I'm game, but Arrowhead needs to be heavily involved!
Game needs space battles , war mode 50 players vs pve factions on planets, PVP extraction mode 4 teams doing mission and extraction mode with pve in the mix fighting to extraction. Also add in Boss battles 8 to 16 players on planets. Bring in clans add social space on the ship. Let us have a shooting range on ship. Give us simulation pvp small arena maps against other Hell Divers. Have pve factions fight each other well doing missions. Bring in animals on planets and add more civilians to create immersion.
The tip of the movie news is interesting but with how helldivers plays what can we honestly expect from the movie? We can’t follow around a main character seeing as a helldivers lifespan is like 2 minutes.
For the killzone colab. I personally believe that the community didn't overreact. ArrowHead set the precedent for warbonds being $10. The killzone stuff was originally supposed to be a warbond according to leaks. I think they knew what they were doing. They aren't dumb. They absolutely had to know that when they dropped only half of the content for 4x the cost, the whales and super fans would immediately buy it. They gave it a little time to let people buy it and the outrage to build before dropping the second half for free in order to win people back over and look like the good guy. And what happened when they looked like the good guy? People said, "Ahh man, what a good company for doing that.. I'll just go ahead and buy the fitst page to show my support. " Which i believe was the plan the whole time. I just can't believe that the fellas at Arrowhead are dumb enough to not forsee that outcome. So, all in all, people ended up spending $20 for the "warbond" content. And dont get me wrong, if they wanna charge more for crossovers, i get it. But they should talk to their community and gain some feedback. Im sure most people won't object to paying a little more for crossover content, but not 4x the price of original content, and also not in such a surprising slap in the face way. I always hear people say things along the lines of "Yeah, but look at ubisoft and EA". But those companies are just bad, everyone knows it, it's not some grand revelation. We can't sit here and hand wave responsibility for arrowhead just because other companies do worse. Arrow Head is a good company, and we have to hold them accountable to ensure that they stay a good company and dont begin stooping to the likes of a Ubi or EA. I know when they go to do helldivers 3 I think it would be cool if instead of being a helldiver you are like the cyborgs we haven't seen fighting against the helldivers. I think it would be neat to get the perspective of the enemy or the heroes since we are the bad guys.
I will mention that i planned to spend $0 on Killzone stuff because it was so over priced i just expected i would never be able to afford anything because i cant buy everything. Then they dropped the second half for free and i IMMEDIATLY spent 10 bucks for super credits to get most of the stuff. Affordability is big. But they also need to carrot people into buy stuff with some free stuff too.
if it wasnt for player pushback, the game would be shittier. trying to make players pay $40 bucks for a collab warbond (the cost of the game itself) was pushing too far. the nerfing everything to become a milsim nearly killed the game where there were lows of 8k and tracking lower. Arrowhead has pushed back on some things, but Arrowhead has given in on so many things because everything they were doing was negatively affecting the game instead of positively improving the game. If people arent happy to play the game, they wont play their game or spend money on their game in the attention economy. Honestly the biggest thing I want for Helldivers in 2025 is getting the armor system fixed. Heavy armor doesnt give enough for what you sacrifice in mobility. they should come with a 3rd perk or more stats for survivability.
Yea their take is complete garbage. If we gave them any leniency. The game will go down quickly. The prices of the super store have already been increased before this collab. Now it was 40 next it will be 60 maybe more. It isn't like this game is free. They get money from the game selling.
IF the movie turns out to be complete trash, The HD community can just turn it around and call it treasonous propaganda, extending the HD lore even more. Its a Win-Win for Super Earth.

Feedback is feedback, whether that is crying online or writing a letter. What matters is, the company gets the information from their customers to make a better product. Helldivers 2 wouldn't be in the good state that it is, if it wasn't for that feedback. We definitely wouldn't be talking about a Helldivers movie...that's for sure.
The Thing is. PPL will think the movie will be like Starship Troopers. Or atleast kind of. But you cant make movies Like that anymore. So i dont have high exspactations. But i would Love to be convinced otherwise
Go take a look at how much money they raised up front. Then take a look at the massive pre-sales despite the hot garbage they originally released. Then consider that the game is still weak as hell after years of 'updates' that did little more than complete the actual game. Hmmmm.

I know when they go to do helldivers 3 I think it would be cool if instead of being a helldiver you are like the cyborgs we haven't seen fighting against the helldivers. I think it would be neat to get the perspective of the enemy or the heroes since we are the bad guys.
I will mention that i planned to spend $0 on Killzone stuff because it was so over priced i just expected i would never be able to afford anything because i cant buy everything. Then they dropped the second half for free and i IMMEDIATLY spent 10 bucks for super credits to get most of the stuff.
Affordability is big. But they also need to carrot people into buy stuff with some free stuff too.

if it wasnt for player pushback, the game would be shittier. trying to make players pay $40 bucks for a collab warbond (the cost of the game itself) was pushing too far. the nerfing everything to become a milsim nearly killed the game where there were lows of 8k and tracking lower.
Arrowhead has pushed back on some things, but Arrowhead has given in on so many things because everything they were doing was negatively affecting the game instead of positively improving the game. If people arent happy to play the game, they wont play their game or spend money on their game in the attention economy.
Honestly the biggest thing I want for Helldivers in 2025 is getting the armor system fixed. Heavy armor doesnt give enough for what you sacrifice in mobility. they should come with a 3rd perk or more stats for survivability.

Yea their take is complete garbage. If we gave them any leniency. The game will go down quickly. The prices of the super store have already been increased before this collab. Now it was 40 next it will be 60 maybe more. It isn't like this game is free. They get money from the game selling.

Feedback is feedback, whether that is crying online or writing a letter. What matters is, the company gets the information from their customers to make a better product. Helldivers 2 wouldn't be in the good state that it is, if it wasn't for that feedback. We definitely wouldn't be talking about a Helldivers movie...that's for sure.
