BIGBANG is just 5 SUPERSTARS in one group making them incomparable in the world. Although, GD is just that special. These lists of stages are some of my most favorite stages from them. And I told you so, BB's live performances is just ON ANOTHER LEVEL.
in one of their interviews daesung said that they like a jigsaw puzzle that when you put together you get a beautiful/perfect picture and that's bigbang,,they are five unique individuals that complement each other..

I watched once interview with GD, by my understanding he is the one who was making decision who sing which part of the song. I would not be surprised as he compose this songs. He always want real musicians on stage with them to create this unique atmosphere you mentioned. Well, BIGANG are one of the kind!!!!!!
G-Dragon wrote and composed "Lies" since he was 10. Could you imagine that? This boy was born to be a superstar

Lies was groundbreaking. It really started the whole thing of idols writing their own music, plus the music video was out there highlighting the issue of domestic violence. Bigbang leading the way as always. And Tell Me Goodbye is just a beautiful song. I knew you were going to like the If You live 😁
And also tío that point in Korea ballads and slow music was like the trend (Into the New World from GG was released short after Lies and is basically a ballad). But after Lies everyone started making upbeat music. And they were the first to introduce EDM with Last Farrewell specially with Tonight and Alive
If Big Bang wasn't born in Korea but in America, they would have become a great man in the world of art - the only difference is language because Big Bang's music is at the same level. other level
Tell Me Goodbye and Lies are amazing. I can’t explain it either. Just incredible. What I love about BigBang is that they are always experimenting with their songs. They change it up so the studio and live are completely different. It keeps the audience and fans in general engaged as no one knows how the sound is gonna be.
Japan DOME TOUR X is my fave concert of Bigbang ever. The songs selections, the stage design, and their overall hairstyle, customs and performances are chef 💋 and 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. I became a VIP for life because of this concert, especially these song you've reacted are my favorites performances of this concert. 🥰
I fell in love with Gdragon first when i saw his motte tour.

That makes BIGBANG and their songs different from others. You can create different versions of the same song. That's why VIPs love watching every live performance of BIGBANG coz they give us different show to watch and listen despite of the repeated songs. Repeating songs over and over again should grow stale but never in BIGBANG and their songs' case. We love them more and more in every version. 🤣🤣🤣

Their songs are not the typical kpop sound that u usually hear before & also in the present time, u know what I mean? When u hear their songs you'll just gonna automatically blurted out that "this is Bigbang song". There is something on their songs that even if u hate or dont like the members, u will definitely cant hate their songs😏 this is why they are different w/ other kpop groups, & even if they got involved w/ multiple scandals,they can still be on top wen they decided to release a new song. Its the power of their music..people hate them but not their music. So no one can be par on BB's level,they are unrivalled & they are definitely a Wall that No one can climb up. what you were talking about at the end: I don't know if you've seen a video that went viral (in Brazil) of a boy going to rescue a kitten and suddenly several others appear from a thicket. And I feel the same way with Bigbang, GD is the first kitten, that everyone knows first and that causes the curiosity "who is he?" "what he does?" etc and then out of nowhere the other BB members come out and you just need to take them all home, because they are perfect individually, but mostly together. it was GDragon that got me into kpop, today I'm a fan of other groups, but listening to BigBang or solos gives me the feeling of coming home. And it's feel so good.

Seungri always did the perfect harmonic in many of bigbang’s songs, not to mention the live performance,really makes the song to be more beautiful. Because of the five unique voice and the perfect singing skills, it makes big bang’s song to be more diverse. They made there music by themselves ,so you can see many different versions in a same song ,they know how to show their emotion and energy in their music.Not only for the group songs ,the solo songs either. GD once said that most of his songs are more than just songs for him, they are like a diary. He is the main composer, songwriter, and PD, so of course, his attachment to the songs is different, more personal, maybe that is something that most people feel. and his musicality is exceptional. I'm waiting for his comeback🙏🏻❤❤❤(if his social activity is really the sign).
And hope Top, Taeyang, Daesung will also give us some new music in the near future.
Hope you'll do more Bigbang and G dragon-related stuff, their last concerts before going to the military are really touching on another level. But, Oh my God, all of their performances are great.

I also think another thing that makes BIGBANG stand out from other groups is they are greatly involved in the writing of music and lyrics and in the production and staging. This means that the songs are created just for them and their voices and they take total ownership of them. Of course, they are super hardworking and consider even the smallest of details. AND they clearly LOVE music! Just for info. Taeyang wrote his master's on BIGBANG and it was so good that it's published and held in (I think) the national library. (G Dragon also has a master's degree - but I think it is in something like marketing and retail. For PEACE-MINUS-ONE?)
I wasn’t expecting If You, Jesus Christ!! In my humble opinion one of their greatest songs and ballads in KPOP. And usually I don’t like ballads . Beautiful reaction as always, with that beautiful smile and that depth that you bring in each reaction

in 2012 i head them first time and from that time i started to listen kpop, even i am more in to rock music. And still now they are my No 1. This one "Tell me goodbye" performance is my most favorite. I love how voices sounds and my favorite moment 24:04, when Daesung move mic away and you can still hear his voice. And how low key sexy Taeyang looks.

You should check out Knock Out + High High for Japan Dome Tour X Concert. GD's energy is off the charts there and its one of the best performance of those songs ever.

As always, I love your reactions to Big Bang! I agree with you that Tell me goodbye is such an amazing song! I watched the same live video recently and I fell deeply in love with it which is funny bc I’ve heard the recorded one awhile back. Yet, it wasn’t one of my favorite song from them until I heard the live version. But I guess this just proves, Big Bang live is always on another level!
that japan X dome tour 2014/2015 is my fav big bang concert. they really put all their efforts and the vibes were amazing. if i need to pay huge amount of money to relive and experience that concert, i would pay. i don’t care being poor after that 😂

Their ingenuity it's amazing. Unlike other idols no offence but bigbang is does not perform commercial persona. You can see They are real They maybe different outside of stage still they are genuine.
Actually Daesung was in a musical before. He played Rum Tum Tugger in the Korean version of Cats.
As others have also noted, the Japan Dome Tour was one of the fandom's personal favorites. That concert was so fun!! I have to watch it every few months. Also you aren't alone in feeling that GD outshines everyone somehow. That's why BIGBANG are the Kings/Emperors of Kpop (both titles have been used with them); but GD alone is also called the King of Kpop because he sits at the top of the industry as the most influential artist. He can't even be just labeled as a "kpop idol", but he's a true artist and respected by multiple industries and so many other idols. He's one of a kind, truly. I love every single member and call them all "king" but GD will always just be "THE king".

Taeyang and rhythm gangster sing an amazing duet of eyes nose lips on a music show where amateurs get to sing with their idols. Taeyang really let's rhythm gangster shine and supports her performance - but he is also amazing. They didn't win. You won't believe it after listening. It's got something like 125 mil. views!

Hi, Hurraira! Just a bit of fact, Daesung once acted in musical as Rum Tum Tugger in CATS. Also, he is sooo good in variety shows as host, hilarious and witty he is. An all rounder this bias of mine.
Hurraira, you talked about how 'Lies' lent itself to being re-arranged, BIGBANG did another performance of 'Lies' on Yu Huiyeol's Sketchbook that feels very different from this performance. They did it as a call back to their early years and performed it in a more intimate, studio audience setting. It's worth seeing.

Although I agree with you that Daesung's voice can fill a stadium, I think he would suit musicals, too. You can find clips of him on TH-cam singing 'This is the Moment', and he briefly did a stint in CATS as Rum Tum Tugger in 2008. I think he's an untapped resource in that sense.

Actually i suggest you watch ( even in your personal time) the Japan dome tour 2013-2014. That entire concert is perfection. MADE in Seoul is also brilliant.
