SOOOOOO MUCH content for me to gorge on. And none of it is 'just for the sake of it', it's always something BB would proudly put their names too - never a rushed job.
It was so much fun to see the various interactions between YG artists here, I feel like I need to watch one where they interact with Se7en :)

This was a rare time in k-pop dude... I swear. It's hard to explain to fans who've only known YG at their worst, that there was a time when every fan of every group was on same wavelength. This was it ~
Man the GOLDEN OG YG FAMILY ERA, WHERE ALL FANDOMS SUPPORTED ALL ARTISTS. IT WAS A GREAT TIME AND IM THANKFUL I WAS THERE TO EXPERIENCE IT.
What a shame that kind of unity and energy is in shambles nowadays.. there’s always issues or competitiveness between fandoms. 😢
What bothers me the most is how new YG fans treat new YG artists like any other kpop idols churning out albums twice or thrice a year when they're not. It's been a culture in YG to allow their artist to put out albums when they're ready, no matter how long. Heck, we waited for Bigbang's for 5 years! But, the quality is so worth it! And that's because we understand their creative process.
Nowadays, that one fandom is so entitled crying YG didn't treat their artists well just because they're not releasing albums every year, so they get crap. Even so, they like playing the "main character" thing and go around discrediting the pioneers, therefore ostracizing themselves from the family. Whereas, the other fandoms are chill and continue to support each other, even iKOnics.
The era back then is different. Fans from different artists support their idol's labelmate. That's why the YG Family concert is fun. But the era today is different. More toxicity.
That fandom will suffer the same disrespect they treat others
That was the finale performance, “YG FAMILY” sang 3 songs… a 2NE1’s “GO AWAY”, PSY’s “GANGNAM STYLE”, and then BIG BANG’s “FANTASTIC BABY”
Those 3 artists were the one who really pushed YGE to the top of entertainment companies from 2006-2014.
EPIK HIGH did not join YGE until 2012, but yes you are right…they are LEGENDS in hip hop. For them to collaborate with BIG BANG and sing their songs in the finale was cool and a form of respect. EPIK HIGH are hilarious guys and they did get close with YG artists and still keep in touch with all of them despite leaving YGE in 2018.

LEE HI (now a former YG artist, but she has a voice I think you’ll love and she has collaborated a lot within YGE artists. She has a collar with EPIK HIGH, MINO, and BI even with BP’s Jennie (predebut Jennie. She also did a Xmas subunit collab with Park Bom as well as a sub-unit with AKMU’s Suhyun. I miss her as a YG artist, but I’m proud of her for leaving. She deserves to release her music and BE SEEN. She was not getting the same attention and treatment (isn’t that the same story for a good amount of YGE artists from past artists to even now. 😆)
AKMU/AKDONG MUSICIAN (couldn’t perform because Suhyun curfew due to her age at the time)
WINNER (didn’t debut yet at the time)

The world was ready for Bigbang. The difference is they chose not to sell out to the western market and VIPS did not shove them to everyone's faces.
Because we wanted genuine love for their music and that is what makes this fandom the most loyal one. We didn't want anything less than genuine love for their craft.

Such memories.... I went to Japan to watch the YG family concert and it was soooo much fun. I miss the old YG family.
YG Family Concerts are one of the best especially the 2014 one which was unfortunately also the last... every group has their own mini-show, the 2nd part of the show is where they collaborate, cover and perform with each other, and lastly on the Encore part is where everyone comes out and slay the stage together. Most YG artists fans dream of having another one of those family concerts.
Also, about iKON actually they weren't iKON yet during these concert. They were still trainees called Team B, WIN had just finished and WINNER had just debuted. YG included them in the concert because there were already a clamour for them and also as part of their training.

I just watch this one with Dorian Gray but I'm happy to watch it with u, felt like I have a friends beside me rewatching BIGBANG live performance haha...

If you look at the full version of this concert, you will find a small section where Bigbang does Acapella live. They did "Let's Talk About Love" and hyped up their maknae. I could not ever get over that acapella.

Thank you for the reaction. Your smile at the beginning made me think of a child about to open their Christmas present - and I knew I had the same smile too. To me, BIGBANG are perfection. These 5 very distinct individuals coming together with such amazing chemistry and trust in each other. I recently read/heard GD saying something about how they know each others colours so well. Watching this, it makes perfect sense. They use each individual's talent so well and really understand and accept each other, coming together to create this one amazing entity, full of personality. The show always ends too soon for me as well.
I said this a lot n i will say it again,, Bigbang lives always n always no one overshadowed anyone, everyone so attractive, everyone so energetic, everyone vocal are so steady, the team work, the chemistry, the confident, the stage present, the expressions, everything so natural, so all out, so much fun love them so much 💛💛💛💛💛 love u too hurraira 💛

This is in 2014. The year in which Ikon and Winner fought it out for their chance to debut........Ikon debut in 2015........so here they are just trainees.......so for them and Winner to get a chance to perform with Big Bang and other YG Artists their songs was a major highlight......and Taeyang and GD were trainers for these 2 groups.................

Aww thank you so much for this! I was planning to watch it until I hit 2 miles in the treadmill but since it was so much fun I watch the entire 1 hr 18 minutes singing and laughing at the gym. Thank you, thank you for this reaction! I totally love the segment where Bigbang collaborated with the other artists on their songs. As for their parody dance of 2NE1's I Love You, in their early early concerts, they always had a comedy segment where we got all those brilliant kdrama parodies like Secret Garden and Coffee Prince. They did dress up as girls to do a parody dance to a girl group called SES song. GD is gorgeous as a girl but we already know that. TOP dressed up as a girl is really your worst nightmare 😂! This was truly YG’s golden era. The roster of artists and level of stage presence and TALENT they had during this period was just insane. And with Bigbang at the forefront… I’m so glad I was there to witness it cos it’s not like this anymore these days 🥲

Don’t get me wrong.. I would love for it to happen. I trust and know YGE Artists would genuinely enjoy having a concert together. OG YG FAMILY concerts were fun and everybody supported all artists.
But nowadays… I just don’t trust the the bad apples in the fandoms. I already have stories of bad experiences of certain fandoms sabotaging or belittling others at events. There’s always a fight or issue that breaks out.. comparing success or who makes the most money for YGE. Unfortunately, there’s no unity of supporting all artists like it was back then, it has become a battle field. It is like I want to restore my faith in all fandoms, but at the same time.. I just see insane tweets or comments of belittling/disrespecting YGE senior artists and vice versa constantly and I’m just like NO.. this is not it. 😂

WINNER and BLACKPINK has some playful and sibling like interactions, but like I said the fandoms nowadays just ruin those interactions. Indeed. They're all so handsome. During their time, I think, you don't have to have that certain look to be an idol. Like the cutesy ones that the present idols have. I mean I could hardly identify each members in an idol group today because they almost look alike. 😅 Opposite to bigbang where you can easily distinguish each member cause they have different types of "handsomeness". GD is pretty, Taeyang is manly, Seungri is cute, Daesung is sexy and Top...Top is just...perfect. 🥵🫠 Yeah. He's not human. 😂
P.S. Same goes with their vocals, even if you just listen to the audio, you would know who is singing.

Ooo good question, Bigbang for sure their energy is unmatchable, plus they arent really 'idolly' with matchy matchy outfits or over the top choreography (that is also nice, but very diff), the only other concert that I found to be similar in impact, feel and energy was Shinhwa's 💛🧡
@@HurrairaJamal I'm planning to asked that question also coz I already see you from gen 1, I know mostly of gen1 to gen2 bcoz of running man, but the group that got a place in my heart is BIGBANG only no one else, I like shinhwa but not the same as I love BIGBANG... I was wondering this, too. I was thinking if I might just be delusional believing that BIGBANG is the greatest KPop boy group there is bcos of my bias & bcos I haven’t really explored many boy groups. It’s good to hear from Hurraira, who has explored a lot of groups, that BIGBANG indeed reigns supreme & that I am not delusional 😆

Suengri and Taeyang seem to do the most talking, right? GD, Daesung, and TOP are pretty reticent about their words. Not that I mind at all.
I just want to add about Bad Boy and Lies released at the same time. That's not correct. I was a one year old VIP when Bad Boy released with Blue on Alive EP at 2012 so I kind of remember that was out as new song and MV"s back then while Lies already released as their break out hit on 2007.
In YG Family Concerts, artists cover their labelmate's songs. Or something like a parody cover performance of the song.
Hence you get funny scenes from them.
Big bang would definitely be bigger than bts... but we live in different times, big bang will always be kings of kpop.

Yoon holds the record for most wins for idols on King of Masked Singer. He's actually a better vocalist than Daesung due to his range.
