16years in the industry, scandals, years of hiatus and inactivities, and BIGBANG can still produce this high quality of work. That's one of the reasons why they stay relevant up to this day. Even if they don't show up for years, people can still look forward to their comeback because their quality of work never fails. They're not afraid to be different, when everyone used pop-dance type of song, here BigBang comes with retro rock-ballad type of song and without a freaking chorus. But whatever it is i'm glad that people are enjoying the song, and i'm very happy to see they're finally coming back VIPS be like, "ok rest all you want, go wherever you want to go, just don't forget to visit us once in a while, we will wait no matter how long it takes, because we actually prefer your health and happiness first" That kind of acceptance.
cRAZY how all of them is so DIFFERENT yet so perfect together. and GDRAGON tho... he's just born to perform, to be an artist, definitely can't see him being something else and on a different route compared to the other members. There's no group LITERALLY no other group where there are 5 very distinctly different voices, personalities & personas yet when all 5 of them come together, they create this entity that is so wholesome & unparalleled. Cherish them while they are still performing. There will be K-pop groups gaining more success in terms of achievements & accolades but make no mistake, there won't be another BIGBANG. Yes, it’s T.O.P beatboxing. In fact, there’s an entire performance where GD&T.O.P beatboxed to replace the whole audio because the sound system broke down. I think it was their “Wonderful” performance in “The Real” concert? It was legendary.

Their journey has honestly been such a painful one and they've been through so much... Looking back on videos where they were five and happy are painful, but those happy moments also bring back such warm memories for fans who were with them during that time. I know it was a bit uncomfortable or painful to see "Alone", but I'm glad you watched it. For many of us, it brings back really good memories. Ri was always such a dorky maknae that they loved to tease a lot on a daily basis, but you can see how much they love him and how much he loves them.
The five lines at the end of Still Life hold significance as it represents all five members. It was even mentioned during one of their vlives. It’s quite the statement. OT5 for life.
I wanted to thank you for doing this, you just made me cry once again. You see, Act Motte world tour of gdragon is one of the most haunting time for vips. He was in his lowest state touring for almost 2 years, he lost so much weight and then the event when we almost lost T.O.P and all the media against them. GD edured it all. You should see the Act motte 3 but as a Gd stan i can't watch it twice. My heart is broken for this Man. My most favorite song of GD is (DIVINA COMMEDIA AND SUPERSTAR) he was pouring his depression in these two songs. It was Raw and hauntingly beautiful.
The crying started at 58:25 . BIGBANG became part of my life in 2009 and not gonna lie, its been hard and sad at times. Such as now, Motte era was also a very difficult time, I don't know how GD managed to do that tour. But i would choose to become a VIP all over again if i could. What gives me hope is that every time things got hard, BIGBANG came back even stronger, this time it might take a little longer but i feel they will. He told us in Still Life but who could have guessed then that’s what he meant. untitled 2014 was written by GD in 2014 when he broke up with his longtime gf, he said in an interview that he wrote it when he was in love and since he isn't in love with anyone in 2017 (when he released it) it's about heartbreak and his whole kwon ji yong album is just very personal and a description of who he is and what he's feeling at the time in his life. This is the first time I'm listening to their debut song. I think what I really like about more senior kpop groups is they sing with their real voices. Like you can tell who is singing.

Yeah Daesung is sooooo underrated. He can outsing most of those who win in those polls, which let's admit are just popularity polls at the end of the day. Edit: Lalala might be outdated now, but back in the day it was revolutionary in kpop. It was a slap in the face of cookie-cutter factory-produced pretty-faced kpop groups back then. They changed the game and broke the pattern, enabling many other groups to dare to be different. And T.O.P is actually an award winning actor. His movies are good as well. My favorite is 71: Into the Fire, a war movie (from a true story) about a group of students at a school who were forced to fight the invading North so the South can win the war.

You guys never know how hard it is for me and my bestie to go to the cybercafe after school just to listen to Big Bang's song. Cus I didn't have the money to buy an album. and next year my mom bought me a cell phone because i graduated with good grades. then i went straight to the mp3 store and put all the bigbang songs mp3. At that time, not many people here knew about kpop. They said did I listen to Chinese mp3 songs? Haha. Too many memories with my bestie and bigbang songs, I hope she is always fine even though we are no longer friends. And also my mom who understands I'm a VIP. Wish my mom happy in heaven right now. THANK YOU for your reactions..... i love it when Bigbang can give so much emotions to the reactors, cuz that's what Bigbang did to me and my co-VIPs. Their songs made me feel so connected to them, they can make me happy, dance and jump, and they can make me sad at the same time, to look at my youth and future, to realize what I'm missing, to admit my flaws and be better. They are surely an incredible artist to convey those emotions to ppl who listens to them. the first video I've watched from Bigbang (MAMA 2015) made me feel FREEDOM, the way they express themselves is exactly what I want a performer should be. @@DeeRealGee , Top’s marijuana scandal happened at that time. And also his suicide attempt, so GD was affected by it too, obviously, as his friend and band mate. The whole Korea was hating on Top. So GD was stressing a lot, I’m sure he was worried for Top, he lost a lot of weight too, when he was already too skinny. The fans were super worried for him, you could basically see his bones. In his MOTTE documentary it was shown he went to a doctor, who advised him to gain the weight he lost. And he had an album release and a world tour in those conditions. He was also depressed. So yeah, that tour was really hard. It makes me sad to watch his performances from that tour, you can see he was in emotional distress.
@@alinac6068 despite all the dificulty of the tour I think it was good for him to feel in person the love of fans . I was at the Paris concert and no one left , people called his name over and over . He come back 2-3 times and got of stage , letting people touch him . I am sure it did him good to receive energy from VIP .

Because Big Bang have always had to fight to be heard.....You wont find them on any of those best lists, ever. Thats why I always think of them as Superstars becuase they are better than a list. I've been following along your BIGBANG journey and I wanted to say how much I enjoy watching your reactions and hearing how well you articulate your thoughts. I too grew up on RnB listening to those artists you had mentioned in the video so I would highly recommend a couple of Taeyang's other solo MVs "Wedding Dress" and "I Need a Girl" (which features GD). These songs are what got me into and hooked on to Kpop and made Taeyang my first and to this day ult bias because those two songs in particular and how smooth Taeyang dances kept making me think of him as the Korean Usher, who is one of my favorite artists of all time

The excitement of Bigbang's comeback is filled with lots of sadness for many fans, they did this comeback as a promise n a closure to fans after 4 yrs disappearance. hence it is also just 1 single ballet comeback song with no promotion at all n this song has strong meanings in lyrics, even the scenes there's many hidden meanings including the 4 chairs (fans pointed out that Daesung sitting on 3rd chair symbolises 4th chair for Seungri, n the 4th chair is slightly broken symbolises the current state of Seungri) + 1 director chair fm GDragon's solo World Tour prior the long hiatus, n the final logo of 5 horizontal lines. I really miss them so much especially Bigbang's leader GDragon, my super bias who is composer, song writer, n producer since age 21, n he basically carved out the blueprint of current Kpop standard including creating fandom light sticks as he said he wanted to see all the fans in their concerts so VIP light stick is the 1st Kpop light stick, n he pave the way for Kpop into the World since 2010s. Bigbang r filled with multi-talents, creativity, swag, best live performance kpop group known, their cool. savage, honest n fun characteristics n brotherhood. So this 1 comeback song is like a chapter closure n to make a clear statement that Bigbang is always 5! In the mv, apart fm showing 4 chairs + 1 GD's director chair n the ending same Bigbang's MADE logo of 5 horizontal lines, some fans said that GD's umbrella (black on top n colorful inside) represents Seungri as GD has painted an abstract painting for Seungri whereby he painted it with all different colours n then on top of it covered with black color, when Seungri asked what it means GD explained to Seungri that he is the colors behind the black n ask him to look into his hearts (GD is such a deep, beautiful n artistic person). Seungri is the baby of the band. he was always trying to do more than just singing but I felt like he was never sure what he was supposed to do... he was always the jokester or baddy of the bunch and he did that well. but I beleive he is probably the most serious of them all. He was only a young man when he dropped his first song. Not sure when these came out... But he still had alot of growing up to do... Waiting for him to come home.
Yeah I don't think seungri is evil but he's highly ambitious and make poor judgement to be ignorant at that situation. He has growing up to do and his bad judgement needs punishment too.

VIPs rarely participated in the polls because on Twitter BIGBANG was everybody’s punching bag. So we didn’t want to set BIGBANG up. But now since Still Life has been released & it shot straight to the top of Korean charts & set all kinds of records along the way, things have gotten a little better & BIGBANG is better respected. (with most fandoms, there are still some that just hate to hate) But we just stick to our own side of Twitter & try not to get involved in that stuff.

I cried with still life too... I still tear up and I've watched it so many times. The song just feels like goodbye to me... I'm not saying they are breaking up goodbye, but it's like a goodbye to something, I can't explain it better than that.

16years in the industry, scandals, years of hiatus and inactivities, and BIGBANG can still produce this high quality of work.
That's one of the reasons why they stay relevant up to this day.
Even if they don't show up for years, people can still look forward to their comeback because their quality of work never fails. They're not afraid to be different, when everyone used pop-dance type of song, here BigBang comes with retro rock-ballad type of song and without a freaking chorus. But whatever it is i'm glad that people are enjoying the song, and i'm very happy to see they're finally coming back

There's no group LITERALLY no other group where there are 5 very distinctly different voices, personalities & personas yet when all 5 of them come together, they create this entity that is so wholesome & unparalleled. Cherish them while they are still performing. There will be K-pop groups gaining more success in terms of achievements & accolades but make no mistake, there won't be another BIGBANG. Yes, it’s T.O.P beatboxing. In fact, there’s an entire performance where GD&T.O.P beatboxed to replace the whole audio because the sound system broke down. I think it was their “Wonderful” performance in “The Real” concert? It was legendary.

He never had a girlfriend and GD suggested they cast Min Hyo Rin for his 1AM m/v and she might be his first kiss and first girlfriend, they broke up, and he wrote Eyes, Nose, Lips, and he put her face on the billboard of that m/v and got back together, got married, and now have a beautiful son together ❤️

Their journey has honestly been such a painful one and they've been through so much... Looking back on videos where they were five and happy are painful, but those happy moments also bring back such warm memories for fans who were with them during that time. I know it was a bit uncomfortable or painful to see "Alone", but I'm glad you watched it. For many of us, it brings back really good memories. Ri was always such a dorky maknae that they loved to tease a lot on a daily basis, but you can see how much they love him and how much he loves them.
The five lines at the end of Still Life hold significance as it represents all five members. It was even mentioned during one of their vlives. It’s quite the statement. OT5 for life.

I wanted to thank you for doing this, you just made me cry once again. You see, Act Motte world tour of gdragon is one of the most haunting time for vips. He was in his lowest state touring for almost 2 years, he lost so much weight and then the event when we almost lost T.O.P and all the media against them.
GD edured it all.
You should see the Act motte 3 but as a Gd stan i can't watch it twice. My heart is broken for this Man.
My most favorite song of GD is (DIVINA COMMEDIA AND SUPERSTAR) he was pouring his depression in these two songs.

The crying started at 58:25 . BIGBANG became part of my life in 2009 and not gonna lie, its been hard and sad at times. Such as now, Motte era was also a very difficult time, I don't know how GD managed to do that tour. But i would choose to become a VIP all over again if i could. What gives me hope is that every time things got hard, BIGBANG came back even stronger, this time it might take a little longer but i feel they will. So here i'll be still waiting for them... all of them. 👑👑👑👑👑
*Seungri - "Alone"* is one of his songs in The Great Seungri Album, and that's when he is literally alone while his brothers were on military / inactive ~ so, that song probably what he felt that time, alone without the other 4 members.

Lalala might be outdated now, but back in the day it was revolutionary in kpop. It was a slap in the face of cookie-cutter factory-produced pretty-faced kpop groups back then. They changed the game and broke the pattern, enabling many other groups to dare to be different.
And T.O.P is actually an award winning actor. His movies are good as well. My favorite is 71: Into the Fire, a war movie (from a true story) about a group of students at a school who were forced to fight the invading North so the South can win the war.

It's never too late. Thanks to the internet, we have a few decades of moments and music available to us. It's been 14 years since I found them and they are a group I'll cherish until the end of my life for many reasons; but it's never too late to become a VIP and join us on the flower road.
You guys never know how hard it is for me and my bestie to go to the cybercafe after school just to listen to Big Bang's song. Cus I didn't have the money to buy an album. and next year my mom bought me a cell phone because i graduated with good grades. then i went straight to the mp3 store and put all the bigbang songs mp3. At that time, not many people here knew about kpop. They said did I listen to Chinese mp3 songs? Haha. Too many memories with my bestie and bigbang songs, I hope she is always fine even though we are no longer friends. And also my mom who understands I'm a VIP. Wish my mom happy in heaven right now. I cried twice while watching this reaction : first, the Alone vid. I've never dared watching a live performance because I knew I would cry for sure. Seeing all these moments with the 5 of them happy and knowing all they've been through was really painful to me... And then Still Life. Because it's Still Life... But I'll wait till next spring for the flowers to bloom again.

GD really was struggling, you guess it right. His MOTTE tour was probably the hardest and the saddest, both for him and VIPs.

@@DeeRealGee , Top’s marijuana scandal happened at that time. And also his suicide attempt, so GD was affected by it too, obviously, as his friend and band mate. The whole Korea was hating on Top. So GD was stressing a lot, I’m sure he was worried for Top, he lost a lot of weight too, when he was already too skinny. The fans were super worried for him, you could basically see his bones. In his MOTTE documentary it was shown he went to a doctor, who advised him to gain the weight he lost. And he had an album release and a world tour in those conditions. He was also depressed. So yeah, that tour was really hard. It makes me sad to watch his performances from that tour, you can see he was in emotional distress.
@@alinac6068 despite all the dificulty of the tour I think it was good for him to feel in person the love of fans . I was at the Paris concert and no one left , people called his name over and over . He come back 2-3 times and got of stage , letting people touch him . I am sure it did him good to receive energy from VIP .

I've been following along your BIGBANG journey and I wanted to say how much I enjoy watching your reactions and hearing how well you articulate your thoughts. I too grew up on RnB listening to those artists you had mentioned in the video so I would highly recommend a couple of Taeyang's other solo MVs "Wedding Dress" and "I Need a Girl" (which features GD). These songs are what got me into and hooked on to Kpop and made Taeyang my first and to this day ult bias because those two songs in particular and how smooth Taeyang dances kept making me think of him as the Korean Usher, who is one of my favorite artists of all time

The excitement of Bigbang's comeback is filled with lots of sadness for many fans, they did this comeback as a promise n a closure to fans after 4 yrs disappearance. hence it is also just 1 single ballet comeback song with no promotion at all n this song has strong meanings in lyrics, even the scenes there's many hidden meanings including the 4 chairs (fans pointed out that Daesung sitting on 3rd chair symbolises 4th chair for Seungri, n the 4th chair is slightly broken symbolises the current state of Seungri) + 1 director chair fm GDragon's solo World Tour prior the long hiatus, n the final logo of 5 horizontal lines. I really miss them so much especially Bigbang's leader GDragon, my super bias who is composer, song writer, n producer since age 21, n he basically carved out the blueprint of current Kpop standard including creating fandom light sticks as he said he wanted to see all the fans in their concerts so VIP light stick is the 1st Kpop light stick, n he pave the way for Kpop into the World since 2010s. Bigbang r filled with multi-talents, creativity, swag, best live performance kpop group known, their cool. savage, honest n fun characteristics n brotherhood. So this 1 comeback song is like a chapter closure n to make a clear statement that Bigbang is always 5! In the mv, apart fm showing 4 chairs + 1 GD's director chair n the ending same Bigbang's MADE logo of 5 horizontal lines, some fans said that GD's umbrella (black on top n colorful inside) represents Seungri as GD has painted an abstract painting for Seungri whereby he painted it with all different colours n then on top of it covered with black color, when Seungri asked what it means GD explained to Seungri that he is the colors behind the black n ask him to look into his hearts (GD is such a deep, beautiful n artistic person). YG has said formerly that Bigbang made YG not the other way round, even to date Bigbang pretty much runs YG not the other way round, once Bigbang renew contract YG share price shot up, once they did a Comeback YG share price shot up, now investors speculate Bigbang's "Still Life" may signifies disbandment, YG share price drops n YG has to quickly clarifies Bigbang is still around. I'm hoping that in future the great leader King GD will regroup his Bigbang troupe, I feel that GD knows Seungri is a great guy, n feel that GD will either have real Bigbang5 comeback or forever No comeback! GD is the coolest swag multi-talented guy with backbone n a great caring leader to his team, hail to King GD! I earnestly look forward to their reunion for a real comeback in future with all 5 which they will do concerts with their powerful live performances n appear in music variety shows that make u laugh so hard, I miss their fun synergy so very much. For now I can only look forward to their solos especially my super bias King GD, hope they will all at least hv real solo comeback to VIPs open arms, that includes attending music shows, solo concerts, as we really miss them so much for so long, they r just unbeatable n irreplaceable! 🥺❤👑 🌸🙏

Seungri is the baby of the band. he was always trying to do more than just singing but I felt like he was never sure what he was supposed to do... he was always the jokester or baddy of the bunch and he did that well. but I beleive he is probably the most serious of them all. He was only a young man when he dropped his first song. Not sure when these came out... But he still had alot of growing up to do... Waiting for him to come home.
Yeah I don't think seungri is evil but he's highly ambitious and make poor judgement to be ignorant at that situation. He has growing up to do and his bad judgement needs punishment too.

VIPs rarely participated in the polls because on Twitter BIGBANG was everybody’s punching bag. So we didn’t want to set BIGBANG up. But now since Still Life has been released & it shot straight to the top of Korean charts & set all kinds of records along the way, things have gotten a little better & BIGBANG is better respected. (with most fandoms, there are still some that just hate to hate) But we just stick to our own side of Twitter & try not to get involved in that stuff.
