Let’s be honest guys. This man is making us wanted to become an architect.
I know right HAHAHA
It makes us APPRECIATE and well be inspired of that profession.. Soooo Engineers secure the house and architects design the whole house, modernity guys..MODERNITY and SCIENCE, It's like engineering have alot of tasks it needed a brother whose passionate of art (or just have too much on his plate) 'coz engineering is not that passionate of art or fashion youknow art indicates progress and fashion, which is misused, indicates positive flow of teamwork..enginneers, as I've observed my dad, only cares or just wants to make sure that the house is safe (civil) and the area where it's going to be built is safe (I don't what field/type of engineering it is) that's why we often have alot of engineers in one project, but as I have indicated, architects are their art inspired brothers and they are and should always be part of the team

We all start at some point that we aren't really that good at something. But if you try to practice even more I know you will be looking back at your old renders. You'll be saying you've improve a lot. Practice makes perfect. Keep doing what you're doing because you are the best.

The Ginger Bread was in New Town Plaza Hotel - Baguio City, if I am not mistaken? I saw it during our client's wedding in that Hotel.

I learned that I need to learn sketch up soon. Thanks for sharing, it gives me an idea on the type of work I will do when I graduate architecture.

nearly finished my first year studying architecture and I really enjoy watching your videos and using your advices. I would really apreciate a video in which you show us your workflow, starting with sketches and showing the programs you use to do your floorplans, renderings and 3d models. Soon I also have to apply for my internship (half a year) and I would really like to know about yours and maybe some tips on how to choose the right architecture office.

If you're interested in the overall design of the whole house or building, choose architecture, if you're interested in interior spaces choose interior design:)

I used sketchup for modelling, Vray for rendering, and photoshop for editing the renders:)

You're welcome! Sloped terrain in easier than flat in my opinion since the terrain already gives your house a unique quality which you can take advantage of:)
An Existential tale..

I'm about to start my Architecture class this August. I'm wondering do you really need to be "creative" in order to be a great Architect?
I've always struggled to think "creatively" (e.g. make a original design of something) whenever I am asked to do so. I want to know if this could be learned sa school if not then am I doomed for picking Architecture as a course?

For me, I believe designing is easy for architecture, though I'm not an architect so I have absolutely no idea what I'm spouting off... It's the practicality that troubles me

I think we shouldn't be sorry with how our render turns out.
I believe this may not be part of the profession, because space planning & designing could already cost us so much time.
Or we could ask help for someone with passion on renderings whether they're architect or not.
Rendering for architects is additional work load for us.

i graduated but my rendering is more horrible than yours. back when im in university software such as lumion and vrray was not available.. im in the era of transition between manual drafting and computers. but i am studying now.. im coping up.. hopefully soon i will beast in rendering

Hi kuya llyan, i’m currently a 2nd year Architecture student and i tend to lose confidence within my works because i’m not really good in exterior designs but I very much excel when it comes in the interior spaces. And i’m thinking to shift from interior design instead. Would it be good to shift to interior design even if it is not in demand here in PH?
