Llyan: "this is rushed"
it still looks rly nice for a rushed work dhsjsjks
@Angeline Repil Same. Im scared too, especially after seeing this video 😂😅 his works look really good but he still got a failed grade. How much more if i make it 😳
@Angeline Repil as an architecture student, its a tough field to study. But it can be so much fun to get your creative juices going especially with friends.
Thank you!! You should have seen my classmate's works haha!:) They were killing it!
@@LlyanAustria I'm in my last year and I know exactly what you're talking about.
@@SayaliNikumbh is it scary there?
Who here is in high school and came here to see how the life of a architecture student is
Here haha
Here lol. Haha
u got me 🤣
Wkwk
Push nio arki guys. Arki student akez hahaha
I am currently a first-year arki student and I keep on getting grades of 70 and the highest i've got so far is 83. Everytime I feel like giving up, I watch Llyan's videos and decided to keep on going.
You can do it pal!!:) I believe in you!:)
You can do it!!!
Iam kinda scared now
I'm a first year too! kaya natin toooh! Go Arki Squads!
Hey it's just the beginning! we're all working in progress and those 70s doesn't end ur future!!! Wag ka mastress sa mga galing ng classmates mo although, hindi siya maiiwasan but the thing is that we have our own timeline! I strongly believe in that. Success is subjective!! Good luck
“super rush” “drawing done by a child”
u kiddin right?
Me drawing stick figures
"This is rushed"
Fun Fact: Every Architecture Student's Plate is made right before deadline
this is so me last year
You can't really judge a person by how his/her performance in school. Just like this guy. Receiving lowest or even failed grades. But then boom. Top 5 in the Architecture Board Exam. Kudos Kuya. You inspired me in my upcoming board exam 💗
I admire how you share your failures to give your viewers a valuable lesson. Many successful influencers nowadays will try their best to make themselves look perfect but here you are, enjoying reminiscing those times when you are struggling. You just laugh at it right now because you've learned your lesson. Such an awesome person! God bless and more power!
3rd Yr. college architecture student na ko... pero ngayon ko talaga narealize na hindi mo kailangan maging magaling during college ang mahalaga you gain knowledge about it. I stan!
You're kidding me . Your drawings look like a professional work to me . I'd probably fail in everything 🙂.

Lmao
Currently taking my first year of Architecture and I feel so scared knowing that I'll be studying through online class, especially the math parts. I'm not that confident on my drawings and sometimes I can't help but compare mine to others. That's why I keep on watching sir Llyan's videos and take notes while on it. I feel so inspired whenever I watch his videos.
How are u going through architecture. I gonna start my first year, but I am worried
This man always have something to make video upon. Well the drawings are so amazing
Thank you!!:)
I agreee!!!
5:55
Him: im so ashamed for this one
Me: DUDE THAT WAS EPIC
wow this was actually my request on your previous video and you actually made a video about your old school projects. thank you Arch. Llyan for inspiring us always! :)))
Glad i could inspire you, and thank you for the suggestion!:)
Yehey, maybe some of those plates could be transferred to sims 4? hehe
Great idea!!:)
Please do a “Redesigning my old architecture plates”
Thank you for motivating your arki student viewers! 😢😂😁
Glad you guys got motivated!:)
Yolanda took mine back in 2013. I'll show this video to my students to inspire them to never give up
Thank you for sharing my video to your students!:)
6:47 ?? 3 hours and the drawing still looks organized and beautiful. How did u do that : O That's amazing, man!
Thank you pal! if you look closer it has a ton of mistakes haha!:)
I am glad i am watching Llyan because i want to dual major in architecture and architectural engineering, and his videos just seem to help me keep drawing no matter what.
This is so scary, imagine when you will be making this in collage.
5:25 it's so good and I think the drafting is to show what is good or bad and to show the customer is not Attach it to the wall
Llyan : This is probably rushed, it doesn’t look good at all
Me :
Me : Llyan don’t flex on me like taht;-;
It's the truth tho!:)
Such an inspiration ✨ Im a nursing student but architecture has a place in my heart 💖
Glad i could inspire you pal!!:)
Dude you're way to great . Im at my 2nd year Of architecture and I admit that Im sucks at drawings and in scaled model design . But your words especially in the last part really moved me . Thank you for encouraging us especially me . I promise to give my best . God bless you .
You may notice that sometimes he points out that certain drawings look rushed but apparently they don’t for most people, this is because when you continuously learn drafting and visual techniques, your standards for drawing and perspective gets a bit higher. Also, for most students, rushed works turn out to be more appealing, maybe because of adrenaline with the rush of energy and ideas as you draw.
i was procrastinating all day and I saw your video, i'm really motivated again to do my plates and im starting right now haha. thank you mr. llyan!
-2nd yr arki student
*LOVE* this video! I always cringe looking over my first-year work - thank god I improved in my second year and graduated with a first.
Your drawings and archi-writing are sooo neat! I like the hand renderings too! Nice video!
Thank you!! and Congratulations for graduating with a first!!:)
@@LlyanAustria Thank you, that's very kind! Notifications are on for the next video! :)
@@LlyanAustria so much respect for you supporting fans!
I learned from the past mistakes. So, whenever you are failing just consider that as a lesson to be learned and do not give up and do not be discouraged because failures will always come your way because that is a constant in life. You will fail but make the most of your failure and learn from it and become a better person.
I start college next week... Hyped! Gonna be a great architecture student
You are going to be a great architect. Not just a great architecture student 😊
Hows college life sir??
It's been eight months, how's college been??
Its good to inspire humble architect, like you Sir. Mucho gracias
please do an q&a video where you'll talk about your personal life(like where do you garaduate, where do you live, workplace. etc). Also Architecture schools recommendations, choosing a right school, choosing your course for those who'll upcoming college like meh hehe✨
Kung choosing a school based on passing rates. Check mo lang results ng PRC ng top performing schools of your preferred course.
Although na'sayo parin kung pano mo ihandle college life mo haha. Goodluck
Thank you for the suggestion! I will add it to my video ideas list:)
This is so nice to hear from you, I am on my first-year and I love it although it’s so hard already. And now I see the difference between PH & USA views about this.
Also studying architecture, and after I watched your vlog, I realized that I really sucked at all fundamentals, yep I really sucked at it, I always got a grade of 60s.
But now I'm trying to fix my laziness😆
Just came from a burnout, watching you makes my heart feel light:)
Watching your vids makes me wanna go back to school again, i stopped due to some problems 😭 im from slu baguio and im a design 4 student. My architecture heart is beating again thanks hopefully i can enroll the next semester 🥺♥️
i watched this video when i was in high school now im in 3rd year of archi school, the projects seem so much more interesting now
I was watching your vedios after thousands views now glad be first view kk
Congratulations pal!!:)
Ive been binge watching all your videos from this channel and your other channel. You are really awesome. Keep it up, Architect!
Woah can you just imagine the time that was spent on these projects?
Some were rushed haha due to my laziness and lack of hacks:)
Llyan Austria ah you’re a man of culture as well..
Sir Austria, Really like your youtube channel... Very informative yet not boring because you mixed or injected humors in it which makes more interesting and very relatable as a viewer... Informative yet fun to watch.. A BIG fan now... Kudos to you and to your channel... 😊
this got me really excited for university although he consistently says that he had to rush most of these
How do you even have time to make videos man, you are really one of a kind. Thank you for motivating us dude! I wish u good luck in life!
Im a first year Interior Design Student and I can agree that it is really hard to get a perfect score in plates. My plates are all still basic but havent got any 100 yet 😭
I have my plates stored within tracing paper tubes to keep them preserved ;)
Just graduated from UP last June, now undergoing "diversified architectural experience" (ie apprenticeship for the laymen) lol.
Inspiration ka sa amin, keep at it architect!
I have thrown mine away. I can't stand mine lol
Haha if only i knew that i'd make a youtube channel i should have kept more of my funny fail projects!:)
Same! I threw away mine when I immediately got it back from my prof😂
Di ako architecture student or grad, pero yung mga drawing ko nung elementary ay nakatago pa rin and every time i see it nakakatuwa isipin na nung bata ka pa marunong ka pala gumuhit. I don’t know pero isa siguro ako sa mga taong marunong gumuhit.
My first year was like, "it's no longer architecture. It's archiTorture"
Now in 2nd yr, Everything was changed when I already wholly appreciate the life of arki students ;) smile kahit kulang sa tulog. Smile kahit lutang sa klase 😂
Haha the turning point in every arki student's life!:)
So 'ayun, may nakita akong MNLoves na archi student. Goodluck~♥
ilan ang math pag 1st sem and 2nd sem in 1st year? I'd like to take arki this incoming sy pero ang bobo ko sa math huhu
@@kiahannecano3618 i- same hahahaa
Sairah Jane Delmo so ayun po 1st year Architecture student na ako HAHAHAHAHA kahit bobo sa math
Kamusta!
Great video you posted showing your a real person with good advice to give. If your humble then you won't have too much pie to eat.
Serious though, its a great lesson to show students that you have to learn from your mistakes to move on to better things. I studied Fine Art (BA) and after two years dropped out, and studied a vocational course in Decorating, then Plastering. It was hard, but I had learnt much about being real to myself and how real the world is. I came out better today for doing so, and am in a better position than I would have been if I carried on studying a Degree. I am successful, happy with myself and life. In the UK we have a saying "Everyday is a school day" meaning you are going to learn something new everyday, if you have a plan.
As a student I always was too caught up with what other people were doing, and its only when I believed in what I was doing did I start to succeed.
Hopefully you can show us some more videos, and I like the idea of yourself picking up one of your old projects and doing it again.
Or some blender videos in architecture!
As a plasterer, its always vital I have the height of a wall, the lengths, so I can work out the area being plastered and accurately write a quote for plastering per square meter. I see a lot of plans missing dimensions, and its annoying to have to phone the customer or go on site to measure a wall for what the architect failed to write in his plan.
Thank you for the encouraging comment pal!!:)
Please shoutout to my brother who just passed the architect licensure exam
allan basco🤙🏽
I will add this to my shoutout list pal!:)
This guy literally made me like Architectural stuff, and made it more fun
I would like to see your visual technique plates when you were still in the 1st year college
LOL but what if he used Prang to render his color wheel? Cockroaches might have eaten it already.
Unfortunately i could not find any of my early works:)
Inspire us with your archi student’s life stories (about your journey as a student, your teacher, the way they teach and your hard times being a student) i just want to be inspired by you bc i really love your vlogs💜
Thank you for the suggestion! I will add it to my video ideas list:)
Awesome video!
Every time you bring something new.. :)
Thank you!!:)
These projects are giving me a bit more confidence going into my first year

You're my favourite Architecture! You taught me a lot tqq❤❤
Glad you could learn some stuff from me pal!:)
I started watching you because soon i do want to be an architect...im pretty bad at math and im thinking of backfiring but seeing makes it willing me to go back to my childhiod dream till now^^
2:30 omo i think i'll fail in architecture. Like wtf i can't even draw like that then he only get 40/60?? i don't want to study na HAHAHAHH lol
I'm sure you can do better pal!:)
You will learn don't worry. That's the point of school; nobody is an expert on their first try.
Hahahah same feeling i cant imagine what score will i get by the way im a seniorHighschool student planning to be a architect but when i watch this i dont know what to think may the Lord Guide me 😆 😵😆
Allow yourself to learn, make room for growth you got this☺
Same feels hahaha
You should definitely remake one of these to see how far you've gone in your line of work!
"man my interior rendering looks like it was done by a child."
um, what am i then?
Kahit may mga failed grades, in the end naging 5th placer pa sa board exam. Please inspire our young gen, na hindi natatapos sa isang failed grade ang buhay. That, learning is a continuous process and we/u should never give up.

You are totally creative and smart 👍👍👍
I just saw the name of our instructor on the list. (Board exam passer) 😁😁

This video makes me inspired to become an arki. someday, thank you sir LLYAN AUSTRIA for giving us knowledge. I keep watching your videos.
"I should've spent way less time making these letterings"
Me every time I finished my plate T.T
Dude your work is amazing and truly inspiring, Im an Archi student and i wish i could like you did.
I know you can do better pal!!:)
Oww my plates.. Yes my plates, i never got them back from my profs. *sigh
That means your plates were good haha!:)
watching this really made me think about if i should really be going into civil engineering when I'm more passionate about drawing and designing than maths and problem solving
You probably should try out architecture, it's a combination of drawing and math:)
@@LlyanAustria yep, i will be :)
Llyan: took him 3 hours to do a perspective and floorplan
Me: 🙃4 hours on perspective(without ink) 2 hrs on floor plan on 1hr on lettering....🙂the hell im doing with my life
sameddttt!! how the hell he do that fast
Mark Price jaja I’m taking an architectural class in high school and my teacher told me to do to make a house and it took me 9 weeks to finish.
@@shadow_regnant3605 well your about to be welcomed in the world of hell, if your thinking about taking it in college, then its best to practice not sleeping at night and hoard alot of coffe packs😊,
Diko alam bat nanaman kita pinapanuod HAHAHA kahit BSA magiging course ko at wala akong hilig sa pag dradrawing,, napaka interesting padin talaga ng channel mo!!!😊 both channel mo sobrang gaganda ng content!!

Haha the only way to fix it!:)
Being an archi student has a lot thing to do! This scares me but fortunately I still have 2 years to prepare myself before entering univ so I'm watching tips abt archi
Can you explain every types of drawings...like so that one, that you showed....
Can you elaborate a broad perspective of these types of drawing.
Like axonometric, isometric... And so on....?
I will add it to my video ideas list:)
I'm not an archi student but I really like all of your old plates.
I'm currently in college and it's to much...I'm trying not to quit mane
You can do it pal! I believe in you!:)
I finished my first semester of architecture school a few weeks ago and wow, your school and the time in which you took classes were so much harder haha. We haven't had to hand draw anything. We use Rhino do design everything and do all the drawings.
may i know where do you study?

*me hiding in the corner*
I've been busy in school. I missed some of your videos. 😔 Now I'm back to my motivation
i am very intrested with architecture
but i need to know
when you're imagining that structure, Does it need a floor plan before the perspective on that structure?
I wish I watched this video back then when I was so depressed in uni. I thought I was so suck (still i am), and doesn’t deserve in there. But after I watch this vid, hey people can learn. I wish i learn more then just being depressed

Glad i could motivate you pal!!:)
@@LlyanAustria Actually you inspire me too Kuya!😊
what if my grades on my plates is always 5/10 or sometimes 6/10...like, i don't know if architecture will finish me at any time now hahahahaha

THANK YOUUUU...you motivate me a lot hahahahaha
Thank you Arc. Llyan! hehehe im also taking Architecture but Naval Architecture so basically we do some ship design.. and thank you for the motivation by the way 🙂
I really wanted to become an Architect ever since. pero ayun na nga, alam na "Family Influences" . I ended up taking Nursing.😳 WTF. 😭
Same, because of my family I ended up in Civil Engineering. Worst Decision Ever
I was in the middle of a self-crisis but then saw this vid. BTW I'm a 3rd-year arki student and recently I find myself uninterested in improvements, in short tamad. The exact words I wanna hear is in this video. Thank You Sir Llyan 👌❤
If I can say so myself as a 5th year graduating student of BS Architecture... my advice to people who wish to take Architecture in college, be prepared mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and all the -ally you can think of. Learn to manage your time, experience construction first hand, learn CADD, Lumion, SKP ahead of time etc. I can tell you won't even find it a problem of having no sleep just be sure you can handle piles of work cramped in a deadline all in one day. Positive thing about it is, you learn so much, meet new friends, and even earn a bit of cash from the side here and there with the skills you acquired because of Architecture. Years of such good memories.
You inspire me so much in my architecture journey! Freshman College student archi here from Malayan Colleges Laguna! Keep doing videos bro♥️
While watching this im so impressed by ur works kuya llyan, today even im a 9th grader, my teacher assigns me to make plans of houses but im a bit shy to show itt HAHAHA. Ican show it privately to u. Thia vid inspired me to design more. Thanks kuya llyan
Glad i could inspire you pal!!:)
Woaaaah WIP ...Sir I do admire you..I'm a 2nd year student ..how I wish I could have your plates for reference in my studies ..🤗💙✨
This video is actually nice, it brings you back in time when architecture students struggles so hard to finish a single plate or drawings. More vids ❤❤
Glad you liked it pal!:)
Omygad I did not expect architecture would be suppperrr hardddd. I think all my creations would fail.
Very fortunate for those who took the exams from 2010 onwards.
During our time where design exam was subjective, you must also be skilled in drafting aside from being a concept designer and practical planner. The big challenge is time pressure. If you can't complete the set of plans reqd. within 8 hours, you fail. If your penmanship is bad, you fail. If you missed some vital components in the plans, you fail. incomplete requirements, you will likely fail. and you need to bring your own drafting tools and bulky table which was a major hassle for examinees that time.
We are definitely lucky!:)
Hi, I'm a freshmen arki student and our last midterm is we were task to draw floorplan and stuff but I only got 84 and I feel like i'm not good enough and that's makes me down. But thank you for showing us your plates.. I realize that it's okay to fail many times the important thing is you've learn something that'll make you improve
Thanks for motivation, I Will pursue my dream and always refer to all your useful advices, guides and techniques. 🍁😍
Glad i could inspire you pal!!:)
