Ask M&R: Why is Lego retiring the Ghost already? It’s a desirable set and for one with that price a one year run seems very short
LEGO does that with all their “flagship” sets of the summer wave and even all the sets of their waves. Most LEGO sets last only until the last day of the year after their released It’s to prevent to much sets being on the market to the point where they could compete with each other. They did the same with Gideon’s light cruiser and the Justifier. Again, it’s only retiring until December 31st, it’s a good time frame for people who want the set to get it.
Also to be clear, it’s not 100% guaranteed to retire on December 31st, it could be pushed forward. Also do keep in mind the set won’t retire on EXACTLY the 31st, as it could sell out prior.

If you wanna avoid scams on custom sets, I would avoid Republic Bricks. I am not complaining about the mystery boxes, I am talking about the order accuracy and the quality of the product. The real problem is that Timmy takes forever to either give you a refund or send you the object you paid for. Once he gets his shipping better and can improve the quality of the pieces, then I might consider him. I don't hate him, I just won't buy from him.

Ask Mandr: would you like to see more first order sets, because although the movies are bad, the stormtrooper design and some ship designs are pretty cool. I would love to see more imperial sets myself.
AskMandr: You mentioned you have not encured your LEGO Collection. As you have your own house now, are you not afraid someone is going to break into your home? Also, I would not have sets stored in the garage, as it seems easier to break into? Like if someone forgot to lock the garage door in your previous home, your whole collection could be stolen. Tbh i was really worried while making my first bricklink command but then i pushed myself and it turned out perfect ! I was scared of getting scammed but i enventually figured it's almost impossible to get scammed unless you want to lol

Odds of slave leia coming in the UCS sail Barge? Disney has been against representation. She was in the sky walker saga though. I could see them doing just jabba and one other fig since it’s a ucs set. But with the dessert skiff coming out as seemingly a companion set it would make sense for the sail barge to have a large amount of figs (Jabba, crumb, luke, leia, r2, 3po, Rebo, etc.)
Ask M&R: How do you display your Tie Interceptor from the new Tie Interceptor vs. Fang Fighter set. I don’t like how when you set it down, it bends the wings in.
- If both Lego Death Troopers and Senate Guard Commandos were formerly considered highly valued covenant mini-figures, then why is everyone fine with Death Troopers in a battle pack but not with the Senate Commandos?

@@rotzie8834 the main issue people had was the senate comando commander or whatever. Because in the show that was a main character and there was only one of them. Meaning to army build you’d get a bunch of “named” non usuable characters. They also barely showed up so people would’ve rather just had a clone legion or whatever and the demand to army build was low. I didn’t really care that much and with the death troopers I think people just don’t hold imperial stuff up to a higher standard.
I feel so stupid at times. I've been a lego collector for almost 10 years (only StarWars) and I was so caught up in the pandemic in 2020, that I forgot about all the 2019, 2020 summer sets and I only got my hands on around 6 501st battlepacks and a few other sets before they all retired :(

Similar to the one we already have with Luke and the Darth troopers, as well as the upcoming rumoured Darth Vader and Rebel Troopers set.
Went down the road of wondering how Lego could mess up Jedi Bob. He’s probably not coming with a cape right? Recent Jedi starfighters haven’t had capes. In Kenobi’s newest starfighter he had his robes printed on. Just a thought.

As one of those kids who supposedly grew up with the sequels, I can confidently say they did not make the same impression on kids as the Prequels did. The Star Wars for me and my friends was TCW, although we did think Kylo was cool. A lot of kids born in the mid-2000s were in the best age bracket for those films, yet I don't see love for them among my generation. Love your content as a dedicated TFOL.
Ask MandR: what scene from Ep 1-6 that has never been portrayed in LEGO that you want most?
Display Space is very important. I should have looked at the Dimensions of the "Shuri's Sunbird" before I got it, as it is too large for me to currently find a space for, and the pictures almost lied about the size (shot perspective matters)!
Ask M&R: I know you have a whole house and storage unit to put stuff. But where or what exactly do you do with your important lego boxes you keep. Do you flatten them or keep them as is.
What are “important” Lego boxes?
Like the big sets, and UCS sets?

For instance, I kept the boxes to the big Ghostbusters car, slave, one millennium, falcon, the bigger sets. Whereas the smaller sets like the cars and the small spaceships I recycled and tossed because they’re easier to find and they don’t have really good resale value as opposed to the big UCS sets, and the bigger sets.
Why does it seem like LSW has less scene based waves now? In the past we got waves for specific movies, battles, and planets all at once. We got things like a Droid Gunship and AT-AP for a Kashyyyk wave or Jabba's Palace, Jabba's Sail Barge, Desert Skiff, and Rancor Pit all on shelves at the same time. Recently, it feels like there have been some missed opportunities with more droid sets to pair with clones on the shelves. Even things like a Darth Vader's Tie Fighter to go with the recent X wing and Tie Fighter or a Rebel Snowspeeder to go with the UCS AT-AT would have been great! I think having logical pairings on shelves would make it a lot easier as a consumer.
Ask mandr: when is it likely to see a new not clone battle pack in the future big fan and love the channel
Ask M&R: Why have you gained interest in the Lego Star Wars trading cards again? I saw your whatnot stream for trading cards scheduled, and M&R shop with cards. Also, do you think the Trading Card market is a pump-and-dump scheme, or is this a thing that Lego fans were not paying attention to? Love your videos and love that awesome Mustafar build you reviewed a couple days earlier.
I've done rip-or-ship streams before, I'm doing one soon. I have a pretty level interest in the cards. Not recently gained. I've talked about the Rex card thing recently obviously I think it's bad and dumb that sellers are misrepresenting the potential value of an item.

Did you know the Venator polybag is actually in scale with the play scale Malevolence? I found out the Malevolence scale in universe is just over 5 Venators long and the same can be said about their LEGO counterparts!

That Darth Maul-Buying Boxes video had me thinking why buy either? You can get boxes to use for free from grocery stores like Walmart, Safeway etc. and resize them with a simple box cutter and some tape. As for the Darth Maul, it's cool to see but yeah $3200 is just too much to cut open a box. I wasn't sure what cost you more, the shipping boxes or the Darth Maul seal slices.
