After cleaning the carbs on my 1982 GS1100G (stock pipes and foam air cleaner) it still ran lean with the modern alcoholic gasoline. It doesn't help that I live at sea level. The CV carb needles aren't adjustable, but I removed the little plastic spacers on the slides. This raised the needles. Now runs perfect!

Very similar to the GS1000G which preceded it. That looks like a GS1000G manual. The GS850G was almost identical apart from engine size.
You have the wrong motorcycle, in the picture on TH-cam.
