I’m American white girl from USA and I’ve been to India many many times and I not only fell in love with the country, the people and the food, but a few products as well, one of them being Amul brand butter & ghee. I just can’t get enough of it! It’s the only butter I buy even here in America my Indian husband and I will go to the Indian grocers and buy huge boxes of amul butter. It really is utterly butterly! And the thing I love most about amul butter is the flavor. I love that it’s “real” butter and by that I mean I’m not sure about other countries but at least I’m America whenever we do but American or even European butter it’s really not butter or made with any cows milk cream but made from oils, and refined hydrogenated vegetable oils, soy bean oil and other “non milk dairy” ingredients so your not really getting “true butter” and I hate that! With amul I know I’m getting real butter. I don’t want to buy “I can’t believe it’s not butter or country crock and land o lakes” because it all just oils and oils and more oils. And it’s very tricky because it actually tastes just like butter. But it’s not and I’m not trying to say the other brands are bad honestly I love land o lakes and others but I appreciate knowing what I’m eating and I want real cow milk or buffalo milk made butter. And India everyone knows or should know they were the first people to cultivate and consume dairy and milk products. I enjoy and trust the pioneers of milk production. I also love using amul ghee on top of my popcorn it gives it that movie theater butter like flavor! I also love using amul butter in macaroni and cheese that my son and I both love the flavor that comes from the butter onto the pasta. I hope amul always gets imported into America, I’d be devistated with out such a great product. Much love from USA. And god bless Dr. Kurian Rest In Peace💐 and thank you for giving us Amul. 💓🙏🐄🥛

Dear Amul , Please make available Desalinated Butter everywhere, there's too much salt in it . Desalinated butter and white butter are difficult to get in small towns.

At 9:16 they said it requires 15 ltrs of milk to make 1 kg butter I m little confused on that 100 gm butter price in market is roughly around Rs 48-52 so 1 kg price should near to Rs 480 - Rs 520 right.... But if they requires 15 lts milk to make 1 kg butter so 500 ml full cream amul milk price is roughly around Rs 28 - Rs 30 so 15 lts cost around Rs 900 ( i.e 30*15*2) so the question is why amul sell butter at loss of Rs 380 (i.e 520-900) or this information is wrong ? 🤔 And also if we consider the bi- product i.e "whey" but I don't think so that they recover that amount from selling whey

shray shukla milk retail price is Rs. 28-30. It costs less wholesale, and since Amul is also the milk producer their cost is minimal
Data is certainly wrong you require almost 4-4.5 litres of milk to make 1 kg of butter and if it is pure milk as in village household you can get 1 kg ghee out of 4-5 litres of buffalo milk and in 6-7 litres of cow milk. They totally misled us.
@@MsChandu1995 no your data is fake. full fat cow milk contains about 6.6-6.7g fat per 100ml. so Amul is right. yes buffalo milk has 17g fat per 100ml so that will have more fat in less milk

But the cost given to farmer for 15 Litres milk is 15×30=450.
But selling price of amul butter is 440.
Then without adding any artificial ingredients how amul industries make many.

I have observed it, there is very high amount of salt in some butters packs, where as in some there are very less salt. I think they havent regulated the amount of salt that should be added to the butter.
