You two make me proud to be a Canadian!! You DEMONSTRATE the values Canadians believe in, in practice, better than any assigned Ambassador or embassy employee I have ever heard of.
Your attitudes and actions are clearly genuine and it shows in Ashley's eyes and Ben's smile - it's time you came home again - - WE need your positivity back here around BC for a bit...

Bro Canadians are not all that nice. Actually at times they are very racist. Ask any immigrant that comes to Canada. Canadian experience? Even going out to dinner takes time because they are not comfortable p. Canada is a great country but it has many faults. Sorry to say! Now don’t get defensive, just reality.

You might come to miss that sewing machine. Once you learn how to use one it is extremely easy to make fender and winch covers, kayak coves, fix clothing, etc. I love the one that Trash Santa left for me...

On the tech side, the theory is good as long you have someone reliable checking the mechanicals. Systems brake down and filters get clogged. From the amount of water you collected, there are many entryways for air from outside which is to be expected. If I was to design a boat I would make it’s cabin air tight and pressurize it with CO2, or inert gas to keep it unlivable for living organisms. Cheaper in the long run if you are going to leave the boat for a while,

Ben and Ashley, I hope you see this! A huge recall of a number of dehumidifiers has happened. Many brands are affected. Check to see if yours is one of those! There has been numerous fires from these, many causing property damage. Have the yard unplug it if that's the case. Best of luck.---Willie McSquid

Keats Island! I passed by that twice a day on the ferry for 6 years when I lived in "The Crick" and worked in W. Van! Have fun there!
The smoke is not too bad there unlike the BC interior right now.
Stay well and stay safe. I look forward you getting back to Nahoa in a few months.

That's so nice Ben. I just drove all the way across the country to Canada to cross the country to drive the Alaskan Highway and my reception was not to nice. My dad was an engineer on the Alaskan Highway in WW2 so I was going to retrace his foot steps. This the 7th Monday is the 9th and it's supposed to open up then but they told me maybe not. The Border Agents have some sort of labor dispute so they are not very nice. So your the nice Canadian. I'm heading back to Florida. I'm not happy.
