I appreciate the realism you offer coupled with the ability to recognize, understand, and appreciate what it is you have because you *know* the vision of it is anchored in truth. That isn’t because of the boat, the upgrades, the tuna, the channel, or the experiences. Instead all of these things are only possible because of the people you are surrounded by. That is the “why” and it is why it is enjoyed. That may be one of the most important things. Ultimately you seem to be grounded in people being people to other people and your idea of that is genuine and pure. I feel that I can say this because you’ve shared your truths and that is why I can believe it and root for you. It’s is apparent in the look of understanding in the thumbs up at the end. Yup it’s been said b/f but ur genuineness is excellent. Ur already 300k subs. May it grow so u can just sail on forever. I totally understand the boat thing. I live in a truck camper chasing storms for snowboarding 7 months of the year. But when I break down I don’t drift for miles I just wait for AAA! But yeah I call mine a land boat since there is ALWAYS something to fix. Be well, a little depression seems pretty normal during ur refits. I practiced as a Colorado licensed Buddhist psychotherapist for 20 years in Boulder. Meditation can be very helpful for mild depression. Just a simple concentration practice may be of help. And yoga of course. Stay human, be well.
I’m right there too guys! A little over a month until the sale of my business closes😃then renovations to the house, sell the house 🇨🇦 and take off on an epic road trip to Vancouver then Mexico. It feels like getting to the good part is taking forever. It’s nice to remember that even in paradise life is messy. We’ll get there. Great video 💕

All the feels watching this episode. Although our refit was definitely not as major as yours, we have done a LOT of improvements and it feels like the outflow of cash is never ending! But like you guys we just keep reminding ourselves of how cheap it can actually be once we are out sailing and living our best life!
