I freeze chunks of ginger so I always have it on hand. I steep ginger every day for my tea. I also pour ginger water over ice for the most refreshing drink. No need to add sugar. Berta- I would love to know how you make ginger tea.

You can freeze in a piece & grate with a microplain as needed too
did you store in a glass jar in the freezer , a plastic container or ziplock
I store it in a freezer bag; however, if you have a freezer container you can use that. Either way is fine.
