My guess is the piston was replaced without measuring the cylinder. I’ll be replacing the top end soon and checking what’s really going on in upcoming video. Stay tuned
Thank you, definitely had to learn how it works and that mod seems to be fairly common. I picked up another blaster that someone tried bypassing it as well.
If it started smoking a lot more than it usually does could be bad crank seals another possibility which is easy to check is for cracked or chipped reed petals. Make sure you don’t have big gaps of light between the petals.

2001? Same colors as my 2001. The cut wires is the tors system. You don't need that.
Very close, it’s a 2000. You are right about the tors system so I cleaned that all up and ordered the correct parts to delete it all properly.
