I've leased a variety of Grand Cherokee trims over the last 8 years. I think the Altitude over charges you for the black out and colors, its basically a Laredo. I think moving up to the Limited offers many more standard options and the price isn't much more.
Personally I’m glad they chose to keep the look clean and tasteful and not over brand it with a bunch of silly emblems saying “look at me, I have an “ALTITUDE”.

I bought a 2020 Grand Cherokee. I am very happy with it. It is really balanced. Two things I feel can be improved on is the storage in the doors sucks and for a 3.6 the gas mileage is not good. I had a 2019 Dodge Ram with a HEMI and it had better gas mileage. If I would have to do it over again I would have gotten the V8. If your gas mileage is going to be bad, might as well have the power and torque of a V8. They don't have to work as hard so wouldn't be surprised if it's the same mileage. Other than that, I am really happy with hit. It's really fun to drive.
I have a 2015 Altitude and its great. Very comfortable, my model have a dual exhaust and sunroof which made it sporty. It also included the paddle in the stealing wheel. Great reaview.
I traded in my 2016 Rubicon for this exact model (2022) - one of the last made WKs. No comparison. Very nice ride. Mine has a sunroof, full sized spare tire, and Quadratrac II. I received $1,000 off the sticker and 48 months 0% financing through Chrysler Capital. A very high-quality vehicle.
Had a 2012 Overland with the drop-down rear video screen. Black metallic, with brown leather - and a hemi. Whew, that was a great one. Traded it for a '16 Overland with the Pentastar. White, but I asked the dealer to swap in the 20" black rims, and black emblems. It's been exclusively my wife's for about 4 years and we're still well under 40k miles. I detail it to the 10s about 2x/mo. I reach all the way inside the wheels to make sure they're clean and shiny through and through. THAT detail (pardon the pun) makes all the difference. With its premium lighting, and the length of time they've been out, with relatively minor changes, I can't believe how well they age. Tomorrow, I'm expecting to close a deal on a '20 Altitude with the good stereo. That's all I need. I almost went with this color - but slightly preferred the metallic graphite. All of them have been low-mileage GCs just coming off lease. Wife's Overland has the panoramic roof (we never use it - summers in Texas? As if!).
My husband and I just came from the dealership, and we chosen this vehicle. It us such a nice ride. My husband is thinking now where to put his twinkies lol. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
The 2020 GC , same one as the video, qas the best vehicle I have ever driven as far as the feeling, looks, and comfortability goes. It's major downside however, was the lack of tech or internal gadgets that came with. Just felt super lackluster as far as features offered or entertainment goes
You should see how the combo Overland Altitude equipment … in 2021, Velvet Red body color. Awesome, I know cause that’s what I have! 4x4 Full-Time as well!
Altitude is an upgraded Laredo package. They delete the Laredo badge, but no replacement badge. There is also an Altitude X package. Quadra-trac I and II 4WD is also available. The engine is longitudinally mounted not transverse. Killer Package for the money. Almost 600-mile cruising range. You can also get a trailering package if you ordered one. The WK2 platform was made for 11 years and all bugs have been worked out - parts will be readily available for years to come. The Jeep Wrangler really holds its' value in the used car market, but the Grand Cherokee depreciates more quickly. A 3- to 4-year-old Grand Cherokee is a good value in the used car market.

True.should be dual outlets.specially theres an empty opening on that left side. but you only have to move up to the limited or limited X for dual exhausts.SRT almost double in price.
there are at least two trim levels, Overland and Summit between this and the Trackhawk. I have a 2014 Overland 6 cyl that has been bullet proof. These are really on Mercedes chassis. They will be full of Fiat in the next generation, wouldn't touch one! Enjoyed your review--e
You Should review the High Altitude Grand Cherokee Also the high trim levels of Grand Cherokees can have optional 5.7 Hemi V8. Overland High Altitude Summit. Limited X and the Trailhawk.
The crazy part is i had a 2018 of the exact same model and color. Nothing changed in 2 years. Like literally the only thing is the trim around the infotainment center. That’s it. Dead serious.
No way. JEEPS need 4 wheel drive and trail rated badges. Want dual exhaust and a cool engine cover , upgrade to the 5.7 Hemi. This is a grocery store suv. Review and compare with a trail hawk, you will get the badging on the back.
It always blows my mind how they somehow get the 7 grills to look even and symetrical even tho it's an odd amount. Idk why that illusion is so trippy to me lol just cool how they get them to look symetrical

Better gas mileage in a ram with a v8 makes no sense to me. My dad has a hemi ram and I have a gc with 3.6 and I get 6-7 mpg’s better than he does

I've had 16 Anniversary Limited, 17 Trailhawk, 18 High Altitude, and 19 Altitude. The higher models are quieter and feel better on the road.
