How long i don't see your videos dude, i remember when i have 7 or 8 years old, i watch every video of this channel, and a love how this make part of my life.
Very pleasing to see this in my subscription collection. The dragon fruit reminds me very much of Audrey Two, a musical play my kid has been in a few times. Always nice to see a vid and to see your assistants.
I was actually talking about this the other day, how there was a channel I liked of someone who made paper mache dragons. Seeing this notification was such a delight! I'm glad you still post. You were very inspiring to me years ago enough to make props and masks for a local art studio that did plays and musicals. So thank you for that as indirectly as it was. ❤
What a nice comment! Thank you for the kind words. Yes, there a couple of people who have pretty much copied my videos and channel. But that's okay. They are nice people. Hope you are still creating art. Take care
All is well thanks Dan, but I’m 82 now so my crafting has slowed down considerably. I’ve enjoyed going back over your videos, definitely they are just as wonderful second time around. Carol
I love it!!! Your sense of humor and your fantastic dragons merged into a creature marvelous! Thank you for sharing your amazing talent again. Love your work
Makes me happy to see that you still follow your creative path. I watched lots of your videos some while back. I love your new 'dragon' fruit plant peace of art.
Thank you very much for your nice remarks! You are the only one to notice the inside of the mouth! That is exactly what it had to be. I really appreciate you taking the time to write. Take care Dan
Awesome to see - my Dragon (made during an air quality lock down in Singapore in 2015), made its way on the plane in the special size compartment to our home in Australia- it was quite the adventure through the airport! 😂 Interesting to see the new material in use!
Well hey Slugstoppa! It's so nice to hear from you. You have been watching and commenting for as long as I've been doing this. I'm really flattered. I hope all is well. Dan
Thanks for the inspiring pictures. You are a new acquaintance to me and I fell in love with your work right away! You do absolutely amazing things, I hope you do more of these. ❤️👍🇫🇮🦕🦖🐲
Hey Maggie. So nice to hear from you! I was just playing around with this plastic. It's often used for cosplay. It's called "Worbla." Very low melting point. You use a heat gun to manipulate. Hope you are well. Thanks for the nice comment as always.
It's thermoplastic called Worbla. You use a heat gun to melt and form. I was just playing around with it when making this project. It's kind of expensive though. Take care
@@Gourmetpapermache Thank you! I love both your dragons and Monsters books. I used a couple of your techniques on a giant skeleton yard decoration during the pandemic and it turned out wonderful!
¡Hola Dan!
Dan
@GourmetPaperMache_ hahaha no, but I wish we did. Just mentioned it for theatrical purposes😃 Sure miss the meat market where they cut it in front of you and the gumball machine toys were the best.
I ❤ your videos. Sad your output is much less than in the past. I see you’re using therm-plastic. Do you like it more than glue dipped cloth? It’s easier to cut and form shape out of.

I have made teeth out of many things. Polymer clay is the easiest to use I think. But anything that can be fashioned into points will do. Fired clay will work. Any kind of plastic that can be molded will work, like Bondo, or even a couple tubes of epoxy. Add the hardeners and then wait until the substance starts congealing then fasting into teeth. Not sure what else to add. Everything seems expensive these days. You only need one small, 2 oz pack of polymer clay to make enough teeth and claws for a project. I think that is still the least expensive material to use. Sorry, I can't think of anything else. Good luck!
@@GourmetPaperMache_ I have 2 questions for you 1. why is my polymer clay turning black in the oven? and 2. have you ever worked with PROTOPUTTY? thanks for your reply =) when I finish my dragon I will post it on your site!
