    "Now, what you know is that I am literally a five-headed dragon. But what you don't know is that I am a five-headed dragon who cares. Hyram McDaniels, Mayoral Candidate." Welcome to Night Vale, anyone?

    You continue to astound my good sir. I've taken a huge interest in your craft and I'm making it into my own. I've made a few marrionettes and now completing a dragon trophy. It's a lot of work but I enjoy it, and people here in az are amazed by it. I've been offered 700$ for my first piece and 600 for the Dragon trophy. I hope to one day be as good as you and continue the advanced practice. My hopes is to make and sell paper mache as a source of income and it's slowly becoming a reality thanks to your teaching. Thank you Dan reader

    This is amazing, I never would have thought you could turn paper mache into such an awesome work of art. I have loved Tiamat forever. I am normally partial to red dragons but I think the green dragon head is my favorite. They need to scan this and then somehow make a movie off of these characters.

    In case if anyone doesn’t know who Tiamat is, she’s the dragon that represents all types of chromatic dragons (who are evil) in Dungeons and Dragons.

    You could also call this the Takhisis Dragon. Takhisis from DragonLance, the greatest fantasy series ever written in history, ever, was the goddess of the chromatic dragons with five heads, one of each color. White, Black,Green,Red and Blue. If you don't mind, how much did they pay you for this magnificent piece of work?

    GREETINGS FROM LAKEWOOD! Brilliant work, friend... WOW! I mean holy crap that is some good stuff. (I can only imagine how creepy cool your work space is-- lots of us LOVE to see other artists work spaces! HINT?) After reading through your comments I see that the teeth are fimo, but about the eyes...are you painting on a "mask" to shield them from painting then scraping off or did you just paint over while you were working? I am astonished and humbled by whith your arts. Ever consider teaching some workshops? Now....Im off to get lost in your videos. (Thanks for the video too, I know its time consuming to film, create, edit, publish, manage but Im sure you get a lot of help from your lil kitty!.-- SO appreciated!)

    • @Gourmetpapermache
      @Gourmetpapermache  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you very much Stacy! Your remarks are much appreciated. The eyes I use are glass, so the water-based paints don't stick very much. Sometimes I brush on a little water to soften the paint. It usually just peels right off. I've done workshops mostly funded by school districts for art teachers. But most of my audience is spread all over the planet. It's hard to get a critical mass of people together in one place. And my art "studio" is really the lower half of my house. I don't have a public space.
      Yes, it does take a lot of time and effort to make the videos and keep up a website, blog, and Facebook page. Sometimes (lately actually) I just have to hide in my studio and work. As you know, making art is a very labor intensive process.
      Thanks again. Greetings from Queen Anne in Seattle.
      Dan
