I honeslty love the inclusion of setting up certain parts of the process, like the box for the airbrush or preparation of paints. It gives a little insight of what goes on behind the scenes and I, peronsally, would love to see more of those!
I imagine that Brenda is built at 1:1 scale, but that her missiles do the exact same amount of damage as a full size tank shell. I can totally see her hanging out on top of a tank and providing additional fire support.
Can we bring attention to how photo realistic this turtle is? There is so much attention to detail and so much realism in the proportions and textures that this straight up looks like a cast turtle. Incredible work. Brenda is truly beautiful

In the German language, we don't have seperate words for turtles and tortoises, the word for both is Schildkröte - literally shieldtoad. If we need to tell turtles and tortoises apart, a turtle is a Wasserschildkröte and a tortoise is a Landschildkröte.
Fun fact, the English word "critter" comes from the word kröte! "Critter" refers to basically any small animal, though, as it has seen a lot of use that gave it new meanings.

Scale, huh? ...First thing that came to mind were the giant Galapagos tortoises, so...I'd Brenda's a pretty decently sized turtle...which makes her rockets a touch more threatening.
The tortoise looks so good. I love all the details that you did. I understand that this is a fantastical idea, but the holes on the carapace (top shell) looks really out of place to me. The shell of the turtle/tortoise is actually the combination of the vertebrae, and ribs of the animal. When damaged it exposes the muscles and the innards of the reptile, before healing up. However I have never seen a carapace with holes on it so who can say if it would look like this. But that is the only critique I will give it as a person who sees tortoises weekly. You did a fantastic job on this girl. You are always impressing me with your attention to details.
Never seen a dmg but seen some that have had dmg and it grows back, looks a bit like trees growing the bark back with layers. Iirc often it's fully healed and can't be seen after a few years, unless it's a combination of dmg then bad food and it'll be permanent.
@@HoggaforfanI have seen tortoises with deformed carapaces due to malnutrition, but I can’t recall ever seeing a tortoise that has survived extreme shell damage. That is interesting though.
i think ur right but honestly an easy way around it is that whatever it was that did the damage just dented the shell kind of? rather than actually penetrating
The outermost layers of the shell are made of keratin like your nails before it gets down to bone, so there can be chips broken or even peeled off of the carapace without too much “real” damage or dangerous cracks. This battle damage is pretty believable!
Brenda reminds me of the "Discworld" turtle. Discworld is a British 2 part TV show on TH-cam. Discworld sits on the backs of 4 elephants (North, South, East and West) and they stand on the back of a huge turtle that flies through outer space. Good show.

once that launcher starts firing there is no way that singular belt strap is gonna keep the turret in place. it at least needs another strap hooked to the front of her shell or something like that to prevent it from sliding backwards realism aside though, i love this one, and i love brenda. great work adam!

I don't know if this was intentional or not, but Brenda is in fact a female! She has a flat/round-ish underside which is (from what I know) the easiest way to tell a male and female turtle or tortoise apart as the males usually have an intentation on their undersides so that they can made comfortably!^^

Brenda is beautiful. I like to think she's just your average size, like the size of a full grown box turtle. And all the other turtles look up to Brenda's bravery. On a side note: I was always interested in sculpting as a kid, but never pursued it. Your videos have inspired me to give it a try. I just got my cheap-y pack of sculpting tools the other day and look forward to making my own nerdy things!

I don't know if this was intentional or not, but Brenda is in fact a female! She has a flat/round-ish underside which is (from what I know) the easiest way to tell a male and female turtle or tortoise apart as the males usually have an intentation on their undersides so that they can made comfortably!^^

I think Brenda's adorable no matter what size she is. And don't worry about the turtle/tortoise distinction; I'm pretty sure neither of them have ears, so they don't care what you call them.

we have had a t rex with a flamethrower, a bear with a minigun, and now a rocket launching turtle. really love these animals welding modern weapons keep it up. can't wait to see the next weapon animal *thumbs up*
If you ask your mom for Blastoise while she's out doing grocery shopping, she might just come home with this way cooler tortoise if you're really lucky!

Brenda is beautiful. I like to think she's just your average size, like the size of a full grown box turtle. And all the other turtles look up to Brenda's bravery. On a side note: I was always interested in sculpting as a kid, but never pursued it. Your videos have inspired me to give it a try. I just got my cheap-y pack of sculpting tools the other day and look forward to making my own nerdy things!

I feel like Brenda needs a friend. Armed with twin-linked miniguns because of course....Its funnier to imagine her as basically "normal turtle* scale however, mostly cause the size of the launchers makes her essentially fire tiny firework bottle rockets. And thats cute.
