    Thanks for your video.
    While calculating the Wind force value, you have used Force Co-efficient formula as per IS 875 Part -3 2015, clause 7.4 for all the directions. Is it right?
    Or we have to use the above formula for Top and bottom force only and for lateral load we have to use clause no. 7.3.1.

    Thanks for the great video. Two questions:
    1. How were the loads calculated at 2:05? You used Excel for that. Is there any formula for this?
    2. At 39:10, why was beta90 angle given to the Y beam?

      For wind load you need to study IS:875part-3, and yes I have prepared an excel sheet for this calculation.
      Beta angle is provided to rotate purlin with respect to the direction of rotation according we you see I have applied local wind load for the actual effect of wind

    Great video sir, I want to enter in designing part of solar but staad pro software is not downloadable in trial version. How to get it legally.
    Is any other alternative software which is best suited for solar mms analysis.

      On torrent you will get staad pro. Now days companies are using Select series addition of staad pro which is latest but you can also use staad pro select series 6.

      @@Hemant1991 This is one only user friendly software, otherwise you may use Robot analysis which belongs to Autodesk,
      To use Robot analysis you need to purchase this software

    You are considering only member area but wind will act on panels also.

      Cfn and CFT is the wind force coefficient for individual members, for there value I would suggest you to go through from IS 875 part-3-2015 latest version Table-29,
      But if you refer older version of IS-875-3-1987 then Table-26.

      @@structuralfacts6297 I did saw the table...but how do we know what values to take..you have here taken 0.6 cfn on angle 0 degrees, but in this table 0.6, 2.10, aren't there...
      So, getting confused, could you help me out there

      It is totally depend on the orientation of member in staad pro.
      Consider the Case of Channel section (C Shape)
      Let's assume X axis to Fn direction then wind blow angle will be (0 or 180)degree, then your coefficient will be Cfn=(2.05 or -1.8 )
      Maximum value will be use so, Cfn=2.05
      Z-Axis to Ft direction the. Wind blow will angle will be (90 or 270)degree, then your coefficient will be Cft=0.6 (270 degree angle direction not available).
