we want to know more about two things?
1. If we don't want to embed column throughout the pile, how to decide the foundation depth, size, and all other relative changes?
2. Some Rooftop customers don't want to drill through the slab, In that case how to calculate foundation size for dead load and relevant J-bolt or Anchor sizing?
1. column depth decided on the basis of embedment of pile inside the ground. And to decide pile foundation embedment you need to make sure your pile will safe for compression,Tension and lateral forces which is coming from the support.
2. The calculation is different in such case anchorage of foundation bolt is need to be calculated and which is dependent on the uplift force at the point of support to the ground.
To explain this topic it required another video.
Great presentation sir. For foundation you are comparing embedded structural steel area with required reinforcement area but the grade of structural steel leg and grade of reinforced steel are different no ? Also plz tell me how to keep the extra reinforcement if required area of steel reinforcement is more than embedded structural steel area. Thanq in advance
