I bought this facial interface as well and actually cut off those top vents and rectangular piece of plastic that sticks out at the top of the facial interface and left it flush . It now has better fov than the factory Meta facial interface and your face is closer to the lenses as a result with no obstructions. In my opinion, its the best your going to get minus using a bobo m3 halo strap without a facial gasket in terms of fov but also having the benefit that it still blocks off light in that same situation as you would do with the bobo. Amvr has pretty decent quality for all their products . I have been a fan since when the quest 2 first came out. No affiliation whatsoever.
I have that headstrap, but the torque the headset puts on it without a facial interface makes it impossible to keep it from falling down too far unless I have the strap sitting far enough up on my head that the two little tabs on top end up being at a bad angle and digging into my scalp.
I just bought a Quest 3 and the default facial thing is harsh and the light leaks through the bottom. Is this something I should get? I also wear glasses.
Yeah the default facial interface material isn't the softest, and the nose light leakage sucks. Getting something like this facial gasket will resolve both issues 😁 If you wear glasses, I highly recommend getting prescription lens inserts. I recently reviewed some of those that I recommend as well.
I also want to change the interface but the problem is everyone says they block some sensors or there is light leak. Be it Kiwi or AMVR. So It is kinda difficult to just pick up one but the default one is not comfortable and there is no nose cover to block light
The rubber nose flappies for light isolation? They can be removed if they bug you, but yeah, they may bother some people with different nose/face shapes.
What facial interface are you using?
The default haha

Could you somehow show what exactly you did to it, would be great having it fit the s3 pro properly
Thanks for that, honestly the FOV is super important on face interface reviews so when someone doesnt talk about it is quite dissapointing.
After getting the bobvr s3 i don't use the interface anymore. Its been great!

@BerryTheBnnuy maybe I have a weird shaped head lol
Wasn't sure at first but your intro has character lol
Very nice interface indeed.
Is it better or worse then the GlobularVR F3?
Which 3rd. party headstrap would you recommend for compatibility of the facial interface you're reviewing? Are you using Bobovr?
Any headstrap should work with any facial interface since they install completely independently from each other
I have that one. I had to cut the nose flaps off because it was making me lose my mind but other than that it's great

What head strap are you using? If I have it I will test both facial interfaces I have (AMVR & Globular Cluster) and let you know what's up.
@@ThisKory I use bobovr m3 pro. but i can only get kiwi v3 because of my region :/ thx tho.
I have kiwi k4, would work with this interface?
John McLane likes this.
The plastic nose piece is either the worst thing ever, or my nose is huge. Either or

@@ThisKory I had to remove it, felt like I couldn't breathe through my nose. The tiny bit of light bleed doesn't bother me too much
