I was literally just looking at the Kiwi face pad and charging/connection cord but saw some bad reviews and the padding looks odd in the photo. So I'm still looking for something.
@@SefianFM both Kiwi & AMVR are very comfortable in my opinion. Although neither are any good if you have the official Meta charging dock as they’re not compatible 😢
@@mrmobbs350 I haven't figured out the docking piece to it yet. I did buy another strap that has a battery pack on it, so we'll see how that goes. Also bought a different cord to directly connect the headset to my pc as my internet apparently sucks and steamvr doesn't like to play all that often. Hope it works!
@@SefianFM for wireless you need your PC connected to the router using a Ethernet cable. The Quest needs to be on a dedicated WiFi channel 5,6 or 6E ideally with no other devices connected on the same channel as that will impact the connection between quest & router. Ideally you also need to be gaming in the same room as the router
@@mrmobbs350 I will need to figure out how to switch wifi channels on the quest, but my son and I did figure out how to play in another room, so that's good at least. He's playing in the other room while I'm watching him on my pc.
@@SefianFM I have a WiFi 6E router which has a 2.4, 5 & 6ghz channel. Each has its own SSID (name) and password. So I just need to check my quest is signed into the one that says 6ghz. If you have split channels it’ll be something similar although some routers will auto assign & not give you the option
@mrmobbs350 eneloop rechargeable batteries by Panasonic. Bought on amazon, $22 ish. Comes with 4 batteries and a base station to charge all four up at once. When a pair dies, just swap the batteries with the ones on the charger
@@aleshashumate4495 I actually liked both but they weren’t compatible with the dock. There’s not a massive amount of difference imo but the AMVR would be my recommendation out of the two. I would have kept it if it was compatible Thanks for watching the video & supporting the channel. Really appreciate it ✌🏼😊
@@extremelyboredtatsumaki.495 thanks so much. I’ve done Fallout without the mod. Was going to do a follow up with the mod but I’d heard the last update broke them? Borderlands & RE8 will go on my list for sure. Really appreciate the suggestions… watch this space ☺️

I save a huge headache and money by just plugging in a USB C cable. It's really easy. 🤣
@@MobileDecay what charging solution do you use for your controllers?

I have some suggestions:
Fallout 4 VR with the FRIK and Bullet time vats mod. Also, Borderlands 3 via the UEVR mod! Also, RE8 PreyDog mod!
