I am subscribed to CF too. I was thinking with this tool you could find things in the color book pages CF sells. Like a butterfly or a rose. Cut those out and color them for clip art. I think I might try that.

Me too. I am so thankful that there are people showing how to do this, here on YT, instead of trying to sell you a course, every five minutes. Some of those courses are thousands of dollars. I have found some really good people, here on YT, that genuinely want to help.
I've used Photoshop over twenty years, and this would be easy for me in Photoshop. But not everybody has Photoshop. And they miss out on the convenience. So this is nice little program for them so they can alter png files. As long as the outlines are fully connected with no gaps, people shouldn't have trouble using it. You are being very helpful to them. Also, there are color books on Creative Fabrica. If you are subscribed, you could use parts of a coloring book page for designs. Maybe a flower, which you could color using this too. Great job. great video.

I just recently got creative fabrica after using only vecteezy. When I got on CF it was like the Temu of images. My brain exploded! 😂
It can be that way for sure. However, once you know what you are looking for based on trending products, you will find that CF sometimes does not have enough products. Lol.
All these months using Canva, I didn’t know there was an erase tool. I just subscribed!

Thanks for your kind words. I haven't done a video on this yet, but essentially you would just take your design and Canva and they have an option for you to resize this to whatever dimensions you put in. When you go into Printify, they will give you the size dimensions for the designs that will fit on that T shirt. You would just take those numbers and add those in to Canva to resize your design. You will have everything you need there. I hope this helps I can do a video on this shortly.

It is so important to change the designs you download from CreativeFabrica. Not only do most of the licenses require you to use the elements as part of a larger design, but you should be taking steps to set yourself apart from other sellers and designers.

Beside Canva is there another software/ program that can make the process easier? Inkscape, Affinity etc
So you can use programs like Kittl, you can also use programs like PIXLR.
What app do you use to film your videos with you on screen as well as your computer screen? Looks so professional.
Can you combine elements from two different image downloads? A Xmas tree from one and a reindeer from another and make one new design.. does that make sense?
Yes. Essentially you are just overlapping two png files which is how we design shirts using single elements. I hope this helps.
If I was to use a dog design that’s on there with commercial usage allowed what can I do to it so I can use it? I’m not sure how to modify it.
I originally just added text to it is that not enough?
I also have yet to see one that is full POD useable.

I tried to upload a font to use & Canva said it doesn't support that type of file. After I unzipped the folder & the only "file" to select looks like a sheet of paper with the corner bent & has the letter A on it. I really want to use this particular font for a customer, but don't know what I need to do to use it with Canva. I'm not a graphic designer nor am I terribly tech savvy. I haven't used any other design software other than Canva either. Could you please point me in the right direction? Thank you in advance Jay!

Just came across to your channel, I have learned so much, its amazing. Just one thing I am having issues with, I downloaded a design from Creative Fabrica and uploaded the ai file to Canva but its not allowing me to edit the text like showing in the video. What am I doing wrong? do I need to click on something special?
Hi thank you so much for your message! So Canva tries to convert the AI file as best as possible. So some items work and other do not. Hi, I am happy the video was helpful. So the AI is original the Adobe Illustrator file and can be used on different programs like PixLR and of course in Adobe Illustrator.

Your videos are so helpful. I am just having issues with the AI file. You said it doesn’t work for all. The one so tried didn’t download properly. It just came over as a plain font. Is that normal?

How did you download the file on canvas ????
For some reason canva doesn’t let me erase with some PNG files mostly from fabrica. I can’t erase the background which reveals the erase tool
Hi, make sure the file you are trying to use is actually the PNG file. Sometimes you can download a file from Creative Fabrica that comes as one design in many file types. If you are using the SVG version it will not give you the option to erase. This is only on the PNG files. I hope this helps. `

Hi, yes, some AI files don't convert well, however you want try different files an make sure you unzipped the folder before dragging the file over. Let me know if this helps.

How do I unzip the files to use in Canva?
Hi, are you using a Mac or PC? Macs should automatically unzip the folder, but if you are using PC, you would need to right click and select the unzip option. I hope this helps.
