@@theappalachianchannel I so enjoy the visits with Ralph he reminds me of my pawpaw. My mawmaw and him raised me from 3yrs old they were born in 1921 and 1924 I think differently than most people my age because of it.There generation was so much different than so many. There generation has left a great legacy and a hard one to follow by few for sure.I appreciate you and Ralph and his family for allowing all of us to visit with Ralph and his family.

He reminds me of a few old timer's I have known and I could listen to him talk all day long. These films are priceless gems. I noticed a couple times when his wife's name is mentioned, he seems to be drifting into his memories. Beautiful.

I was so naive all these years I never thought Tennessee ever got cold or snowed until I was 50 yr old, isn't that crazy?!!! I always thought it stood above 50 degrees through the winter. John you should visit Maine and find some old traditions that are still carried on! Reminds me of Maine.
My Grandfather and Grandmother John and Mary Bryant lived about a mile up the road. As a kid I used to walk to the store for jaw breakers and bubble gum. Mr Robertson was always nice to us kids.
Love that stove. Backing up to a stove when it’s cold, is a great treat. Precious Ralph and his girls. We had open fire places and pot belly stoves in Va. when I was a child.
