      In ancient days , they used to prepare alcohol with various tree barks, jaggery , boiling and fermentation processes. Since it’s all natural processes, the side effects were minimal. Everyone used to prepare in their own farming fields/forests. The brtsh understood this and forced their evil Lab-scientists to amplify the alcohol production so that they can commercialise it. But no one was buying their Lab-made alcohols. So they issued fatwa that arrest anyone who is making Alcohol at their farms…….why is this a concern? What is the major difference between a natural processed alcohol and the present the LAB-made alcohol ? The present day Lab-made alcohol destroys ur brain cells, memory loss, blackouts, insomnia, disturbed HPA AXIS, pancreatitis, insulin resistance,reduced response time of brain, and also liver cirrhosis….etc etc……thank you capitalism.😢😢

    Alcohol and cigarettes addiction actually destroyed my life. I could remember several years ago after divorce with my wife which brought me into my disastrous journey on Alcohol and cigarettes. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got diagnosed with cptsd. Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.

      Thanks for sharing your story. That's rough I sympathize. Save your health save your mind. Life is better without heroin, cocaine, alcohol and cigarettes. And you have more money in your pocket. God bless everyone who has rejected the devils intentions to be addicted to alcohol and cigarettes etc which can cause so much damage to health. I will pray for you all.

I'm 56 and have suffered for years with addiction, anxiety and severe ptsd, I got my panic attacks under control myself years ago and they have come back with a vengeance, I'm constantly trying to take full breaths but can't get the full satisfying breath out, it's absolutely crippling me, i live in Germany. I don't know much about these mushrooms. Really need a reliable source!! Can't wait to get them

      Mushrooms are very medicinal. This is why anybody familiar with psilocybin and any other kind of fungi will tell you, "They are alive." They have a very ancient wisdom. To my experience, all mushrooms have always said, "Pay attention to your life. How you think, how you feel, and what will you do with the information that you always knew, but now are seeing in this point of view." This is why mushrooms are so respected in tribal cultures. This mental health treatment works for me too. Half micro doses do the trick for me. At least a few days at a time with lengthy time in between. Never addictive. Thank you for sharing this point!

Later that year, he moved to Kochi and in 2016 my father fell sick again and died. He's such a great doctor, my family praises him till this date.

    Two points got my attention -
    1) if you would be strong enough to handle sorrow or pain in a conscious state of mind , it shows your strength. Weak ones simply put themselves into that temporary dopamine rush. And even I think like this only. Happy that I didn't drink even in tough situations in my life.
    2) I wish, people would listen their loved ones once. I wish.🙂

    @Ranveer I have following questions -
    1. Even though you guys are promoting no-alcohol, both of you were once heavy drinkers and *kind of flaunt about your this history*. It gives impression to youth (teenagers in particular) like alcohol is something not be missed, may be later in life we may quit.
    2. Your channel name is beerbicep which gives impression to general public is beer is something good for bodybuilding .
    3. My this third point is not about you, it is a general question. Most of western people drink alcohol and have better health and life span than average Indians. This baffles me like if alcohol is so bad then why it does not seem to affect foreigners?
    Note - I am asking these question only to have a good discussion, I myself do not drink or promote it.

    • @mohitpatel9974
      @mohitpatel9974 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Alcohol is absolutely bad for the health, there is nothing like a safe amount of it which will not affect your body. About your 3rd point, our work-life balance is not good. If you haven't experienced, their living standards is also on the higher side (technology or equipments they use). Quite a few are also gym freaks, which helps a bit in negating the ill effects. Alcohol is one factor affecting health, there are hundred other reasons due to which someone falls sick. Go to liver hospital and check data, you will notice, most were alcoholics, that is how you view data. Habits of people who visited the specialist hospital. In case of liver issues (mostly alcoholics).
      1st point they say they were drinkers, because many drinkers say it is addictive and they can't quit, which is what they want to counter, that there shouldn't be any excuse and one can overcome it.

      Myth. In the West we have an cancer epidemic. 1 in 2 people will get cancer and it has been linked directly to alcohol as well as dietary and lifestyle factors. Many people are teetotal in my country especially young people because of these frightening statistics. What you see in Western movies should not be considered to be the norm here.

    Good that people are talking about liver related issues. We need more such talks around Kidney (CKD, AKD) related issues too - Kidneys are also impacted severely by Alcohol/Tobaccos/Metabolic issues. And unfortunately, once you get chronic kidney disease then it's impossible to reverse it( You can delay it's damage but non reversible). Let's find some KidneyDoc too to address such issues because dialysis patients are increasing exponentially in India & abroad.

      I'm truly sorry for your loss. I believe that alcohol often mirrors our emotions. Initially, it may bring joy, with limits on how much we consume. However, when we start turning to alcohol for minor frustrations, the real challenge begins. It can escalate to solitary drinking, which is especially problematic. In my own experience, alcohol served as a numbing agent for shame, some of which was inherited, making us emotionally unaware. As consumption increases, it can lead to daily drinking.
      I've been in that situation, but I chose to make a change. Currently, I'm on a journey to Stanford to delve deeper into psychology. My goal is to understand the intricate relationship between mental well-being and addiction.

    I have been having large quantities of alcohol for more than 30 years and from 2012 to 2022 full blown alcoholic 24x7. More than litre every day. I hit rock bottom in April 22. ICU with heavy GI bleeding and more than 5 endoscopies with variceal banding. (Clipping). I was very close to death with stage 2 cirrhosis. I had the seizures, delirium tremens and hallucinations that were spoken about. I followed that up with 6 months rehab. It's been 2 years almost off alcohol of any kind. I don't take any medicines today, I exercise. Yes, some minor bodily problems are there, but so far so good. I'm glad I did the rehab, because the whole game is in the mind. Had to learn to control that first. Thank you for a wonderful interview with a very knowledgeable person. Served a great reminder of what this social poison is capable of and hope it helps some viewers of your channel.

    As a doctoral researcher, researching BPD and the stigma around it, its true empathy and compassion are a skill that is missing from the ethos of medicine. Very frequently someone who has BPD + substance abuse issues will be routed out of care just because they are judged and victimised by the medical staff whereas BPD and substance abuse both are treatable with the right tools!

    Ranveer, every loved one gives that wake-up call to the person abusing alcohol. Unfortunately, very rarely, people listen to the plea or feel the pain. The regret has to come only from within. This may be too late; a person may lose his health, his career, relationships or even life. As part of Rotary Club of Deaddiction’s drive I met many survivors; most of their spouses felt trapped and the alcohol abuser has no idea of the suffering others go through. Make more of such videos. Even if you change one life, you save a family. 🙏

      Yes the pull of the addiction is so strong that the pleas of the loved ones go unheard. But kudos to doctors such as these who keep researching and looking for protocols that can help with deaddiction. Hope and awareness needs to be spread

    Hi Ranveer i just love these kinds of health related podcasts and we are living in much of a polluted lifestyle, i think we need to go back to our roots that's ayurveda. Can you please make podcasts related to purely about ayurveda, foods to be added in healthy Lifestyle. I just loved your Cancer podcasts, so discuss more about foods or lifestyle which prevents cancer.

    I personally don't drink... however, when he is saying that any amount of alcohol can reduce your brain volume, which means any amount of alcohol is not okay, then why ethanol is used in cough syrups which is consumed by all age groups especially kids. Doesn't it affect the brain volume?

    Its about friend circle... nowadays that peer pressure is very high with digital world.
    I used to drink in social occasion, twice a year , 2-3 drinks, sugar loaded bcoz i couldn't bear the taste, before that social occasions it was when i used to meet my friends, 2 times a month, additional to 2 times a year and before that it was weekend. Now i left drinking bcoz of pancreatitis, went for operation, no amount of control helps in improving situation, i was never addicted, no drug abuse cases, whenever i wanted i used to drink, some craving was there but no addiction. Lesson is Do not drink at all, even a healthy lifestyle won't help you with it, i had my surgery at 31, my mother was non alcoholic, she had that at 50 years , gall bladder remved, my colleague we have no relation, gym person, he went around 26-27 years. For him no family history
