@@Jaycation Hi Jay Jay! Get ready with your favorite Filipino restaurant in MM - I’m bringing HereBeBarr & TeamAdriana (with my wife) , for a first time for me & my wife experience with Filipino food!😃😸😄😬😁Personally I’m curious about Filipino beer 😆
Tita’s in National City is my fav Filipino food. I usually get the BBQ chicken sticks delish.🥰 In my opinion, Kabayan has the best fresh baked Pandesal, if U go early in the morning when they open.
This is great! I'm Filipino and grew up in PQ. The only restaurants I knew about in Mira Mesa were Manila Sunset, Red Ribbon and what's in Seafood City. Thanks Jaycation, going to check these out.
Because of your video, this morning, I watched it and we are now at Manila Fast Food Desserts. It was indeed, freaking delicious. Thank you so much for the suggestion we just moved here and we love Kearny Mesa. Now we love Mira Mesa
it's nice to learn about your culture and it's cool you speak another language. Im black and indian myself. The filipino food looks interesting. I enjoy watching your various videos from food, hotels, beaches, landmarks, and to casinos. have a good one, alita knight
About 25 years ago, when I worked in Sorrento Mesa, there were really only a couple of Filipino restaurants. The one that is now Manila and Kristie’s was the place where everyone bought lumpia. I always thought it was so strange that Mira Mesa had so few Filipino restaurants. Now it looks like there’s a lot more to choose from.
Zarlito's has the best chicharron bulaklak. Inside Island Pacific Market next to Tita's is a place called (I think) Philhouse Lutong Bahay. They have good food there too. My go to is always Lisa's Filipino Cuisine, also on Plaza Blvd (good chicken chicharron). As always, great video pare! Side note: Bummer that Jollibee stopped serving their "silogs". Now they are too Americanized. LOL
You have too visit on coronado and saturn Ave. Next too yum yum donuts. Fridays nights they have music in the parking lot and grilling fillipino food. Best
I FREAKING LOVED THIS VIDEO. I GREW UP WITH PINOY PEEPS. I lived closed to historic Filipino town in L.A and now that I live in victorville its hard to get good food out here. Thank you so much for this! Keep it coming. And if you can do a Filipino vlog in San Marcos where I go 3 times a month much appreciated! Keep up the good work J 👏 👍
Nice! I want to do a historic filipino town video someday. As for San Marcos, all my filipino friends that live there actually come to mira mesa for any type of asian and filipino foods!
Goldilocks! Between seafood city and golden chopsticks in National city! Also would love to see you do a kamayan video at that Villa Manila place! I’ve been wanting to eat there with my parents but I’d love to see you do a video on it first! Also Max’s Restaurant and Trining’s in Mira Mesa!
Goldilocks is a great spot! I would consider Max’s but its kind of expensive. Ill definitely be doing more spots in the future though. Thanks for the recs!
Nanays BBQ smelled great this morning. My Son and I stopped by Donut Touch which sells good Nova salmon bagels. I shouldve grabbed a plate from Nanays.
Jay what the heck? Glad to meet you bro. I hope your visit to Sprouts was a good trip. Mom got a kick chatting on the phone with you. Anyways O'hana, Love your show. Mahalo and Aloha brudder. Lets go Hawaii and trust me I will show you local Grind. Again thank you for keeping us real.
Jaycation.. great video with Jesscation on cameo. If you are ever by the San Francisco bay area, hit up Fil -AM bbq for the huge chicken and pork bbq sticks.
My wife and have been on the USS Midway twice. Never tried the Filipino food. My wife and Nanay make homemade Filipino food. We live in Washington. But, I like Pancit Canton. Was Stationed Subic/ Cubi 1989-92.

Ohhh if u want beer maybe we can go to carinderia in encinitas!
I don't think this style of Filipino Fast Food even exists ANYWHERE in NYC. It's either Jollibee or a sit down restaurant.. We are lacking :(
Thats right i noticed that! Not even in queens?
@@Jaycation Queens has Mama Fina's, one of my faves, it's a sit down spot which Filipinos need more of instead of cafeteria style.

MJ's in Chula Vista is my personal favorite, it's more fushion style but an amazing spot!
Ohhh the first longanisa burrito i ever had was from MJs!
You went to Cafe Indonesia because they serve Filipino food. I want to try their Indonesian food, 'cause I love satay!!!!!!!
I'm Mexican, my husband is Mestizo. Our favorite local restaurant is Karihan Filipino Food on 2220 E Plaza Blvd A-2, National City, CA 91950.
That food looks so good. I really wish that we had that kind of stuff where I live here in Canada. Poutine gets old. LOL
I bet Toronto and Vancouver have a few Filipino spots! What part of Canada are u in?

Why not Serbesa? It's right next to Cafe Indonesia.
They closed early that day so next best option
Carin de Ria in Encinitas, it's a sit down spot
I was about to say, you better have titas on this list. If you didn't, you know there'd be blowback. Good job Jay.🤙
858 Stand Up
Why don't you eat rice anymore?
"Ka-MOO-sta"??? Really??? You can better than that! Try "ku-moo-STA"! I had to replay that a few times.
Why can't you tell us what it is? Like what's the Meats? Is the sensic is that pork? And I don't even know how to spell that
Titas!
Such a classic filipino spot in SD!
Which place has the best lumpia? lol
