- Yesterday I prone foiled the Pailolo Channel between Maui and Molokai in Hawaii... the wind was too light for me to start with my webbed gloves on my downwind board, so last minute I decided to send it on my 4'0" FLITELab* board. I stepped off the boat and ended up 43km across the channel in one shot... what an experience!

Congratulations on a flawless run on the prone board! Great footage and views.
Yeh so stoked. Thanks man!
You are one of the best foilers in the world. thank you for the inspirationally video.
Thanks mate. Stoked to meet you! What a sick vibe it was over there. Until next time 🙏🏼
So sick Adam !!! That tiny board in that place is so Crazy !!! CONGRATULATIONS BRO , 🙌🙌💪💪💪🤙🤙!!!
I’m so stoked I made it!
Amazing story 😮. Great work💪
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
That’s so sick. At first glance I thought you might be on the AMP. To do that the prone is amazing.
Yeh no amp. Just prone. So stoked I made it!
A true pioneer to the sport! I need to learn downwind
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 yeh man, it just means more time on foil once you learn!
Stoked you are here and experiencing our magic!
Bloody beautiful!
Sick one Adam! Nice story!
Thanks dude. So stoked!
Congratulations…great insight, and perspective….best wishes at M2O 🙌
Thanks man. Just made the M2O also. So stoked!
Super achievement - legend!
Thanks man. I’m so stoked!
Well done mate - big step up from those shorter DW sessions. Looked like you enjoyed it too.
Yeh I tripled my longest run ever in 48 hours 🤣 so much fun!
Congratulations Adam !!!
Thanks mate!
Historical ! Congrats
Stoked! Thanks!
Mate the best video , how's the chunk out of your foil . Best footage of the race I've seen well done and thanks.
cheers brother. What a time to be alive!
so rad Adam ☀
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
That was epic!
So epic!
Awesome job Adam, Mister Bennetts. History in the Making, Legend 👍🍺🏄🏼 Me Beginner "KOOK hahaha" on the foilboard been learning a lot on the Kihei Runs the last 6 weeks. Kihei is easier to learn on than Maliko for a Beginner Kook like me. I did sign up for the M2M but pulled out "I'd be like after 5 miles Claire come and get me please = Help Me Please Mr Wizard" was hoping to catch up with you Mr Bennetts but our paths didn't cross - Maui's unreal hay! this is my 18 tour of Maui ❤🍺👍 love The People The Place & The Vibe. I have done the M2M 8 times already on an 18ft SIC SUP, 3 1/2 hours it used to take me - Foiling is were it's at; faster & more surfing 🍺🍺🍺 p.s. I've had Honolua Bay Pumping it's like Angourie on Steroids 🏄🏼
Yeh mate so stoked. Can’t believe I made it! Keep ripping in mate and I’ll see you next year! Yew!
Legendary !!!
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Congratulations your skill and exploration, Can you do video from Maui to Big Island
Thanks! Maybe next time 🤙🏼
Well done Adam, I'm sure your legs are twice the size,if the wind 🌬️ is at your back could you use the wind 🌬️ to your benefit😅
Thanks! Yeh man it was hard but definitely nice having the wind on the back!
Different breed
😅😅😅
Pink boy! well done! LOL!
Haha yew
Amazing you could make with a damaged foil!
Is dockstarting off a boat cheating? Is everyone supposed to be stationary for the start, like a running race? Or are people allowed to be up and foiling before the start, like the start of a sailboat race?
Yeh so stoked.
Not really sure, I dock started behind the start line after the hooter went, so not sure where that sits as Ridge did the same off a rock in the Paddlw Imua race a few days earlier.
I think if I was too fall in the channel and then get assistance from my boat, I could be disqualified.
At the end of the day, I’m just stoked to be able to do the crossing in one hit!
@@misterbennettsI buy the flying start, I just didn’t know if it was specified.
Do you wish you’d had an even smaller board, for better pumping efficiency? Or were you glad to have a mid length for touchdowns?
Were you going downwind faster than the wind? If not, do you wish you’d worn a baggy top, to capture a bit of wind energy?
Well this is my normal prone board at 4’0”, so I couldn’t have gone any smaller 🤣
At times I was going pretty fast, a baggy top probably would have just gotten in the way.
I was just enjoying being able to surf the bumps properly without having a giant board that gets in the way and gets grabbed by the wind.
I’m stoked with how everything felt!
@@misterbennettsawesome! Maybe you’ll help normalize pronefoil downwinders!
I hope I can inspire some more people to do it prone! I’ve got another vlog on my M2O run dropping tomorrow morning. Talks more about the prone element of down winding on a regular down wind board with webbed gloves. Stay tuned!
Wild...why was it too light for the downwind board, didnt the other guys use these boards?
he was hoping to use hand paddles/gloves instead of a real paddle
Yeh I can’t use the SUP paddle. I never learnt how. So I was going to use hand paddles or webbed gloves, but the start was super light so I would have paddled for maybe 5-10 miles before I got into decent bumps to be able to get up. So just sent it on the prone. Stoked I made it!
Yeaaaa bro
🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
do you need more wind to start with the webbed gloves than with the stand up paddle?
On a traditional down wind board, yes and no. You really just need the bumps to be steep. Which can happen with not too much wind. But generally, the more wind, the steeper the troughs!
🤙🤙

...Huntington Hop on the long stretch! for rich kooks only☝️here in Cal ,electric boogie boards for rich super kooks
