I’m a Born & raised Molokai person. Don’t get confused.... enjoy the Beauty but PLEASE don’t move there. Our island home that we Love & Protect is drastically changing when a visitor family tells another visitor family then wants to buy and next come development. Development can be good.... and can be BAD!! We are simple living people. Development will increase taxes and make it Hard to live here on our island HOME. All I’m saying is put yourself in our shoes then you might understand. Molokai is not a visitors palace.... it’s OUR HOME.
    Mahalo 🤙🏼

Moloka’i is has so many hidden gems! Everyone know Uncle Eddie, he is also a good musician! I love the content of the video, but just a small advice, that music that kept on repeating over and over again, sorry but I couldn’t finish watching the video because of the music. It’s like a music you play over and over again when you are interrogating and torturing a prisoner, lol. I know it is probably pricey to license a music but when you pick a music with an effects added that repeats over and over again, it is torture, lol. It could just be me, otherwise lot of good content, love the fact that you highlighted Uncle Eddie!

Thanks for the video. I went to Molokai in 1991, and stayed at the hotel that now is condos. The undertow at the beach was very strong, and I ended up swimming in the pool daily instead. I went to a Safari sort of thing, with Hawaiian animals to see. And went on a sailing trip to see whales. (It was too windy, though.) I also painted lots. Wonderful and relaxing, and very friendly people. I got an orchid on my plate for every meal!

I will not do any videos to share with complete strangers of my trips in Hawaii, I won't even give out advice to people of where to go. Why? I feel it screws the locals. We have been going for decades to Hawaii, I enjoy the Big Island, I really dislike that some bozo will give the locals secrets out on the web. Locals are already displaced by tourists, if you learn the secrets by getting to know the locals and learning by being there yearly, ok. But to have a bunch of idiot tourists show up and invading the locals places is not cool at all. I totally get why locals hate tourists. Anyone giving out local secrets deserve hate.

You should STOP doing these videos!!!! It's so offensive to see outsiders trying to "SELL" our island for tourism and self-interest, especially through the media which can be seen world-wide We don't want to be overwhelmed by tourist!!! A community meeting with the people of Moloka'i would have been more appropriate before doing this. Some of these places are pristine and special to us and not for outsiders. We fought for over 40 years to keep Moloka'i the way it is..we want it to stay that way!
