Still have my XS max and working perfectly fine.
Good. Keep it another year and upgrade next year
I have one too. Then I fell down and broke it on the back and front. Now upgrading to 15 PM or 13 PM or Pro depending what deal I can find on the used market
I also still have my XS Max as a back up phone. Recently I put my sim in it for a week and lived it. Candidly I did not feel I was missing out on anything. Most iPhone lovers will I believe happily admit that this was the best design ever from Apple. Remember when this thing came out! It was WOW this thing is amazing. I dont think since then we have had a WOW moment to be honest.
I have been using the new device since 2022, I am very pleased with its performance and iOS 18 support, I think it will be relevant for a long time. Battery is 88% right now.
Typing this on my Xs max. Still works great but my battery life is starting to lag. Getting the 16 pro max next and hopefully it’ll last me another 6 years.
Still a good phone and always will be

Still using Xs Max but will be upgrading this year. The battery life is pretty bad now and I’d like a bit better cameras.
Mine still has 89% battery because I don't live on it like most people lol.
@@thegrandpencil4374 I don’t think I live on it too but I use it as a hotspot for everything so it drains fast…has 78% and lasts about 2 hours top😅

I have a XS Max as a backup phone in case my main breaks, use it more like an iPod Touch currently
I just upgraded today to iPhone 16 Pro Max from my 6 year old XS Max. The XS Max has been great and never felt inclined to get a new phone until now. Admittedly, I could have waited another year or two. My battery health is 81% and if I was going to keep it a few more years I’d get a new battery which is about $99 I think. I fully agree with pretty everything that was covered in this video.
How do you like the size of the 16 pro max? It's 0.4" larger than the XS max. Are you happy you upgraded and like the newest model better? I'm either gonna get the 16 pro max, or wait one more year for the 17 gen
@@rosedcurt2865 Yeah, I’ve only been using the new phone for about 3 days and like it a lot. I’m glad I upgraded. It’s zippier, battery is obviously much nicer and charges faster. The size isn’t all that noticeable, but it’s nice. It took me about 4 days from time of purchase to when I started using it as I was waiting on a case that I ordered online. Knowing me, I’d probably drop the new phone without case on concrete and trash it the first day. It was great when the case arrived. Then of course I ran into glitches getting my data from my old phone transferred as my main computer is a PC with no USB-C ports and my only USB-A to USB-C cable was crap and not good enough for data transfer so I borrowed a cable from a friend and luckily he had a good one. So once I got Windows and iTunes to recognize the 16 Pro Max I could finish getting things set up. Obviously I ordered some new cables. At first I was paranoid that the 16 pro max with usb-c port wasn’t compatible with computers with usb-a ports, but seemed unlikely as I would have heard of it before since the 15 pro max has usb-c as well. Plus, technically it wouldn’t make sense for different port types to be an issue. So….thats when I figured it had to be the cable, and it turned out to be correct.
Even if apple stops supporting older devices, we have to admit that those devices works really really well even though they are outdated. And it’s quite impressive considering the fact that those devices work so well compared to other android devices from the same release year that are lagging and stuff

Have an iPhone 15 Pro Max, and my XS was still my favorite phone ever! Definitely their best design ever, amazing how Apple goes backwards every year in design, because they are LAZY!
Man, I just got the 16 Pro Max today after upgrading from 13 PM and it had me thinking of this XS Max device. I think the XS Max is my favorite iPhone I’ve had. I don’t know if I hold sentimental feelings with the time I had that phone in my life or if it was the first time seeing OLED on big screen iPhone for me, but that phone was magical. I miss the rounded design. But I do love the design route the newer models have taken, I just have a lot of nostalgia for the XS Max.
i got one Saturday 9/10 condition the 1 point its missing it has 76%... just got to change the battery and this phone is good
Nope. Don’t. It’ll be unsupported next year. Just ride it out with an external battery pack

I still use my xs not even the max and works perfectly. Only downside is the battery life. But I don’t wanna upgrade…it’s the perfect gold phone
I got mine when it came out. The battery is still at 100 capacity 🎉and has the iOS 18 software update that’s nice❤ love it😊
How just HOW. I got the 15 pro max for like 6 months give or take and it’s at 99% (which is not bad at all) but got ur for 7 years now and still at 100% (unless you changed the battery 😂)

I want to repair my xs max rose gold then sell it & it still works had it for 6 years i got new iPhone this year the battery just can’t hold up anymore I will forever love my max 😭😭😭😭
I’m kinda surprised that I’ve had the XS Max since it came out and I really don’t have any complaints. Sounds like I’ll be upgrading within a year due to OS limitations 🤷🏼♂️
I’ve got one and I have 77% battery health but it says immediately service battery in iOS 🤣🤣. I think it’s screwed tbh and I’m upgrading to a 16 Pro Max after six years.

und bin absolut zufrieden. Es gibt keinen Grund für mich auf ein neues Gerät umzusteigen. Den Akku habe ich ganz einfach selbst getauscht. Display, Kamera.... alles ist perfekt beim iPhone XS Max 😎

i have a poco f5 pro it's perfect for me in every way except for its cameras, my sister has had an iphone xs max for many years and she just bought the 15 pro max, i saw the xs max camera and decided to take it from her so that I'd use it's camera for social media lol

I have an xs max and I will only change it for a truly innovative device, perhaps the 17 air or slim, today's ones seem really bulky and massive to me. I would never change it for an iPhone 16 Pro Max. never!!!
