Great the way you put a bolt through to hold nut while you were 'book's welding it; and the way you enlarged that cover to take the new...thingy (junction? relief valve?). You needn't have speeded up the vid -- I could have watched at normal speed. I have a TB016 and would like to put a thumb on it but knew there was more to it than welding and getting some hoses. Fitting a relief valve is beyond me and you're the first video I've seen mention it. One of the boxes to the left crawler burst yesterday. I removed the plate (actually both sides) and inside was packed solid with dirt and PEBBLES! I'm told you have to work from that panel underneath. But the digger is STUCK with the boom extending into a 'room' at the end of the barn where I was 'coralling' logs for the fire! Am hoping to get a farmer to drag it out with a tractor so I can spin the boom backwards and lift up with the blade. If the crawler tracks won't move forward or back does that mean that two pipes have burst? There seems to be a whole load of pipes (4?) in each side. Also, good job it's self-bleeding and no faffing like with my little tractor! Thanks for video.

On mine there’s a pedal to the right of the sticks that you flip up and pivot a rod left or right of the pedal to the pick thumb or boom articulation. Hopefully helps
Could you go through each lever and function and don't speed it up I am getting ready to install the thumb and I don't even know where the lever is Yours looks like a '99 same as mine
where are both the fuel filters located.You mentioned that you changed one filter and then changed the one with the plastic bowl WHERE WAS THE FIRST ONE YOU CHANGED.
The hose barb that you want to plug is designed to receive the return from the fuel injectors. This is done so that the engine primes easier, and reduces the chances of an air lock at the injectors.
What do you do if an air lock occurs? I think I have that happening in mine. I changed the fuel filter, now it wont start. The filter bowl is full of fuel but I had to fill it manually
You first clear away any debris and dust, then loosen the fuel lines to the injectors, and when fuel squirts out plenty as you’re cranking the engine over, re-tighten the lines. This should free your air lock.

There is often an inline filter, and a filter in the fuel tank on the pickup line on many machines.

Thank you for your reply, Steven. Yes it was a return line, but I already have a return line somewhere else. It all worked out in the end.
